Why Readers Love Shifter Romances
Follow The Crowd...If you love paranormal romance, then there is a good chance you heard of the new phenomenon running under the collective name 'shifter romance'. You might even have read one (or a few hundred). Well, let me just say that I haven't, so I'm no expert on the matter. In fact, up until a few weeks ago, I couldn't have imagined what readers enjoyed so much about these stories. I mean, seriously? A man being able to turn into a panther or a bear? That's so not cool or sexy, right? So, I stuck up my nose, deciding not to go with the crowd. You know me, I won't read something just because everyone else does. That's not good enough a reason to me. Why? Because I like something that's different, something that makes me think outside of the box. And true, shifter romances are anything but normal or regular, still, I just couldn't relate. I'm sure you know the feeling, when you are supposed to drool over something just because everyone else does the same, but you would rather kiss your worst enemy than do that?Ever sinceFifty Shades of Grey, everyone wants to read about sex, erotica and mainly bdsm. And, ever sinceTwilightandThe Vampire Diaries, everyone wants shifters. It started with werewolves and vampires (I think), but now you can read about anything.Oh, Wait...Actually, thinking about it, I do love both Twilight and The Vampire Diaries. And they did start out as books, didn't they? Just like Fifty Shades of Grey did. Hmm, I might be onto something there. So, digging a little deeper, I realized that I'm no different than anyone else, who is into the panty-melting bad guys. I have a dark side, too, one that's lurking beneath the surface, ready to come out. But why are shifters so popular? Could it be, that because they are so dangerous? Or because the common phrase 'sexy as hell' fits them perfectly?I mean, why would you need to choose between a badass monster and a badass hero (or heroine)? Can't they both win? What if you could turn into a powerful creature on a whim, could control others' minds and be let's say invincible? Oh, so it came at a price? What doesn't? And let's face it, the epic fight between good and evil is present in nearly every book (and has been so since the beginning of time). And when someone isn't only battling outside forces, but their demons within, now that adds an extra bit of spice to the story. Hmm, especially if there is some hot, kinky sex involved (which is involved most of the time - just saying). The Darkness WithinMaybe, by reading these stories about inner darkness surfacing (and the hero trying to push it back) reassures us that we aren't the only ones with sinful desires. These shifter stories usually contain a heroine who accepts the beast for who he really is: a wounded soul trying to control his inner demons. Isn't that sweet? And isn't it what life should be about? In a way, these stories can teach us a lot of things. And as I said, I'm nowhere near an expert, but on second thought, I do think that they have a deeper meaning. They aren't about the mouth-watering characters, or the powerful forces at play. Not even the sizzling hot sex scenes. Okay, maybe a little. Fine, a lot, but still, there is more to these stories. They seem supernatural, but they aren't really. They are very real. And although they might not manifest fully in real life, the message is clear: when was the last time we accepted each other for who we truly were? And yes, that includes our faults and mistakes, too.The Real Fun BeginsYou might say at this point that it's all very nice, but where is the real fun? And you are right. So here's the deal: because I love anything supernatural (and hot, kinky sex), I'm going to start creating stories about hot, kinky, supernatural sex - soon. In fact, sooner than that. I already have a story in the making, one that's sexy as hell. Oh, yes, I did become inspired by half-demons, although my story will take it up a notch. How about the Ruler of the Underworld seeking a sexual encounter with a gorgeous woman? Well, not going to tell you too much about this one yet (nor about the one I'm writing on dragon shifters).Ah, yes, dragons, the ultimate point of this blog post. Dragons, they are exquisite creatures, ones I adore for some mystical reason. And they are also the ones that made me consider this widely popular genre. Maybe the calling was there all along, I just didn't listen. I'm getting goosebumps thinking about it. I guess I just needed to find a species that's close to my heart. Bears and pandas are still not my thing, nor are panthers or werewolves. But dragons, on the other hand...Oh, Yes, Dragons!I