Stylish and Badass: 6 Double Nose Piercing Ideas
Piercings are some of the most popular fashion statements out there. Though ear piercings used to be the most popular type, those days are long gone. Today, nose piercings are leading in that department, with the double nose piercing being the biggest new trend.
In this article, you can find a short introduction on the double nose piercing, as well as some stylish ideas for inspiration if you want to get one yourself.
Double Nose Piercings: A Crash CourseAs the name suggests, double nose piercings are two tiny piercings that go into your nose, either at different sides of your nose or right next to each other. The piercings can also differ in type based on whether they are on the nares, the septum, or the soft flesh at the bottom of the septum.
The cost of a piercing like this varies. You can expect to pay anywhere from $30 to $90 to get it.
As with any piercings, you can get an infection that can become a more severe condition if not treated right. Thus, it is essential that you go to a trusted and skilled professional to get the piercing done. They will give you all the aftercare info you will need to ensure your piercing looks great and you stay healthy.
Best Double Nose Piercing Ideas1. A Piercing on Each Side[image error]

This combo is the most common type of double nose piercings. If you opt for it, you will get a tiny stud on each side of your nose. It looks cute and classy while not being too in your face.
2. Two Piercings on One Side[image error]

You can also get your piercings on the same side. They can both go on your nare, or one can go to the bottom of your nostril, based on your preference. This look is badass and chic, and it will make you stand out in any crowd easily.
3. A Double-Ring for a Single Piercing[image error]
Do you want to wear a double piercing but hate the idea of getting pierced twice? Worry not, because there is a way for you to avoid two piercings and still look cool. All you need is a double nose ring. It goes through a single hole in your nostril or septum, but it looks like a double one.
4. Chain Rings[image error]
This idea makes two piercings on each side of your nose much more interesting. Namely, you get two tiny studs (just like in the first idea), but you connect them with a little chain that goes over your nose. And just like that, you get a unique look no one will forget anytime soon.
5. A Hoop and a Stud[image error]
Though studs are the most popular nose piercings, they are classic and might seem too boring to some. If you want to spice up your look, combining a single stud with a hoop on the other nostril is the way to go. You’ll get a timeless combo that will be anything but boring.
6. Studs and Septum Rings[image error]

If you pierce your septum and combine that with a regular nostril stud, you will get a unique double nose piercing you will love. The septum ring can be as flashy as you like, while the stud will keep the whole look classy and chic.
The Best Free Guitar Tuner Apps for Android and iOS
Everyone knows that an out-of-tune instrument is one of the most ear-grating things on the planet. That is why good musicians will always make sure that their instruments stay in tune. Thankfully, tuning your instrument has never been easier — all you need is to download a good tuner app on your phone.
However, there are so many options to choose from that it can be a bit overwhelming. So, to help you out, this article has selected five of the best free guitar tuner apps for Android and iOS.
How Do Tuners Work?In order for a guitar to be in tune, when you pluck a string, it needs to oscillate at a very specific frequency. Tuners analyze the pitch of your instrument by sampling the sound that it makes. That sampling process allows tuners to determine at which frequency the string oscillates. They then display the closest note and how far you are away from it.
App vs. HardwarePhone microphones have improved over the years, so much so that apps can compete with regular guitar tuners.
However, keep in mind that app-based tuners are not good in a noisy environment. These tuners sample sound with the phone’s built-in microphone, which means they will pick up ambient noise that can cause inaccurate results.
If you want to tune your guitar at a noisy gig, outside, or in your practice studio, picking up a regular guitar tuner might be a better option. On the other hand, free guitar tuner apps are a perfect solution for your average bedroom guitarist.
List of Best Free Guitar Tuner AppsBefore we get into the nitty-gritty of which app is the best, you should probably know that all of them will help you tune your guitar just fine. The differences between these top apps are minimal when it comes to actual frequency analysis.
Where apps differ most is in their extra features (number of instruments, scales, etc.) and their visual design.
Therefore, your choice should be based on personal preferences in features, aesthetics, and your level of proficiency.
To that end, we’ve hand-picked these five free guitar tuner apps that will be useful to both beginners and veterans.
1. Airyware Tuner[image error]
If you’re a serious multi-instrumentalist, Airyware Tuner is probably one of the best free guitar tuner apps available.
Why? Because it’s not just a guitar tuner, it can tune over 400 other instruments as well. This includes all of the most common ones, like piano, violin, saxophone, cello, etc., but that’s not all — it also works for more niche instruments like bagpipes!
Airyware also offers numerous advanced features like oscilloscopes, noise-cancellation technology, and tone generators.
Airyware has a perpetual free trial, and there are no limitations on using any of the features. However, you can buy it to support the development team.
2. Pano Tuner[image error]
Simple, beautifully designed, and easy to use — what more could you want from an app? While it doesn’t support as many instruments as Airyware, Pano tops it with its incredibly intuitive design.
Pano Tuner is a standard chromatic tuner, and it’s very accurate when it comes to analysis. The interface is clean and designed to evoke an old-school feeling. The simplicity of the design also makes it beginner-friendly.
Unfortunately, Pano Tuner’s free version has somewhat intrusive advertisements. However, purchasing the app will remove them and unlock a decent amount of non-standard tunings.
3. GuitarTuna[image error]
GuitarTuna is perhaps one of the most famous brands in the tuner business. It boasts over a hundred different tunings, including seven, eight, and twelve-string guitars. In addition, it supports a wide range of folk instruments, anything from the banjo to the mandolin and even the balalaika. On top of that, GuitarTuna has the best noise cancellation tech in the game.
If you like collecting odd and interesting instruments, GuitarTuna has in-app purchases to unlock some very rare ones. Another great feature of the app is its selection of games for learning and practicing.
4. Fender Tune[image error]
Fender Tune, developed by the legendary guitar manufacturers, is an app densely packed with various features. It has four tuning modes (auto, manual, chromatic, and pro), a wide range of tuning presets and instruments, and a clean design.
The free version of this app is amazing as it has no ads.
