Can't decide on cover.
Below you see two sets, the first being more metallic, the second flatter. Let me know what you think. I'm leaning toward the bronzy letter versions.

Small update

This is Prince Ugoth, fan art by Ambra. Ugoth is a major character throughout The Soulstone Chronicles.
I started the second edition edit of Omos of the Ether, follow up novel to Haru of Sachoné House. I’m encouraging my artistic middle kid to make me a dragon silhouette to match my shark. I don’t know. He’s not too keen to do art right now, so I might end up drawing it myself, but it will likely start hand drawn and get scanned. I can’t seem to catch on to drawing using the graphics tablet. And if I have a total fail on that, I still have the husband to encourage. He’s fairly decent at drawing too. And then there’s my daughter …
I’m getting this maniacal feeling here. Totaling up my artistic assets like they aren’t family. But one of them might draw it for me if I whine particularly convincingly.
Ok, so that’s where I’m at in the literary department. Editing and poking the family artists to do a wee bit of the cover art.
Now for reviews. I have my first review of The Gryphon Taint: Volume One on Amazon. Four out of five and all around good marks for my oldest book in the series (as in when I wrote it).
The latest review is for Bound in Stone: Volume One on Amazon, and it’s a lovely five out of five given by someone who has read a lot of fantasy novels.
Thank you to both reviewers.
That sums up my stuff for now. I shall update later as I get closer to the finish of this edit.

Brute by Kim Fielding

I nabbed this ebook because of the unusual protagonist, Brute, an ugly guy, an unwanted human being, a slave to his employer pretty much, and also a victim/prisoner of social expectations. And then of course the other character nailed this as interesting enough to tell my friend about and we bought and read it at the same time. Second character: tormented, foolish, already did things before he had the maturity to be wiser, and now he's suffering and is probably a little insane. Where the first character is practically zen in his endurance, this guy is an absolute mess. 'Course he needs saving.
And you might think you know where the story is going now, and maybe you're right. This is a fairy tale of love conquers all, but got to tell you, this fairy tale is a beautiful read. The story has really nice balance throughout. It's thoughtful, but has the scenery and action to keep you solidly in the world of Brute, whose acquaintances feel as real as he does. This is a romance that works. It's a lovely novel, and I highly recommend it. Flawed people fall in love too. Although ... actually, I don't think Brute's flawed.
Would be lovely to read more with this pair of lovers. (Bought at publisher site.)
This book is also available on Amazon, where it seems to have a lower price at the moment.
