Never too late

It is never too late to be who you truly are.

And it is also never too early.

Who you truly are does not care about time.

Imagination

Imagination is the ultimate reality. It is all imagination. Yet you can either be the protagonist or the victim of imagination. If you are the protagonist you can imagine whatever you want. If you are the victim you can only imagine what others want you to imagine. Yet the main difference is that if you are the protagonist imagination looks like imagination and may or may not look real, while if you are the victim imagination does not look like imagination and definitely looks real.

Darkness

Darkness has been created to hide what causes fear and embarrassment to the light. As long as you run away from what causes fear and embarrassment you will not understand neither darkness, nor light. In short you will be completely in the dark.

Course in multidimensional astrology by Skype

Participation in the course does not require previous knowledge of astrology, while for those who are already fluent in astrology the course provides a multidimensional and shamanic perspective which may constitute a completely new understanding and experience of the topic.

The course is open only to trainees and previous participants in astroshamanic workshops or sessions with Franco. Those who do not fulfil this requirement need first to arrange an astroshamanic consultation or take part in a workshop, before signing in.

The course consists of five sessions of two hours each. The first session is introductory.

8-9-10 December 2017, Merizzo (Massa), An inner and outer journey into your natal chart: experiential astrology and shamanism, with Franco Santoro.

This workshop is an intensive course on astrology for participants interested to apply astrology for spiritual and personal growth, in the counselling and shamanic arts, and for discovering and manifesting their potential. The workshop consists of three days, which can also be attended independently.

The course teaches the basic tools of experiential astrology as applied to astroshamanism. The workshop provides a thorough experiential introduction to astrology and its healing applications, with visionary explorations of the natal chart and the starry sky, understanding of the basic elements of the astroshamanic binary system. We will employ the astroshamanic circle on the floor to directly experience the essential individual features of the birth chart and reconnect them with the collective planetary rhythms. The aim is to employ experiential astrology to support major processes of transformation, discovering, acknowledging and implementing appropriate and beneficial uses for our healing resources and talents. By examining the essential astrological grammar we will learn simple and effective ways to employ astrological information and use it to enrich and support healing work.

In these worshops your will learn:

1) the basic astrological language from a multidimensional perspective and how to apply in your everyday experiential life

2) the use of the astrological circle on the floor

3) the lunar cycle and the 144 combinations of Sun/Moon and how to monitor energy trends in your life and the environment

How to get to Il Casale:

By car: take A15 (Autostrada della Cisa) Parma/La Spezia, exit at Pontremoli if you come from the North, or Aulla if from the South. Continue to Villafranca in Lunigiana, then to Merizzo (5,20 km). Once in Merizzo, use as reference the Church of the Archangel Michael. 50 metres after the church turn left at the little parking square then take the only path to the left. After one km you will receive our parking.

By train: you can arrive to Villafranca/Bagnone railway station with the line Milan-Livorno or La Spezia-Parma. Let us know your time of arrival and we will pick you up.

By plane: the closest airport is Pisa’s Galileo Galilei. Also the airports of Florence and Genoa are close. Bologna and Milan are also convenient.

 

New Moon in Libra

This New Moon takes place at 19:11 GMT on 19 October 2017 in Libra 26°35′. This is the moment when Sun and Moon are exactly conjunct. With the New Moon, or Lunation, an old cycle ends and a new one starts. The sign where the Moon is positioned at the initial New Moon determines the energy and Intent of the entire cycle. With this New Moon in Libra, the lunar cycle will be characterised by Libra topics (relationships, partnerships, co-operation, balance, art, beauty, etc.).

The New Moon’s astrological sign (Libra) strategically embodies both the features of your intention and the way of dealing with the release process of the previous cycle. What is gestated during the New Moon will then be revealed at Full Moon.

New Moons are times of transition when the seed is available, yet it has not taken a distinct form. In this crucial moment intuitions, dreams and special events may offer clues about the form that will develop.

The New Moon is a male phase, with initiation and activity being prevalent. It carries a new awareness and a shift of perspective. This allows space for setting the Intent and foundations of new projects and the release of old cycles. Since the whole scenario is obscure, it is also a time of vulnerability and uncertainty. This strongly encourages refraining from relevant enterprises or initiatives in the outer world. It is an ideal moment to relate with one’s multidimensional self, or Guide, to take some rest and reflect upon the lessons of life, to release what is no longer needed.

A most basic question at all levels and especially in the realm of relationships is:

Who am I?

Or in other words:

Who and what is truly relating in my relationship?

On a New Moon questions require honest answers, which are not conditioned by general or cultural ideas, and strictly refer to one’s own uncontaminated awareness.

Honestly, finding an answer to the above question may require more than a life-time, though a provisional and legitimate answer may be: “I don’t have any clue”, or “I don’t know, yet I am determined to find it out”, or “Perhaps it is….”, or “According to … it is …”

There are more questions to follow, yet they all depend upon the answer to the above question. It is entirely up to you whether to move to the next questions or stay with the original question until you get a satisfying answer. Whatever the case, whether you move on out of achieved clarity or impatience, it is advisable to return to the first question from time to time.