Furthermore, for a small monthly fee, you can purchase their premium subscription called Tune Plus, which has a vast number of chords, scales, and lessons, as well as a metronome and even built-in customizable drum patterns. In addition, there is a free trial for Tune Plus, which doesn’t even ask for your credit card details beforehand.
So, for free (for a limited time) and with no ads, you can use all of Fender Tune’s amazing features, and if you like them, you can sign up for Tune Plus. It’s hard to find a better deal than that!
5. Guitar Tuner – Chromatic[image error]
If you simply want to tune your guitar without any complicated features getting in the way, you should definitely try Guitar Tuner – Chromatic. This tuner is famous for its accuracy, and it is perfectly simple, or simply perfect? Guitar Tuner Chromatic’s sleek and simple design makes it very easy to just open the app and tune your guitar, without hassle or confusion.
The free version has some advertisements. However, you can pay for the app to remove the ads. There is only one problem with Guitar Tuner Chromatic — unfortunately, it is exclusive to the App Store. So, if you are an Android user, you should probably check out one of the other four apps that we have suggested.
A New Take on Christianity: Do Pets Go to Heaven?
Ever since the dawn of time, humans have had a hard time accepting the inevitability of death. And while death is a natural part of life that nobody can escape from, people are still unable to fully understand it. However, according to the Bible, death is not the end, and it’s a mere transition between Earth and Heaven.
But even though that thought should comfort people, it only makes them ask more questions. In fact, an overwhelming number of people are wondering one single thing: do pets go to heaven? Let’s find out!
What Is Heaven?Generally speaking, Heaven, or Paradise, is the place where beings such as gods, saints, angels, come from and currently reside. Yet, every religion has a different take on Heaven, with some seeing it as a real place while others consider it a state of mind. Nevertheless, the importance of heaven is similar amongst all religions.
When it comes to Christianity, Heaven is the final goal of humans, who were thrown out by God after disobeying his rules. In order to reach heaven, humans have to live godly lives and accept Jesus as their savior. However, anyone can end up in heaven as long as they understand the extent of their sins and take steps to repent.
What Does Heaven Look Like?Trying to comprehend what Heaven looks like is almost impossible, mainly because no human has ever returned to describe it. Even so, the Bible gives hints in regard to the look and feel of Heaven.
More specifically, according to the Book of Revelation, Heaven is a place where the streets are paved with gold, the gates are made of pearls and the walls are made using precious jewels.
Who Will You Meet in Heaven?[image error]
Although the Bible briefly describes how Heaven looks, it doesn’t go into much detail about whom you can meet once you get there. As a result, humans have developed their own interpretations of heaven, some of which are more bizarre than others.
However, there are a few common themes amongst all interpretations of heaven, regardless of culture or religion.
Friends and FamilyHeaven is supposed to be the final destination for humans, meaning that it will be filled with your deceased loved ones. From family members to close friends, you will be able to meet with any of them. And, best of all, you’ll have an eternity to catch up and talk about what’s new on Earth.
Angels and SaintsAs previously mentioned, heaven is the place where angels and saints currently live. So, it’s not far-fetched to believe that you will meet them once you get there. And while it’s hard to imagine what a conversation with an angel would be like, it’s safe to say that it would be fascinating and engaging.
Personal HeavenSome people believe that everybody has their own heaven designed based on their preferences. For example, your heaven might be a repeat of that day when you went out fishing with your dad. Therefore, you will only meet the people that you love and truly want to see again.
Do Pets Go To Heaven?[image error]
Since there is still a lot of mystery surrounding how Heaven works, it’s impossible to know for sure what happens to pets when they die. But that didn’t stop people from researching and trying to find out more about how Heaven works for pets.
From the Bible to religious leaders, people have been looking everywhere for a bit of hope in regard to their pets.
What Does The Bible Say About It?According to the Bible, there are animals in Heaven. More specifically, Isaiah 11:6 describes several types of animals living in peace with one another.
And, if God created animals for the Garden of Eden when building his ideal place, he surely included them in Heaven. As a result, it’s not too hard to imagine that your pets could end up in Heaven and enjoy an eternity playing with other animals.
What Do Religious Leaders Think About a Heaven for Pets?Religious leaders, such as the Pope, are known to have a special connection with God and Heaven. Therefore, they are some of the few people that can accurately describe God’s plan for your pets.
For example, Pope Paul VI has reportedly said that one day, people will see their pets in the eternity of Christ. Similarly, Martin Luther, the founder of the Lutheran church, once stated that in Paradise, there is complete harmony between man and animals. So, there shouldn’t be any doubt about whether animals can enter heaven.
Why Do Some People Want to Meet Their Pets in Heaven?Let’s be honest — pets are an essential part of everyone’s life. Thus, it’s no wonder why people would want to meet their pets in heaven and spend an eternity with them. Even so, there are other reasons that could compel people to hope for a reunion with their companion. Here are just a few of them:
Companionship: Although Heaven is filled with friends and family members, some people prefer the companionship of animals. Without your trusty companion, you might feel lonely even when surrounded by millions of people.Comfort: The unknown has always scared people and that’s why most of them fear death. Having your companion by your side as you navigate Heaven, on the other hand, can assist you in adjusting to your new surroundings and accepting your death.Friendship: Few friendships can measure up to the one between a pet and its owner. Therefore, most people will want to bring their lifelong friends with them to the next stage of their existence. Can I Know If My Pet Will Go to Heaven?[image error]
Even though pets might be allowed in Heaven, there’s still the problem of how they’ll get there. To put it simply, humans can go there after death because they were created in the image of God, meaning that they have a soul.
And, in order to reach Paradise, humans need to repent for their sins. In other words, they need to clean their soul and embrace their higher purpose of standing beside their creator.
Do Pets Have Souls? There’s still a lot of debate regarding pets and if they have a soul or not. The majority of the debate over pets and their place in Heaven, in fact, revolves around the concept of a soul, or, more specifically, the lack of one.
However, while the Bible isn’t too explicit about animal souls, some religious leaders have made a few comments about the issue.
On the one hand, St. John Paul II believed that animals possess a soul and men must love and feel solidarity with their smaller brethren. On the other hand, Dr. Rick Perrin, senior pastor of the Presbyterian Church, has stated that animals are purely physical beings, as they lack souls. Therefore, while there is still a lot of mystery surrounding the souls of animals, most people accept and believe that pets have souls.
