A bit belabored While I liked most of the characters, I found much of the narrative repititious. I do enjoy a good fake engaement story, though, and this one had interesting twists.

Will there be more? I so hope there will be! I love these characters and their abilities to get to truths and justice! I love the children and all the secondary characters, the settings, and the romantic plot as well as the mystery plot.

Hi, and apologies for being late replying!

The first 3 books - the Oldest City Vampire trilogy - are set in st. Aug. I do adore living here! The cozy mystery series - the Silver Six Crafting Mysteries - are set in southwest Ark. For 3 reasons, but the biggie is that it refused to be set anywhere else.

If you even get back this way, let me know! If you have time, I'd love to buy you coffee or lunch, or whatever you might have time for.