think ever since I was a child and watched Disney's Sleeping Beauty, I was screaming in ecstasy, pointing at the mighty dragon, telling my mum I wanted one of those. She just smiled and shook her head, then I got a plush animal - and of course, it turned out that the dragon died in the cartoon, being the evil villain n all. Now I must say that my plush did not look like a real dragon. Not at all. I did grow up though, but never forgot my obsession. And then a few years later, voila, there came a lot of dragon movies, much to my delight. And then Game of Thrones, and I 'learned' that you could have your very own dragon. All you needed to be, well.. The Queen of the Dragons. But what if that wasn't the only way?Hmm, this made me thinking. I put two and two together, did the math and came up with the solution. If I want my perfect dragon, I have to create it. And, as it stands, I don't have to choose between a sinfully hot guy (with probably shoulder-length hair and piercing blue eyes) and a real dragon, thanks to this new trend. Because he can be both. A dragon shifter. Sounds like paradise, right? I think so too. So, this sealed the deal for me, and I'm off to work on him for a little while. Or a lot. Or for eternity. Yeah, that sounds even better. But don't worry, I'm not selfish. I will share him with you. Soon...ConclusionSo, all in all, shifters are dangerous, dark, corrupted and hot. They reflect our inner darkness, something that everyone tries to hide deep inside. These stories are about ultimate trust and sacrifice, and the search for one's true identity and purpose in life (or in the afterlife). Taming the beast has never been more true. No wonder Beauty and the Beast got reproduced as well (and became such a huge success). As I said, I didn't think these were my cup of tea, until I really looked into what they are all about. I'm still no expert, but once I'm passionate about something, I won't let it go (not sure whether that's a good thing or not, haha). But anyway, dragons are my shifters, and I will certainly be experimenting with them for a while. After all, who said that the paranormal can't be infused with hot, kinky sex?But anyway, that's me. What is your favorite shifter type and why?Love,Timea x

A Book I Couldn't Put Down
That Feeling...Do you know that feeling, when you start reading a book, one that has a lot of potential, and end up gulping it down in one go, just like you would a nice and refreshing drink? Once you got your paws on it, there is no stopping you, not anymore. A bomb can explode, and you couldn't care less. You just keep reading, and reading and reading... The characters draw you in, and the plot doesn't let you go, even long after you finish reading them.Books like that are very rare though, and you never know which one will turn out to be your new Bible, your go-to story, your safe haven. Some start in a very alluring way, and end up being the same as all the others. I know people say that you shouldn't judge (and choose) a book by it's cover, but I tend to avoid those that are twelve a dozen. If you think about it, when was the last time you read an erotic story that didn't have a half-naked man or woman (or both, or two men or two women, etc) on the front cover? They were either making out, or the woman's leg was lifted up halfway, oh, and of course you saw her cleavage alright and his six-pack. Sure, these things are sexy, and can make your decision easier. But what happens when all of them look the same?Even your favorite chocolate gets boring after some time, doesn't it? I must admit, I give in to temptation sometimes, but honestly, when I'm looking for a quality read, I tend to avoid the six-pack-abs and gorgeous redheads. There is something sexy and alluring in those covers, true, but also something that shouts 'boring' and 'yet another cliche'. I might be wrong, of course, and as people tend to buy these, no matter how many times they saw the same picture on other covers, I do use them myself - with a little twist. But I will talk about that in a later post.A Book I Couldn't Put Down...Where was I? Apologies, I tend to get distracted (as you are probably aware by now). As I said, different covers and books are very rare. But then when you find one, it makes all the others fade away, and the wait proves to be worth it. The past few weeks I stumbled upon many mediocre stories unfortunately, and then finally came across a real gem. I will tell you about the ones that didn't make their way into my heart and didn't leave their mark on my soul in another post. I want to dedicate this one to the amazing (and sizzling hot) story I stumbled upon a few days ago.The