Can Pets Sin?No one can argue that animals are unable to understand concepts such as morality and sin. And even though some species are smarter than others, they still can’t comprehend a bigger power such as God or Jesus Christ. As a result, you can’t blame pets for doing whatever they feel like it’s right, even if it goes against the laws of God.
For instance, while you know that stealing is a sin, your pet cat has no idea, so it might steal food from other animals or humans without a second thought. In other words, you can’t really analyze your pet’s morality the same way you do as with a human. So, regardless of their actions, pets may be sin-free and may be able to join you in Heaven.
Can Pets Be Saved? The idea of heaven is linked with concepts such as salvation, redemption, and resurrection. Thus, going to heaven doesn’t happen automatically, and is instead a result of conscious actions that people do. And while the Bible clearly states the requirements for human salvation, it says nothing about animals.
However, that doesn’t mean that your pets can’t be saved. Instead, it may be a sign that pets don’t need to be saved, as they are already sinless. Yet, that isn’t necessarily a confirmation that pets get into Heaven automatically. Rather, it means that the issue of redemption doesn’t apply to animals and isn’t a basis for letting them in or keeping them out.
Do Pets Care?Although some pets are very intelligent, they don’t usually ask deep philosophical questions. In fact, pets live in the now and don’t really think about tomorrow or next week. So, you shouldn’t expect them to question their existence or what follows it. It’s also safe to assume that they don’t care if they end up in Heaven or Hell.
While that might sound a bit harsh, it’s important to understand that pets are not humans. And while that’s true, it doesn’t erase the fact that your pets dedicate their life to make you as happy as possible.
As a result, you should focus on spending time with your companion and making it feel special. Then, you will be happy knowing that your pet had the most beautiful and interesting life it could ever want.

How to Get Rid of Coffee Stains Without Breaking the Bank
Spilling that freshly brewed cup of coffee on your clothes is one of the most disruptive ways to start your day. If this happens to you, you have to find a quick and effective way to remove the coffee stains from your clothes before they become permanently embedded. This article talks about how to get rid of coffee stains.
How Does Coffee Cause Stains? The main reason why coffee’s distinctive brown color leaves stains on surfaces, clothing, carpets, upholstery, cups, and teeth is that it contains tannin. Tannin is a type of substance that causes stains. However, it is not the polyphenolic tannins that cause discoloration themselves, but rather a reaction that causes the pigment to bind to the surrounding molecules.
Tannin binds to protein within the water in your hot drink, creating a new molecule that attracts strongly pigmented compounds known as Chromogens. As the colorant builds up, you will have a nasty brown stain on your clothes, carpet, and other surfaces.
How to Get Rid of Coffee Stains?Removing coffee stains is not a complicated process, provided you have all the necessary ingredients. However, this process varies slightly depending on the material from which you want to remove coffee stains. Nevertheless, you will need the following items to get rid of those ugly coffee stains from different surfaces.
WaterWhite vinegarClean paper towels or pieces of fabricSoap, detergent, stain remover, or a mixture of these itemsLemon juice or baking soda (on occasion)Getting Rid of Fresh Coffee StainsIf possible, always remove coffee stains when they are fresh. This makes the work of getting the stains out very easy because the coffee particles have not settled into the material yet. The first thing you need to do when you spill coffee on your clothes is to dip the clothes in cold water to dilute the stain.
And although most people are tempted to scrub the coffee stain, you shouldn’t do it because it will only damage your clothes. Running cold water through the stains will wash the coffee particles out in a matter of minutes. Note that removing fresh coffee stains from your carpet and upholstery will require more effort with this technique. If it doesn’t work, try the dried coffee stain technique.
Getting Rid of Dried Coffee StainsDried coffee stains are a bit stubborn because coffee particles have already settled into the fabric. Therefore, you will need more items than just cold water. For instance, you will need clean water, paper towels or pieces of fabric, liquid laundry detergent, and white vinegar (for stains that prove to be very tough).
Start by wetting the stained clothes with water and pour several drops of the liquid laundry detergent in the water while rubbing the stain with your fingers gently. Allow the clothes to remain in the solution for about five minutes before you rinse them. If the stains are still there, repeat the process and add a few drops of white vinegar and powdered laundry detergent to the solution until they form a paste.
Softly rub the paste into the stains with a soft-bristled toothbrush and leave the clothes to sit in the solution for another five minutes before rinsing.
How to Remove Coffee Stains from Different MaterialsCoffee can cause stains on a wide range of materials, including carpets, upholstery, utensils, teeth, among others. While the above two methods work best on fabric, you might need to change tact when you are dealing with other types of materials. Here are simple steps to follow when removing coffee stains from different materials.
1. CarpetThe most effective way to get rid of coffee stains on your carpet is to remove them when they are still fresh.
Using a white cloth, blot the coffee particles by moving from the outside to the middle of the stain. This stops the stains from spreading further.Don’t rub the stain because it could cause the liquid to get stack in the fibers. Remove most of the coffee out of the carpet, pour cold water over the stains, and blot once more to dilute the stain. Instead of using the expensive carpet stain remover, you can make your own solution.Just mix 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, and 2 cups of warm water. Apply the solution to the stains using a clean cloth. Once the stains are fully covered, use a dry towel to blot them until they are completely gone.Using cold water, rinse the stains and blot them once more to ensure all the stains are out. Allow the carpet to air dry on its own, and don’t rub it.2. TeethRegular consumption of coffee can leave stains on your teeth. These stains can also occur on your dental veneers. But this doesn’t mean you should quit drinking coffee. You just need to know how to remove the coffee stains from your teeth.
Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide: You can use a mixture of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to whiten your teeth. Just mix two drops of hydrogen peroxide and a small amount of baking soda to make a liquid paste. Use the paste to brush your teeth at least twice a day to remove coffee stains.Teeth whitening products: You can use ADA-approved over-the-counter teeth whitening products (toothpaste and whitening strips) to remove coffee stains. Make sure you consult your dentist.Coconut oil: This is another good home remedy to get rid of stains on your teeth. Coconut oil is a perfect antibacterial agent, and it is also good for teeth whitening. By killing bacteria that build up on your teeth after drinking or eating, this oil neutralizes excess acid inside your mouth and dampens the effect of coffee stains.Electric toothbrush: An electric toothbrush provides better cleaning power than a manual one, and it keeps your teeth and gums healthy. Brush your teeth with this brush twice a day and don’t forget to floss too.Brush thoroughly: Brush your teeth for about half an hour after drinking coffee, and remember to rinse your mouth with water before brushing.Sugar and cream: Don’t add sugar and cream to your coffee because they accelerate the growth of bacteria that cause discoloration.Use a straw: If you like iced coffee, always drink it through a straw to reduce the risk of staining your teeth.Drink coffee moderately: Do not drink coffee throughout the day so that you can avoid a buildup of bacteria.Rinse your mouth: Always drink a glass of water to rinse your mouth and teeth after every cup of coffee.Fiber: Eat raw fruits and vegetables like lemons and strawberries after drinking coffee because they contain natural fibers to break down bacteria and clean your teeth.3. Cup and Other UtensilsWhat do you do when you notice that your expensive white cups, mugs, and other utensils are getting coffee stains? There are several effective ways to get rid of such stains, but you have to understand the type of materials used to manufacture the utensils.
Some materials like stainless steel and stoneware need special consideration. Here are some of the effective ways to remove coffee stains from your cups and other utensils:
Wash with soap: Dish soap is specially formulated to remove stains. So, just squirt a small amount of the soap into your cup and add warm water, making sure that the stain is fully covered. Let the cup sit in the mixture for a few minutes to allow the soap to penetrate the stain. Then, scrub the stain with a piece of sponge and rinse the cup.Baking soda: If the soap doesn’t do the trick, use baking soda. Just pour baking soda on the stain and add a little water to make a paste. Let the cup sit in the solution for a few minutes before you scrub the stain with a damp, soft sponge. The gentle, abrasive nature of baking soda helps lift the stains from the cup. After scrubbing, rinse the cup thoroughly to remove any remaining baking soda.Vinegar: Fill your stained cup halfway with purified white vinegar, then fill it to the top with very hot water. Let the mixture sit for at least 10 minutes to allow the vinegar to work. Then, scrub away the coffee stains using dish soap and a soft sponge, and rinse the cup thoroughly.Read All of James Patterson Books in Order: Book Series Guide

Read the Signs: What Do Different Emojis Mean From a Guy?
If you text regularly, then you know that emojis can be more important and say more than even words themselves. They can help you express emotions, opinions, joke around, and even flirt. However, they can also be confusing and misleading if you don’t know how to read them right. So, you have probably already wondered: “what do different emojis mean from a guy?”
Read on to find out the answer to this question as the article explores different types of emojis that guys use and what they mean in context.
What Do Different Emojis Mean From a Guy: The Complete ListBelow, you’ll find a list of emojis guys send and possible explanations and interpretations for them. After reading those, the question “what do different emojis mean from a guy?” will no longer be a mystery.
What Do Different Emojis Mean From a Guy? The Flirting Edition1. The Angel Emoji
This emoji is one of the most deceiving ones out there. On the surface, it is angelic and pure. After all, angels represent innocence, purity, and goodness. However, the angel emoji represents the complete opposite.
Now, don’t think of evil and sinister intentions. Rather, it represents something naughty, playful, and fun. If a guy sends you this emoji, you can know and be almost absolutely sure that he is being flirty and testing out the waters with you. He wants to be more than friends, and it is up to you to decide whether you want the same.
2. The Relieved Smile Emoji
The meaning behind this emoji, as with most of them, depends on the context in which a guy uses it.
For example, if a guy responds with this emoji after you tell him some good news, it means they are happy for you and that they care. It could be you passing a test or getting good news after a doctor’s appointment. Either way, if a guy finishes his message off with this emoji, it shows that he cares.
Alternatively, this particular emoji can also help guys express their own emotions and moods. Sending the emoji can mean that he is relaxed, doing what he loves, happy, or in a good mood. Since a lot of guys struggle with saying how they feel at a given moment, using emojis can help them a lot.
3. The Heart Eyes Emoji
The subject of love is not an easy one to talk about, especially in the early stages of relationships. That is why using emojis to leave hints and stay mysterious is so amazing.
The heart eyes emoji has a pretty straightforward meaning. If a guy uses it a lot when texting you, you can safely assume that he likes you. Of course, he can use it to show his love and appreciation for other things you are talking about, such as movies or TV shows.
But if he uses it all the time and the context doesn’t really require it, you can be sure that he feels something more for you. So, you can use the emoji yourself as well and see how he reacts.
4. The Kissy Face Emoji
The question “what do different emojis mean from a guy?” really shouldn’t be posed when it comes to this emoji and the one above. When a guy sends you a kissy face, he is flirting with you, plain and simple.
If you had to translate this emoji into a sentence, it would probably be something along the lines of: “I like you, let’s be more than friends.” Now, the only question is, do you like him? If so, then you know you can take the next step and go further.
5. The Blushing Face Emoji
The blushing face emoji is yet another sign of flirting, but it is a bit more subtle. When he sends you this one, he has feelings for you but is unsure of whether he should show them. It probably means that he doesn’t know how you feel and is, therefore, shy about his own emotions.
If you like him, you can reply in kind and use this emoji to let him know. Alternatively, you can take things to the next level and use a bolder option, like the two emojis discussed above. Those will let him know how you feel without a doubt.
6. The Hugging Face Emoji
When a guy sends you the hugging face emoji, you can assume that he thinks you are cute and that he loves talking to you. So, he’s probably crushing on you and wants to see how you feel.
You can look at this emoji as the natural step that precedes sending a kissy face. After all, that is how things usually go in real life, too: from innocent and lingering hugs to kisses and other signs of affection.
7. The Cheeky Tongue Out Emoji
This emoji is both funny and flirty. A guy is trying to joke around and make you laugh but also flirt with you at the same time. He’s being cheeky and cute, and his goal is to see how you react to it all.
