Just my opinion…
but I feel like the country that gave the world maple syrup, hockey, William Shatner shouldn’t also be the country who gave the world the largest dating site for cheating spouses. Oh, Canada. Sigh.

Starting the Day, Right
The best-worst thing about being a writer is that–short of deadlines imposed by publishers–is that it’s a business of one. Which means, trying to find motivation and energy to write and spend 8 hours a day sitting in front of a computer can be a difficult thing to do.

Lessons from my fence
My life is blessed for many reasons, one of which is the house I live in. I’m one of the lucky people whose backyard borders a patch of land the city has chosen not to develop. A quick walk out my back gate and I have a lovely park for my dogs. On early mornings, I have the gentle rustle of trees to keep me company as I have my first cop of tea.