cover does show a woman (but she isn't naked!), but it also shows a haunted house. I also love the colors, and the promise it holds (caution, mysterious and dangerous). And boy, did it live up to that expectation? Oh, hell yeah. Did I just say hell? Hmm. Keep reading, you might find that part funny in a bit...I'm not sure whether you read anything fromJ.L. Weilyet, but if not, and you are into Paranormal Romance with a little (well, a lot) of sexual tension, then I can highly recommend her. She has a lovely style, one that will keep you on your toes (or on the edge of your seat). And yes, those knickers won't stay dry, that's for sure. A side-note for my male readers: the female protagonist is a kick-ass character, one who plays video games - and yet I wouldn't call her a nerd (I could totally relate, because I had (have?) my fair share of fantasy games myself. The book I found wasSaving Angel, which is the first part in the Divisa series. Although I didn't realize that time that it was written for a younger audience (which I'm probably too old for, but what the heck?), I was utterly surprised and shocked at the way she played with words. And it doesn't mean that it lacks sexual content, on the contrary! Oh, my, just how many sparks can one book include, especially when there is no actual sexual intercourse in it? Well, a lot, trust me.The protagonist's reactions are priceless, and the characters are sinfully hot! It's a delicious book really, one that I kept drooling over (no kidding). One minute I was laughing loudly (very loudly, in fact, I'm sure my neighbors think I'm crazy), then the next I was drooling over the male specimen the Author called Chase. A half-demon, half-human phenomenon, who is of course there to protect Angel, the protagonist - at all cost. Except, she doesn't want his help, thus creating a palpable tension between them. She has a lot to figure out, and at the very beginning we get to have a look into her troubled past. They are but two broken souls finding their way into each other's arms (and bed, I hope, at least in book 2).I love it when someone comes out with a witty title and names, and I especially liked the angel-demon contrast. It was also different from all the vampire novels you can read nowadays (not that I have a problem with those, either). But I don't want to ruin the fun for you, so I probably shouldn't say too much, only that I read it in a few hours (ignoring my other duties in the process, I must admit). And although there is no actual sex in the first part, the promise is there.Oh, God, is it...Basically the whole book is about sexual tension. One minute they jump each others bones, then next they go back to hating each other's guts. Both are insecure, and can't believe that they are worthy of love. And yet they are both so lovable! There is just something about love-hate relationships that makes you roll your eyes, doesn't it? But at the same time it also makes you root for the characters.Well, off I go now to root for Chase and Angel, and hopefully I will be reading about some hot, kinky sex soon (can I like right now, please?). If not, I might just have to write my own fan-fiction, haha. Don't take my word for it, check it out for yourselves, and you will see what I'm talking about ;)You can get the story here. Enjoy! The Blurb...I wondered what my life would be like if we had never moved to the ho-dunk town of Spring Valley, Illinois. Sure the internet service was splotchy, there was nothing but miles of wheat fields, and I probably wouldn’t be faced with death at every corner. My only neighbor in this god forsaken town was…well there really was only one to describe him, hot as hell. With his sinful dark looks, unusually silver eyes, and kissable lips, there was something about him that was more than meets the eye.Of course I was determined to find out.Chase Winters might be drool-worthy, but he was also insufferable, arrogant and…in short a d-bag. Our relationship was anything but love at first sight. Not even close. There was something weird about the family living next door. What I hadn’t expected to find was an underworld of trouble.Chase and his cousins Lexi and Travis are Divisa, half-demon, half-human. Getting them angry was hardly in my best interest, not if I wanted to live.As it turned out, that might be the least of my problems. I’ve been tagged by hell. Now every ugly, nasty being from hades was on my trail. I have suddenly became a magnet for demon disaster, and the only way I am getting out of this alive was by putting my life in the demon spawn’s hands. One wrong decision and my butt was toast.

How To Get Naughty With A Dishy Plumber?