Guys also love to use this emoji when they’re teasing you about something. That is an unparalleled way of flirting that most people enjoy, and it’s one of the main parts of the talking stage.
If you were together in person, he’d probably tickle you or touch your hand or even hug you. But since you’re just texting, he settles for this emoji since it relays a complex message so well.
8. Winking Face Emoji
When it comes to asking: “what do different emojis mean from a guy?”, no emoji is as straightforward as this one. Instead of calling it the winking face emoji, you can just go ahead and refer to it as the ultimate flirting emoji.
When he sends you this emoji, he’s done being shy and hiding his intentions. He’s telling you, loud and clear, that he likes you and wants to take the next step. The question is, what will you do about it?
9. Laughing With Cold Sweat Face Emoji
This one is yet another flirty emoji that is on the subtler side of the spectrum. If a guy sends you this one, he likes you and wants to flirt, but he’s unsure about how you feel and how you will react.
He will usually follow a risky statement with this emoji, to kind of soften the blow. That way, he can play it off as a joke if you don’t reply in kind. Apart from telling you that he likes you, this emoji also shows you that he sees you as powerful and really cares about your reaction to everything he says.
10. See-No-Evil Monkey
Here is another “risking it all” emoji. Guys usually send this one after saying something a bit bolder, and it’s almost as if they’re too shy and nervous to see your answer. So, this emoji usually means he’s shooting his shot, and it is up to you to reply and show him where you stand.
What you reply will determine what he says next, and the monkey emoji is just there to soften everything up. That way, if you don’t like him, he can still manage to save himself and play everything off as a silly joke.
11. Smirking Emoji
This emoji borders between shameless flirtation and shy lust perfectly. There is no way to misinterpret this one, as it clearly shows you that a guy is interested and truly wants to be more than friends. Paired with some great flirting, this emoji can be a true weapon in texting.
Guys usually opt for this emoji because they know you like them back, or they have nothing to lose either way. They like you too much and aren’t afraid to show it. So, be careful how you use it and reply to it, as it will determine where your relationship goes from that point on.
What Do Different Emojis Mean From a Guy? He Loves You EditionMany people think that interpreting emojis is only important when the relationship still hasn’t started. However, it is just as essential when the relationship starts, and you want to see whether a guy really likes you.
Below, you will find out the answer to the question “what do different emojis mean from a guy?” when it comes to him being in love with you.
1. The Red Heart
If you use hearts on the regular, you know that colors matter. In most cases, you use blue, green, purple, or yellow hearts with the people you like casually or with friends and family. However, the red heart is reserved for a different kind of love. You use it with people you care about deeply, and most often, those people are your romantic partners.
So if a guy sends you a red heart and you’ve been together for a while, you can be sure that he loves you. He’s probably shy to say it out loud, or he fears it’s too soon, but he cannot hide it over text. If you feel the same, you can send one yourself and show him you are on the same page.
2. The Couple Emoji
This one couldn’t be more straightforward. If a guy uses it often, he loves you and isn’t afraid or ashamed to show it. Guys can use this emoji even before you start dating, indicating that they are ready to take the next step with you. But they can also use it when you’re already together, to show that they think of the two of you as a unit and to show their love.
3. The Bride Emoji
Numerous women have asked themselves: “what do different emojis mean from a guy?” referring to various wedding-related emojis. For example, you’re joking around in the chat and he mentions getting married while using the bride emoji for you.
There are not many ways you can interpret it. Most likely, he’s so in love with you that he sees a future with you, and is actively thinking about it. Using those emojis and joking around is his way of testing the waters and seeing how you will react and what you think about it.
In this case, the emoji is the serious part, while the joke is there to lighten things up and cover up the fact that he is, in fact, nervous. So, be careful about how you reply and take your feelings and wishes into consideration before doing so.
4. The Ring Emoji
You can interpret this emoji similarly to the one above. Maybe your guy is considering proposing and is joking around to see how you will react. Though his tone might seem light and unaffected, you can be sure that he’s watching your reaction closely and reading into everything you say or send.
5. The Kiss Mark Emoji
While the kissy face emoji is a sign of shy flirtation and testing the waters, there is nothing subtle about the kiss mark. This one promises kisses and a good time, and it tells you your man loves you very much.
Don’t hesitate to send this emoji yourself as well. It is important that your partner knows you feel the same and aren’t afraid to show it. That will help him relax and be more sure of himself.
6. The Smiling Face With Hearts Around It Emoji
This one is, perhaps, the cutest emoji a guy can send you to show that he loves you. It should tell you that he is completely enamored with you and wants to show you that, so you would have no traces of doubt about his intentions.
The great thing about this emoji is the fact that it works as a response to anything. He can use it to reply to a picture you sent him, as part of a good morning or good night text, or simply after saying he loves you. It is cute and carries so much emotion in it, no matter how simple it may seem.
7. The Revolving Hearts Emoji
As this article mentions in the sections above, nothing says a guy loves you as much as a red heart. However, if you make one heart into two and have them revolve around each other, the love only multiplies.
When a guy sends you this heart emoji, you can know for a fact that he is head over heels in love with you. It is a sweet thing to do, and if you feel the same, you can use it as well, so he knows it.
What Do Different Emojis Mean From a Guy? He Wants You EditionApart from expressing love or flirting, emojis are also a great way to show one’s desire. A lot of people use them exactly for this purpose, as it makes the flirty atmosphere even better. It also helps them express things that they are maybe too shy to spell out.
So, if you are wondering: “what do different emojis mean from a guy?” when it comes to desire and sex, read on. The sections that follow will break it all down for you.
1. The Purple Devil Face Emoji
When guys use this emoji, you can safely assume that they want to get down and dirty with you. It is not up for debate at all. So, think carefully about what you want and reply accordingly. What you say can make or break the tension that has been building up between you.
2. The Red-Faced Sweating Emoji
If you think this emoji means that your guy has a fever, you’re mistaken. Or, the fever could be there but is caused by something entirely different. To put things simply: if he sends this, he wants you. As soon as possible.