Hence, if you have chosen to stay with the first question, you can stop reading this note now, otherwise you can move on to further questions, though I take the liberty not to recommend it.

Further questions may be:

What is the true purpose of my current relationships?

What sources support this purpose?

In which way can my relationships contribute to the human and natural environment?

What talents are generated from my relationships and how can I use them in the present?

What grievances are produced from my relationships and how can I heal them?

Am I merely projecting on my relationships, falling in love with them, or the other way around, or am I loving them?

What does it mean to love them?

Do I fall in love or do I love?

“Falling in love” is literally loving a part of oneself which the projection process places on the screen of another being. This displacement and reception of a part of one’s being causes the bliss of love, if the other willingly receives and responds to it, or the pain of love, if the other rejects or only partially accepts the projection. “Falling in love” makes demands on the other, willing or unwilling. “Loving”, on the other hand, is free and giving; it requires nothing in return, has no expectations, accepts the other without judgment or reservation, and wants only that which can be freely and willingly given out of the other’s Self. The relationships where “falling in love” turns into “loving” as the initial projection wanes are those that endure with the greatest depth and beauty. (Edwin C. The degree of the New Moon, or Lunation point, indicate an area of life that will operate as Intent and driving force during the next cycle.

This New Moon is the binary 7.7, a climax of cardinal air. At its core level Libra concerns the search and finding of the primary relationship and the original Intent of the interaction among human beings. Here you have the chance of voyaging into time and space, experiencing and healing most ancient mythic recollection, revisiting ancestral lineages, releasing blocked energies and gaining understanding about the Intent that truly motivates your partnerships.

Full Moon in Aries

This Full Moon takes place on 5 October 2017 at 18:40 GMT and confronts us with the opportunity to embrace and integrate both conflict and harmony, individuality and relationship, separation and unity.

The Sun in Libra and the Moon in Aries, combine balance and cooperation with self-assertiveness and courage. One of the lessons here is learning when to affirm oneself and when to negotiate, when to be alone and with others.

This Full Moon is about accepting both closeness and distance, intimacy and detachment, being together and alone. It shows us that we can be in an intimate relationship with others only if we accept to connect closely with ourselves, if we can be alone.

We are always alone (all one). We came into this world alone and we will leave alone. And throughout all life, no matter how we engage in relationships, we keep being alone.

A love relationship is not about somebody being the other half and needing them so as to be complete. This is mutilation, not love!

Love is being both a whole, accepting to be alone and together. Only when you can be alone with someone there is true love, regardless of whether this aloneness is accepted by the other or not.

As Osho says “Love is not an escape from loneliness, it is an overflowing aloneness. One is so happy in being alone that one would like to share – happiness always wants to share. It is too much, it cannot be contained; like the flower cannot contain its fragrance, it has to be released.”

The first six signs of the zodiac, Aries through Virgo, are related with the development of the ego and the individual self. Their nature is subjective and focused on the relationship with oneself, in which rapports with the outer world are oriented and understood solely according to one’s individual intention.

Libra marks a major shift and the inauguration of the cycle involving the second six signs of the zodiac. These signs are focused on the integration with the outer world, and more esoterically with one’s shadow, the non-ordinary, included death, with the aim of expanding the edges of the individual conscious self.

Libra is the initiator of this second half and moves the first step towards the other, which usually entails the most basic form of human interaction, i.e. partnership or marriage, which at an esoteric level correspond to a first step into initiatory death. The major challenge here for Libra is keeping the balance between the individual self-focused self (Aries) and the social couple-oriented self, inner and outer world, conscious and unconscious, life and death, ego and shadow.

Libra shifts the focus from individual to collective, ordinary to non-ordinary and, while this promotes healing and expansion of awareness, the risk is to lose the connection with the preceding inner-focused path and its original intention, due to the excessive attention given to what emerges in the relationships with others or the non-ordinary.

This stage, when taken too far, is typically followed by a reawakening of the previous individual’s intention, which usually results in relationships, or the non-ordinary, being identified as the cause of the preceding loss and a reversal of the process from collective to individual, non-ordinary to non-ordinary. The process will then be overturned again once it reaches its unbalanced climax, and so this continues to go on from one excess to the other, fomenting the struggle of polarities upon which the ego’s separated reality is based.

This Full Moon is about acknowledging both processes, holding both polarities, and allowing the emergence of a mid-point, a Third Party, which allows the two to exist simultaneously.

Adorcism workshop

4-5 November 2017, Merizzo (Massa), Adorcism: The Astroshamanic Way of Scorpio, with Franco Santoro.

The term adorcism defines healing practices used to accommodate entities with a positive intention in places and people. Adorcism implies establishing an open attitude towards what is perceived as negative and antagonistic, in order to understand its real nature. According to this perspective each process of transformation requires a catarthic stage, which involves the release or death of an old part, so as to promote the birth of a new part. In this workshop we explore the shadow side of our individual and collective nature, allowing it to become a luminous source of awakening, creativity and healing. The event takes place on a Full Moon.