The ConceptOkay, so you see the theme so many times in certain x-rated movies (i.e. porn), that it can easily be called a cliché. What else could a plumber (or any other engineer, e.g. electrician, handyman etc) do, other than fix your house? Well, fix you up with something tasty and pleasurable, of course. At least according to directors, that is (and writers, but I will get to that shortly). Not entirely sure what triggered the original concept, but movies certainly make this kind of thing sound like what every desperate housewife would die to experience. You are all alone, your hubby has gone to work, and you are waiting for the plumber patiently, pulling on your little negligée timidly (the one that of course only covers the upper part of your shapely thigh - at most). The man arrives on time, takes out his equipment (no, notthatone just yet) and begins to work, lying on the floor. Quite conveniently, he asks for a cup of coffee, so you have an excuse to linger there for a tad bit longer than otherwise would be necessary. A little bit of stretching here, a loose button there, and voila, your delicate body is exposed in front of the dishy (and hunk, obviously - duh) worker, and the two of you end up having hot, kinky sex on the kitchen floor. No questions asked, because it is obvious for him that you are desperate for hot, kinky sex - and it is no doubt that he can't wait, either, judging by the growing bulge in his pants. He has a husky voice, by the way, and all he ever wanted was to place his filthy paws on your bum. A perfect way to get down and dirty, you say?Well, I didn't think so at first, until the moment I found a way to make it into a story that didn't sound that cliché to me. I took an example (a very personal example) from reality and built on that instead. Because, what actually happens is most probably the following scenario: you book the engineer, and you wait patiently, while your husband snores loudly beside you, having come home from a long shift at work and just taking an afternoon nap. And then, after a few hours you begin to lose that patience and you debate whether you should call to check on the guy. And then when you do, there is no answer. Has he forgotten? Or is it your fault, having booked him for another day and you just don't remember? Then you call again, a bit more agitated than you were two minutes before. Why isn't he picking up? And then he finally does, he does so just to tell you he will be another two hours late. Sounds familiar?Thought so. Of course, not all of them are like that, but it happened to me enough times (well, not the snoring hubby part, but the excruciating wait per se) to give me the basic idea for the story. Because there are so many ways you can pass that time (oh, why haven't this occurred to me before?) . And in my story,Seducing The Plumber 1: Sweet Time Waiting, I play with one of those ways (pun intended).A little taste, so that you can see what I' talking about (and if you haven't guessed already, the story gets exciting way before the plumber arrives).Sweet Time Waiting...A desperate housewife's journey from being desperate for hot, kinky sex, to actually getting it - from the plumber. But a lot can happen before that can happen - both to her, and to the plumber. She finds out that waiting an extra hour or two isn't such a bad idea. Especially because she has an item or two she can use to entertain herself, taking her sweet time waiting (and masturbating)...Related post: Her First Secret (Or rather MY First Secret)~o~“I will be another two hours. I hope that’s okay?”No apologies, just that. Two more hours. What the fuck am I supposed to say to that? Even if I object, he won’t come sooner, so what’s the point? I let out an exasperated (and somewhat furious) sigh, so that the person on the other end of the line can’t tell how frustrated I am.“Sure, no problem. Just buzz me up when you are here.”“Sure thing. See you then.”I hang up, slamming the receiver down a tad bit louder than I intended to. Two more hours? Seriously? And he didn’t even apologize for wasting my time. I glance over at my husband, who is sleeping peacefully in our bed. That’s just great, I can’t even nudge him to help me have some fun. Not that sex would be the first thing on my mind while waiting for the plumber, but it’s not like I have anything better to do anyway. He was supposed to be here twenty minutes ago, and I had taken the day off just so the guy could fix the leakage in our bathroom. Eddie, my husband works nights, while sleeping during the day, so it was obvious what I had to do. Having to listen to him snoring all day is bad enough, and now this. I was hoping that at least I could go out on a nice walk. But now I’m stuck for another two hours.Angry and frustrated, I go into the bathroom and look at the damage. Okay, it isn’t that serious, but it needs to be fixed. And besides, I have better things to do than… Better things? Like what exactly? I am turning forty next month, and I have been married for ten years now. Is it really these two hours that bug me? Or am I devastated because I feel like I wasted the past ten years of my life? You can get a kindle / paperback copyhere.Related Post: Blue Highlights - More than just a HaircutThere's More...I must admit, I did leave the naughty bits out of this sample, but trust me, the entire story does not lack hot, kinky em... Oh, and also forgetting about her hubby, who is snoring next door... Not to mention