There are many contexts in which guys can choose this particular emoji. For example, they can send it as a response to a picture you send them of yourself in a particular outfit. Or it can be a perfect way to tell you he is done texting and wants to see you. He’s ready to go beyond simple words and emojis, and it is up to you to decide where you go from there.
3. The Eggplant Emoji
Anyone who is at least a bit emoji savvy can tell you that the eggplant definitely does not stand for the vegetable itself. Instead, it actually represents a man’s private parts and is used to show desire of a rather particular kind.
If a guy sends you this emoji, you can be sure that he has only one thing on his mind. And if he follows it with some steamy texts and flirts shamelessly, you can start evaluating your feelings to see if you feel the same. He’s ready, and he wants you, but do you feel the same?
So, there is no need to wonder: “what do different emojis mean from a guy?” when this one and the two emojis above are concerned. Your man wants to get to know you rather intimately, and he is not at all afraid to express his desires.

220 Good Names for Owls You Should Consider for Your Pet
If you’ve ever seen Harry Potter as a child, then you likely wanted an owl as a pet. These wonderful animals are one of the most iconic birds known to mankind. They also make surprisingly good pets, especially for those who want something more exotic.
But owning an owl isn’t like owning a dog. They have different temperaments, need different kinds of care, and a different kind of name — a name that is more suited to the majestic predators that they are. So, in light of this, here are a few good names for owls you should consider.
List of the Best Owl NamesPicking out a pet name is always hard. You have to choose carefully because once an animal accepts the name, you won’t be able to change it. This is doubly true for owls. These magnificent birds are almost synonymous with intelligence and have served as symbols of wisdom in many cultures.
This is in no small part thanks to their facial shape. With their large, child-like eyes, and piercing stare, an owl’s face gives the impression of unmistakable sentience. In light of this, it might surprise you to know that owls aren’t as wise as they seem — or at least, they aren’t any smarter than other birds of prey.
Scientists at the Lomonosov State University in Moscow, Russia, found that owls have very little understanding of means-to-an-end relationships. This means that they aren’t very good at resolving tasks without prior learning, like for example, pulling a piece of string to get access to food.
This isn’t to say that owls aren’t smart at all. As a matter of fact, quite a number of owl species exhibit very complex behaviors. For example, little owls will cultivate maggots for food, by stashing pieces of rotten meat. Injured tawny owls can recognize when a human is trying to help them and will cooperate. Some owl species have even been recorded using tools. Burrowing owls will take dung beetles to their burrows to cultivate them as bait to attract prey.
But if owls aren’t all that intelligent, why is it important to choose a good name for them? The answer has to do with training. Though they may not be exceptionally smart, owls are still wild animals, and as such have a hard time adopting behavior changes. Coming up with good names for owls will help you bond with them, as well as serve as a good starting point for your training.
1. Cute Names[image error]
Let’s face it — an owl may be one of the deadliest birds of prey, but they’re still your feathered baby. Because of this, you probably can’t resist giving them a cute name. Here are a few good names for owls that will make you go ‘aww’.

Names for Male Owls[image error]
The names covered so far have been fairly mixed, in terms of gender. However, if you have a male owl on your hands then you likely won’t want to waste time combing through female owl names as well. So here are some good masculine names for your owl:

Just like the previous entry, if you have a female owl, then you want a list of exclusively female names. Here are some good names for owls that radiate good feminine energy:

After mulling over some good names for owls, the next step is of course caring for and training your feathery companion. And owls require quite a bit of both. As mentioned, owls are wild animals, so they need more attention and resources than your average dog.
For starters, they require a lot of space. They’re birds of prey, with deeply ingrained instincts to hunt, and travel. Because of this, keeping them in your apartment or sticking them in a small parrot cage isn’t going to work. For an owl to live a healthy, active lifestyle, they need a large aviary that has both indoor and outdoor access.
Much like cats, they’re extremely clean animals that regularly groom themselves. In the wild, they largely rely on stealth to hunt. When their feathers are dirty, they can make a lot of noise, which interferes with their ability to swoop down silently and snatch prey. This is why they try to keep their feathers as tidy as possible. To help them do this, you need to give them constant access to a clean bath pan they can use for grooming purposes.
Owls also require quite a lot of exercise. To state the obvious, they are birds. One of their core natural instincts is to fly. Therefore, you should try and let them fly as often as possible. A good way to give your feathery companion some exercise is to let them fly around specialized enclosures.
Lastly, don’t forget to consider their specialized diet. Unlike other birds such as parrots, doves, or pigeons, owls are obligate carnivores. This means that they need a diet made up exclusively of meat to survive. However, this meat can’t be refined into pellets or kibble, as owls won’t recognize it as food. Instead, you must feed your owl whole animals, like mice, rodents, rabbits, and guinea pigs.
Training and Owl Personalities[image error]
If you want to keep an owl as a pet, then you need to do more than think of good names for owls. You need to train them. And this process is unfortunately going to be difficult. Despite the fact owls can adjust to captivity, they remain firmly wild at heart. This means that they won’t bend to your will easily, and will require a lot of work to be able to live beside you.
The first step in owl training is to recognize the differences in personality. In most bird species, males are the more aggressive ones, and will often be more resistant to training. However, for owls, it’s actually the females that have a mean streak. Though they have a smaller frame, different colored feathers, and less muscle mass than males, owl mothers display high levels of aggression, especially when they’re nesting.
Scientists theorize this behavior helps them fend off larger males more easily, and raise healthier chicks. For this reason, you should be very careful when approaching an owl. Always use the correct gear to protect yourself from their sharp claws. And be sure to manage your expectations.
Unlike dogs, owls are solitary creatures. This means that they don’t form strong social bonds, nor do they have a sense of loyalty. Therefore, you shouldn’t expect them to respond to your every command, the way a dog would.
So, the key to owl training is to have patience and allow them freedom. With the right name, a gentle touch, and lots of love, owls can be one of the most rewarding pets you can own.

9 Traditional Old Hymns for Your Gospel Playlist
There was a time when all you could hear in a church during a worship service were traditional, old hymns. So, it wasn’t at all surprising that the majority of believers welcomed modern Christian music. Now, singers like Lauren Daigle and Chris Tomlin are very popular among the Christian audience.
