Here's a sneak peak: Q: What do you want people to take away from reading this book?
Being a new adult is a crazy, confusing, amazing time. We don’t magically turn into an adult once we hit eighteen. We don’t know it all. We don’t make the best decisions. We still jump to conclusions and stick to what we think is right. But that’s all part of growing up, the journey to adulthood.
We want the love story, the happily ever after, but we never really get there until we learn to love ourselves and come to terms with who we are first. Get an education. Make good friends. Have a career and hobbies. Cut your family some slack. Be with someone who enhances you and makes you a better person. Strong men need strong women – and vice versa. Have a life outside of your relationship.

Giving Back - It's my Duty
I opened my eyes this morning and it truly hit me:
DELAYED PENALTY is out in the world! Which is so completely awesome!! A dream come true! So now what do I do??
Work on Book 2!
Well, of course. And books 3, 4 & 5!!
BUT - I mean in the grand scheme of life. If you've read - or even started - DELAYED PENALTY... You've noticed that there are some real life issues in there. Issues that are very dear to my heart. Issues that I need to be a voice for. I've tried my entire life. And I think having an opportunity to bring light to an issue is my duty as an author, as someone who puts words into the world for others to read. My VOW to help... As some of you know from previous posts...I was a grieving child. Hell, I'm still a grieving adult.
My vow is to give AT LEAST $500 from the profits of DELAYED PENALTY
to a grief support program. I chose St. John Providence Open Arms
located in my hometown, Detroit, MI. St. John Providence Open Arms "Open Arms is a grieving children’s support program that helps children ages 3-17 years and their family members find healthy ways to cope with their feelings of sadness, anger or frustration, and be able to return to their day-to-day activities. Open Arms has become a place of comfort for children and adults who are surviving the loss of a loved one." ~ Open Arms website I hope I can give MORE!! But this is my first book and I have no clue how much I'll make - while still helping feed my own family. But know that I promise to give at least $500. I don't know when...but I'll let you know. THANK YOU for supporting my career. In supporting my career, you are also supporting education and programs to help others!! Together we can make a difference. I KNOW IT!!

Her favorite focus was periods of history that brought two disparate peoples together to marry, like marriage in the Levant during the Kingdom of Jerusalem, or marriage between convicts in colonial New South Wales. Each one of the books in her Sweet Cheyenne Quartet has reached the Best-Sellers list on Amazon, and all are available in e-book and paperback formats.