the part when she finds a quite unconventional toy she enjoys (maybe more than she ever enjoyed anything else). Some of my readers said they would have to go to the grocery store upon reading this little piece (to get hold of some supplies). And I smiled proudly at that, grinning like a Cheshire Cat. That's that. If you want to know just what she (and probably some of my readers) used, check the story out, I don't want to include more spoilers ;)Oh, and I'm planning further parts. In fact, the second part is coming out this week. Stay tuned to find out what (or rather who) kept our dishy plumber tied up (quite literally). The story continues, and this time it's still the ladies' turn to take over the rein and hop in the saddle.I really liked this short erotic story myself, and the cover is one of my favorites. But then again, anytime I create something new, it becomes my favorite, then I realize (almost instantly) that I love them all equally. I heard many authors say that their stories / characters were like their own children to them, and I can't agree more. And just like a parent likes to know how their child did at school, on a competition, or anywhere else really, so do I appreciate any kind of feedback. After that, I will send you a 'congratulations, you won' email (obviously in a more creative way) and you will have till the 15th of May to respond and 'claim' your prize (just briefly say hello and reply with the requested details, e.g. name, address, who do you want me to sign the book to, etc). After I receive your reply, it will take 1-2 weeks to deliver (depending on where you live - and of course, how quickly you claim your prize). How many winners will be in April's Giveaway? Two, who will be selected randomly on the 1st of May. Anyone who subscribes before that (even at 11:59 PM on the last day of April) will be eligible. If you are extremely lucky, you might take home both prizes (in which case, there will be one winner, obviously).I won't disclose the full email address of the lucky ones, but will include their first name in the post (if applicable). E.g. if your email address is hornyfellow26@blah-blah.com, then I will say that 'Hey, this month our winner is HornyFellow'. (Don't worry, there won't be any confusion, as pretty much 1-2 hours after the announcement, you should receive an email from me with the requested details). What are the prizes, actually?Oh, yes, almost forgot... So,the first book is(the distant sound of drums)...My Hitch-Hiking Valentine, A Short Erotic Story (not just for Valentine's Day).Partly because this is one of my favorites, but most importantly because it seems to be one of your favorites, too. If you want to read myprevious article about the book and what's behind it, you can do it here.AND...The second (but equally popular) book is:The Bucket List, A Short Erotic Story (Straight). If you want to read myprevious article about the book and what's behind it, you can do it here.Another reason for choosing these two bite-sized steamy (and albeit kinky) erotica pieces was the fact that they both make you question what you thought you knew about common celebrations. A New Year's Eve resolution taking an unexpected turn, just like a blind date for Valentine's Day.ConclusionThis is just a teeny-tiny way of saying a huge thanks guys for reading my posts and stories. It means a lot to me, and please do share this with your book-loving friends (if they are 18+, of course). Thank you, and good luck to you all! And, for those who don't win: don't worry, there will be plenty to go around later. But, if you can't wait, you can always purchase the books via Amazon, as I'm going to host some book signing events as well soon. Oops, that was supposed to be a secret for now. Oh, well, never mind. Now you know (although, they will be in the UK to start with). But who knows, right?Feel free to let me know which books you would like in the Surprise Giveaway for May. I will take every suggestion into consideration. As always, stay tuned, and if any questions, you know where to find me.Love,Timea x

Forgotten - Memory Loss and Naughty Erotica
What happens when you don't remember who you are?You wake up one morning, realizing that a stranger is sleeping in your bed. He claims to be your husband, but you don't recall his face. He is nice and very handsome, but to you, he is just a stranger. You don't even remember the past years, nor who you are or the woman you used to be. Are his memories going to be enough for both of you? And how can you have a future, when you don't have a past? Could your memories come back? Maybe if you touched him, just a tiny part of him, it would all make sense. Because, right now, none of it does...Forgottenis a bittersweet short erotic story about memories, hope, love and faith, and what happens when you lose all of those (and your partner remembers everything). It's an exploration of love, hope and misery. Not for the faint at heart, and certainly not for those who are hoping for a light read without any heartbreak. In this one, you won't find kinky sex (only vanilla), nor will you conquer the world. Sorry, not this time. The story itself is penned in 2,000 words, but I do believe that there is a whole lifetime in it.Behind the story - Inspiration struckThe idea came to me a few years after I watchedThe Vow. I knew that time as well that I would be inspired by the movie at some point in my life. Well, this was that moment. I guess I have always found