A new Shopping page
I finally (after what -- 28 books?) came up with a way to organize all my books and buying information. Just click on the Shopping tab and you'll see links to all my books, with book blurbs and buying info.
As time goes on, I may expand each page and give you some nitty gritty about the books themselves, like how I came up with the characters, where I got the idea, etc.
But for now, it was enough to just get the pages all created and posted. Check it out!

And back from Denver, where I had a most excellent time
I had a great time at RomCon 2013 -- this was one conference where fans outnumbered the authors, and it was a blast to hang out with readers.
Hats off to the RomCon Divas -- they did a great job!

Heading out for another conference: Denver, here I come!
I'll be heading to Colorado Springs in 10 days to participate in the RomCon Writer Conference. If you're in the area, stop on by that weekend.
I'll spend Thursday and part of Friday with family in the area, then speed down to the conference on Friday afternoon then fly out of Denver on Sunday. Yes, another whirlwind visit, but when you work full-time, that's how it has to be.
I'm busily at work on a new book (Dogged) and I hope to have Woulds releasing by the end of the year. I also have another book sitting with my editor at Wild Rose, and I hope they're going to pick it up.
So -- busy times ahead, as always!

And a busy summer is shaping up ...
I was in Kansas City at the RT conference earlier this month, and in a day or so I'm off to L.A. to spend time with my family. Then it's home for a week or two then off to Denver, to spend time with another part of the family and go to a conference.
So this web site will languish a bit in the next few weeks. Sorry about that! Enjoy your summer. ☺

What's happening with me?
I am struggling, poor me. I'm not back on track yet with my writing. I need to get back in the groove and get a schedule going, but I just haven't been able to do it.
I am hoping (hoping!) that I'm getting momentum again. If I could just find the time to write! Seems like every time I sit down to write, something comes up.
Well, here's a promise to myself. I'm going to have a big chunk of my current WIP done by July 4th. That gives me about 75 days to get my butt in gear and get cracking.
Let's see if I do it...

A new book!

Finally, finally, finally, this book is out.
I'm not sure why, but this one had a tough birthing process.
Writing it was tough (it's complicated, with inter-twining plot lines from different decades, plus lots of characters).
Dealing with edits was tough. I had to rewrite portions of the manuscript to make the plot more cohesive.
Formatting it was tough. Oh, the innards got formatted okay, but the cover gave me fits. And I had to revisit all the web sites where I post books for sale and that meant revisiting all my passwords and ...
But anyway, it's here, on Kindle for a month or so, then out there for the rest of the world.
Enjoy the story of Mike Braddock, an actor who goes undercover as a woman to right an old wrong.

Doing the crazy Happy Dance!
February is over, and with it, a lot of angst is behind me.
Celebrate with me!
Now if only my book will be accepted... fingers crossed!

Many irons in the fire
Yep, February is turning out to be a challenging month.
That's an understatement. I had a funeral at the first of the month for a dear friend who passed away.
I had a root canal earlier this week and the damn tooth still hurts.
I have the Road Trip From Hell coming up next week. Hope for the best, but expect the worst, is my motto (or the wurst, if hot dogs are involved).
I just shipped off a manuscript to my editor and am hoping it will be taken. I'm working on revisions to an ms I *thought* was done, but no, I'm finding boo-boos.
And I'm finding it very hard to find time to work on my book that I really WANTED to have done by spring.
Okay. Deep breath.
Once I get past February, it's a piece of cake from here on in. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Wrapping up my 6th year in publishing
Hard to believe but yes,in 2006 I signed my first contract and in 2007 I had 3 books release. And it's been a whirlwind since then!
Here's to 2013 and the books that are coming ... I know of 3 for sure, and if I can get my butt in gear, there will be more -- oh, yes, more!
Let's all hope the Mayans are wrong and we're around to celebrate the New Year -- enjoy!

Why I'm not here often
I work full-time, like 40-50 hours a week. I also write 2 or 3 books a year. And I have a social life. So I don't have much time to hang out online.