But still, these old songs seem to be timeless. And no matter how much people seem to force a modern vibe on the song service, traditional hymns will always have a place in every believer’s heart. So, let’s check out some of the best old hymns you can add to your playlist.
1. Amazing GraceYou don’t have to be a Christian or even a believer in God, for that matter, to have heard about a song called Amazing Grace. This hymn is all over the tv shows and movies — Greenland, Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Spy Hard, and Bad Boys Forever, to name just a few.
The man who wrote this masterpiece, John Newton, was once involved in a slave trade across the Atlantic. But then, the love of God has changed his heart. Eventually, Newton became a preacher and decided to put his experience into words and create this moving hymn in 1779.
Amazing Grace is so beloved because the melody is incredibly soothing. This song feels like a warm embrace for someone in pain or someone crushed by sin and sorrow. And the thing that makes it even more appealing is the lyrics. The words speak about the powerful grace of God that changes people’s hearts the moment they accept it.
There are countless interpretations and versions of this song, which speaks of its popularity. But if you want to enjoy the more traditional version, follow this link. And for those of you with a modern taste, check out Chris Tomplin’s interpretation of the hymn Amazing Grace.
2. How Great Thou ArtThis 1885 hymn is probably one of the best songs ever written to express the admiration people feel when they think about the greatness of God. It is the hymn most Christians turn to when they want to praise the Lord as the Creator and the Almighty.
But did you know that How Great Thou Art was originally written in Swedish? After Carl Bogerg first wrote the lyrics, it quickly became popular throughout Europe before Stuart Hine translated it into English.
In any case, the powerful words leave you humble and in awe of God and everything He created. Moreover, do not be surprised if you suddenly feel goosebumps when you hear the whole congregation singing the chorus, “Then sings my soul….”
Listen two these two beautiful interpretations of this traditional hymn. One was brought to us by the amazing Carrie Underwood and the other one by the talented Loyiso Bala and Don Moen.
3. It Is Well With My SoulAnother one of the invaluable old hymns is It Is Well With My Soul. If you are going through a difficult period in life, there’s no better way to express your trust in God than to sing along to this sad and beautiful Christian hymn.
The man who composed it, Horatio Spafford, had just lost his four daughters at sea when the ship they were on hit another vessel. And to make things even worse, he was facing financial ruin at the time. Spafford began composing this timeless piece after sailing over the same place where his daughters died, somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean.
The music is really heartbreaking and emotional, but the true beauty of this song lies in the lyrics. The hymn It Is Well With My Soul expresses complete faith and utter surrender to God. Even if things in life don’t go the way you planned, you know that God is in control and that He cares.
For a full congregation experience, listen to this powerful version of the song. Also, there’s an acapella version that is just a treat for the ears.
4. Holy, Holy, HolyHoly, Holy, Holy is another awe-inspiring song worthy of the King Himself. In fact, there are a few songs that can describe God’s incredible nature and magnitude as this traditional Christian hymn. The iconic anthem praises God as the only entity in the entire universe that deserves our worship.
Reginal Heiber wrote the hymn in 1826, and since then, churches all over the world sing it to express the love, power, and grace of their Lord.
Listen to Audrey Assad’s touching interpretation of this famous song.
5. Wherever He Leads, I’ll GoBB McKinney wrote this hymn in 1930 to celebrate a life of complete surrender to the Lord. Wherever He Leads, I’ll Go speaks about how important it is to trust God and His plan for your life. Just as Abraham had the utmost faith in God who invited him on the journey to the unknown, this song invites you to trust and follow your God.
But as is the case with many deep and moving old hymns, this song also has a sad backstory. McKinney was inspired to compose this piece when a missionary from Brazil told him how heartbroken he felt that he would never return to his homeland due to some health issues. To McKinney’s question: What will you do?, the missionary answered: Wherever He leads, I’ll go.
And thus the famous song was born.
Alan Jackson did one of the best and most famous versions of this song. Enjoy!
6. Jesus Paid It AllOne of the core Christian beliefs is the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. And for many people, the conversion point is when they learn that Jesus paid the price for their sins on the Cross. For this reason, a number of old hymns celebrate Christ for the sacrifice He was willing to do.
Jesus Paid It All is a timeless song that has been giving Christians much-needed hope and joy for over a century. Elvina Hall, the author of the hymn, was just an ordinary person sitting in a church one day. Suddenly, she felt inspired to create a song and celebrate her Saviour. And that is how one of the most popular old hymns came to be.
There are so many versions of this song, so you’ll surely find the one that fits your taste. Choose the incredible Fernando Ortega for a peaceful, traditional interpretation of Jesus Paid It All. However, if you wish for a version that has a modern twist to it, you’ll probably enjoy Kristian Stanfill’s take on this hymn.
7. Great Is Thy FaithfulnessAnother one of the old hymns to add to your playlist is Great Is Thy Faithfulness. Thomas Chisholm wrote it in 1923 to honor God’s faithfulness in his life. So, this hymn is an expression of gratitude, but it also has a personal, vulnerable feel to it.
The main message is that God is faithful to those who love Him. And although you might not see it all the time, He is always working for your benefit.
The melody is both calming and uplifting. It starts slow and peaceful but soon takes you on a journey where lyrics and music make you realize how blessed you are every day.
This song had become popular again in recent years among the younger audience thanks to Jordan Smith, who sang it at the Voice singing competition. But for your private playlist, check out this version gifted to us by Austin Stone Worship.
8. What A Friend We Have In JesusA more upbeat and cheerful hymn you might also like is What A Friend We Have In Jesus. Joseph M. Scriven wrote the words in 1855, while Charles Converse composed the melody in 1868.
This song will fill you with pure hope and joy as soon as you start listening to it. The lyrics speak directly to those who struggle with worry and anxiety. You have an almighty God behind your back who wants to take the struggles and the burden away from you. All you have to do is take it to the Lord in prayer!
Celtic Worship and Steph Macleod somehow managed to make this hymn even more positive and lively in this amazing interpretation. But, for those of you who prefer an acoustic cover, this version will fill you with heavenly harmony.