the concept interesting, and I played a lot with the thought. What if one day you woke up without your memories? There are so many things in life all of us take for granted, up until the very moment those things are taken away. The air we breath, the land we walk on. Our eyes, ears, legs, our very existence. How many times do we actually stop and feel grateful for everything we have? I know I do it every day. Yes, every single day. I thank the Universe for my life, every single day. And below is the reason why.The more personal reason behind it all...Maybe the topic is so close to me, because I've had glasses since I was three years old. I know it sounds a far fetch at first, but just hear me out. That time my mum didn't know what was wrong with me, I just kept telling her that my eyes were hurting. Which is pretty intense for a three-year-old. She hurried to the nearest hospital with me, and they referred us to a 'specialist'. Oh, he was a specialist, all right. Except not in sorting out my problem. He had one look at me from behind his thick black retro glasses and told my mum that there was no hope for me. His words were along the lines of "we need to operate straight away, but there is no point really, as the child is completely blind". Now, I knew even at that young age that he was wrong. I could see him, although not that clearly. Still, his words were enough to raise panic in both of us. My mum asked if she could stay with me in the hospital, and all she got was a rude 'no way'.I guess I don't have to mention that my mum insisted on getting a second opinion. We left the 'specialist' dumbfounded, as he didn't understand why we wouldn't do as he said. Oh, well, we had more important things to worry about. Like my health, and whydidmy eyes hurt. Believe it or not, on our way home, my mum started crying silently, and if it wasn't for that, my sight probably wouldn't have been saved. One of her friends spotted us straight away, and she asked what was wrong. When my mum told her, she became furious, but also told us about a possible solution. I was referred to a real specialist this time, and it turned out that I did need an operation - although it wasn't as serious as the other 'specialist' insisted.Well, the operation took place when I was 5 and 6, first on one eye, then the other. The first one went really well, but after the second, my eyes turned out to be allergic to the thread the doctors used, so in I went again for an emergency surgery. It was a major scare, but luckily, no permanent damage. Well, apart from the fact that I will always have to wear glasses. Every day, for the rest of my life. But trust me, it was a small price to pay.I've had glasses since that initial examination, when I was only 3. That was 27 years ago, and not much changed. Except for one thing: my eyes. I need new glasses every year. Well, you could say that I'm lucky, because I see (nearly) perfectly with them. And I am. It took me a while to realize just how lucky I was, but I've known it for a long time now. And I also know something else: things could have been worse. So, I give thanks for my eyesight every day, and that's always been something I didn't take for granted. And hence my parallel to memories. In a way, they are similar. Just like my eyesight, memories can be taken away any minute, too. Just think about Alzheimer's disease or major injuries that effect the brain. Apologies if this post turned out to be a tad bit sad, but life isn't full of butterflies and unicorns (at least not all the time). And, just like my real life story,Forgottenis bittersweet, too. And maybe that's why it is so close to my heart, maybe even more than any other one I have published so far.Because it could happen to any one of us, anytime. Caution, it isn't kinky, nor steamy, although it is erotic. However, despite my usual tendency to explore one's hidden desires, this time it's about exploring one's true identity and lost sexuality. In a kind of vanilla way. So, please don't expect kinky sex scenes, but rather sweet and innocent seduction and timid attempts. But trust me, the overall experience will be just as epic, and it will probably talk to other important parts of your body (like your mind, heart and soul). Of course, all of that told my way.An Excerpt from the actual story“You still don’t remember, do you?”I shake my head again, painfully aware of my lack of clothing. Apparently, I like to sleep naked. And I don’t sleep alone. I just wish I remembered. Cole did say that I went in for a simple check-up, ended up in an emergency operation, and then I was in a coma. I had high fever, and my body was giving up, and nobody knew why. And then all of a sudden I was back, only my memories were gone. I guess I should feel lucky, but the thought that I forgot such a loving man breaks my heart. Not to mention the fact that most of my life is also missing.“Cole, can I ask you something?”I fiddle with the blanket, pulling it back over me, despite the heat. God, I don’t even know if it’s summer or the winter heating that has me sweating. Surely my husband has something to do with it, too. The one I don’t remember. But, according to him, we have been married for six years.“Sure, shoot.”“How did we meet?”His eyebrow shoots up, and I can see the pain my question brought into his hazel eyes. A trip down memory lane might not be such a good idea for him right now, but I need to know. How could I build a future, if I don’t have a past?

