First Week Sales
Just like the music industry, first week sales for a book is pretty darned important. Today, 12/29, is the pub date of my newest novel IF YOUR WIFE ONLY KNEW. And I am super excited. You may order it everywhere. My website www.cydneyrax.com, bn.com, target.com, Walmart.com, and so on. Get those orders in. The price is not a budget-breaker. Try and read it as soon as you can and feel free to post an online review. Also, for those who prefer to read the library copy, do not hesitate to see if your local branch has the novel. If they don't, ASK FOR IT. The readers have loads of power and may not know it. Your word of mouth gets the ball rolling and can extend the shelf life of a book. If you buy it, read it and discuss it, the story stays on the minds of the readers and the stores. It's like a hit movie. When it's a hit, it remains in the theaters.