9. Nearer, My God, To TheeThe last one on our list of old hymns is Nearer, My God, To Thee.
Most non-Christians know this hymn from the famous movie Titanic. While the ship is sinking, an old couple is lying on the bed together and waiting for death to come. The orchestra is playing this song in the background. What a powerful and heartbreaking scene!
And the director sure knew what he was doing. This song speaks about the depth of faith and true hope that those who believe in Jesus Christ experience even when facing certain death. Yes, death is terrible and tragic beyond words. But if you believe in everything Christ has promised, death just means you are coming back to the One who created you.
Sarah Flower Adams wrote this glorious hymn in 1841, inspired by Jacob’s dream — a story from the book of Genesis 28:11-19.
Take a moment to relish in the sheer beauty and tranquillity of André Rieu’s performance of the Nearer, my God, to thee. Another great version that has a more church feel to it is the one by Johan Luis Estevez.

10 Bizarre Japanese Game Shows That Will Blow Your Mind
Japan has been booming as the new cultural center of the world for over a decade now. It only takes watching some of their outlandishly hilarious game shows to see why. If you’re ever looking for something out of the ordinary, Japan never disappoints. Check out this list of 10 of the most intriguing and hilarious Japanese game shows of all time, prime for western consumption.
10 Japanese Game Shows#1. Man Eats Spaghetti In A Dryer[image error]
This game show is precisely what the name suggests, and it’s also everything you would expect from a Japanese game show. The idea is completely out of the box and hilarious. Here’s the game.
The players strip down and enter a tumble dryer. They’re given spaghetti noodles in a tin bowl and a pair of chopsticks. The tumble dryer gets turned on, and they have to finish the bowl while spinning inside.
It’s probably not a game you’d ever want to try at home but definitely entertaining to watch noodles flying all over the place and the players trying to catch them.
#2. The Bum Game[image error]
Provocative humor is a staple of Japanese game shows and entertainment. And in no game does Japan make this as clear as the Bum Game. This is one you should probably avoid watching with your family. It’s not very flattering to women but an interesting game nonetheless.
It involves models who have to put their behind into a plastic mold with cutouts to expose their buttocks. The person behind them can inspect the buttocks however he likes, including kissing. The goal is to guess the model based on the buttocks. It’s a strange game but makes you chuckle for some reason.
#3. Slippery Stairs[image error]
If you’re looking for wholesome family fun, try watching slippery stairs. Six contestants are dressed in tight lycra-spandex onesies with a helmet, and their objective is to climb the stairs and reach the treasure chest at the top. However, the stairs are covered in oil that contestants spread every time they slip and fall.
You need to have a tight foot grip, patience, and focus to be able to scale these stairs in the suits the show provides. And even that may not be enough. If one contestant slips and falls, everyone below them tumbles. This simple but hilarious game gained a lot of popularity on Youtube and is enjoyed throughout the world.
#4. Spread Your Legs[image error]
Sometimes, pain can be a rich source of humor, not only in Japan but all over the world. This Japanese show makes a game out of splitting your legs for extended periods both funny and cute to watch. The contestants sit on a machine that spreads their legs apart by rotating a wheel. There’s no translation available of the rules, but you watch the videos on YouTube.
A lady spins a wheel with a bunch of numbers on it. Based on the number that it lands on, the wheels of the machine are rotated to stretch the contestants’ legs apart. It takes a lot of endurance and flexibility to win this game.
#5. Takeshi’s Castle[image error]
Takeshi’s Castle is arguably one of the most recognized Japanese game shows in the world. It’s been dubbed in many different languages and gained a lot of notoriety in countries like India. Takeshi’s Castle presents a series of challenges that the participant needs to clear to win the game while competing against several others.
One of the games involves navigating a maze and making it to the end without being caught by weirdly dressed monsters that are also in the maze searching for you. Another one involves racing over a series of planks floating loosely in the water. Takeshi’s Castle is a competitive and fun game show to watch, especially for kids.
#6. Silent Library[image error]
Silent Library shares a lot in common with the American game show Jackass. It involves performing unusual and bizarre stunts that provoke laughter. However, the catch with the Japanese version is that it takes place in a Library. The objective is to perform your stunt without making any noise or disturbing the peace.
In one of the episodes, a contestant drew the wrong card and had to lick butter off of a stranger’s back. This is just an example to show you how weird things can get on Silent Library.
#7. Marshmallow Rubber Band[image error]
This game involves making contestants wear one or more rubber bands around their mouth, tight enough to compress their face and make hilarious expressions that are immortalized in pictures. The rubber bands also make it difficult for them to move their facial muscles.
A bunch of marshmallows are then dangled in front of their face on a string, and they have to eat as many as they can. The kind of expressions they end up making while trying to catch the marshmallows almost borders on humiliating.
#8. It’s ElectrifyingHere’s another Japanese game show that equates physical pain to humor. The game involves passing electricity through men, but the way it’s done is hilarious. They’re strapped to a board and slid down a deck. A beautiful woman stands at the other end of the deck. Once the contestant slides down, he hits her chest and is jolted with electricity.
It’s unclear what the game’s rules are or how to win since it’s a really old game show, and there isn’t a lot of information available about it. But one thing’s for sure; it’s a show you won’t forget.
#9. AKBingo[image error]
AKBingo is one of Japan’s longest-running variety game shows and features the pop idol girl group AKB48. They play many different games ranging from quizzes to sports to news. And every episode has something new to offer.
It airs once a week and has been dubbed for Indonesian, Thai, Chinese, and Filipino audiences. If you’re looking for casual and light-hearted Japanese game shows to pass the time, AKBingo is a great choice.
#10. Candy Or Not Candy[image error]
Candy Or Not Candy is a Japanese game show that showcases Japan’s infamous sweet sculpting skills, also called the art of “Sokkuri,” to make them look like real objects.
Participants are presented with several objects — some may be real while some are made of chocolate or candy. They need to take a bite out of any one of them. If they take a bite of something that turns out to be real, not only do they lose points, but they are also left with the foul taste of old shoes in their mouth.