Want to hear a Secret?
At the beginning...Hi, it's me again. Did you miss me? I certainly missed you, guys. Okay, I might not have been gone for long, but it certainly seemed like it. Especially because we are closer to the release of the fourth book in my Paranormal Romance series,'Her First and Last Secret Admirer'. 'Their Last Secret' turned out to be a bit more cryptic than I originally planned, but eventually all pieces popped into place - just like a huge puzzle. Except this time it was a puzzle in the making for a very long time.In fact, I was 16 when the original dreams started, the ones that gave me the basic idea of the story. If you read the second chapter of'Her First Secret', you will know what I'm talking about, I would rather not include any spoilers just yet. But the truth is that the dream was a recurring one I had that time. And a strange one at that. But it wasn't until 11 years later that I started to write it all down. That was two years ago, and now the story is complete. Those of you, who read my interview, will know how difficult it is for me to let go of my characters (for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, here's the link:My First Author Interview). For those of you, who aren't familiar with the story (yet), here's a taste:Her First SecretI do believe that our dreams form who we really are and can also give us an insight into who we were before. Therefore my book explores the amazing world of dreams of a past that is long forgotten and can only be grasped by those gifted few. I don't believe in coincidences, neither does my protagonist. She dreams about events that happened approximately 500 years ago, but it isn't until history repeats itself and she meets the man of her dreams (quite literally) that she begins to wonder whether those are just dreams, or rather memories.A mysterious stranger keeps sending her messages, thus jolting her back to reality. He seems to know everything about her, but she doesn't know anything about him. But what's more interesting is the fact thathedreams, too. About the same things, at the same time.Together they try to find the meaning of it all, while an unknown threat is lurking in the shadows, waiting for them to remember. So that he can take revenge for what they did to him 500 years ago. All they want is a happy ending, but it seems like they are only at the beginning of a roller-coaster ride of pain, suffering, passion, love and mystery. And then there are those inexplicable dreams...Lia and Lorian, the two ProtagonistsPeople who read my stories say that I have a unique style, and that they could associate themselves with my protagonists - which is something I had in mind when creating the book. The story itself consists of four books (30,000-35,000 words each). The titles are'Her First Secret','Her Secret Admirer','His Secret Love'and 'Their Last Secret', with a series title of 'Her First and Last Secret Admirer'.The first two books are written from the female protagonist's point of view (Lia), while the third book is the story of the male protagonist (Lorian). They tell the end (or the new beginning) of their story in the last book together.I like to believe that my story isn't black and white, and I wouldn't call it an easy read. My first male reader said that he was "pleasantly surprised, as it was much more than a simple chick-lit, it had so much depth".Both protagonists make the readers question ideals they have believed in for centuries, not to mention that they sometimes have questionable motives and desires themselves. Nobody is perfect, and some of my readers say that they love my characters' imperfections the most. It is what makes them more human, and their dreams are what makes them special. The End...But anyway, the time has come, and it came quickly. I am going to let go of both Lia and Lorian, so that they can live their lives in peace.Or not. I guess we will just have to see about that, won't we? 'Their Last Secret' is coming out beginning of May 2017 (yay!). I can't wait to know what you think about the conclusion to the saga. I will be posting some teasers later, so stay tuned ;)No sweat, there is more to comeI know you loved them, and so did I! But nothing lasts for ever, right? Well, I do have good news for lovers of paranormal romance. My next full-length book will be about witches, magic and everything supernatural. Of course, it will take a while (sadly). I do promise though that it won't take me as long as the first series, haha. But no sweat, even until then I will keep bombarding you with steamy (and occasionally funny) erotic short stories, to make up for the wait. Sounds good? And who knows, maybe, just maybe even Lia and Lorian's adventures will continue. In another lifetime perhaps.Got to rush now, hope you all enjoy your weekend and get up to some fun (naughty or not). If you have a moment, please like, share, comment. Your feedback is always much appreciated.Love,Timea x
