Always on My Mind Excerpt
Climbing from the car, she walked with a sense of purpose to the house. Once she stepped
inside, she spotted Ethan walking around, talking on his phone. He took one look at her and
seemed to know something was up.
“Listen, Mom, I need to go. I’ll talk to you soon,” he said before saying goodbye. He placed
his phone down on the kitchen island but didn’t make a move toward her. “Do you want to talk
about it?”
Parker shook her head and tossed her purse on the sofa on her way over to him. “I do not.”
He got that heated look in his eyes that she loved so much. His hair was a bit messy–as if
he’d been raking his hands through it–and even his glasses were a bit askew. And yet he still
turned her on.
When they were toe to toe, she reached up and gently pulled his glasses off, placing them on
the island next to his phone. Her hands skimmed his stubbled jaw before running them through
his hair.
“Something I can help you with?” he asked gruffly. He hadn’t touched her yet–not
physically–but the way he was watching her was almost as potent.
“As a matter of fact, you can,” she whispered.
“I’m all ears.”
The heat pouring off of him pulled her in until Parker simply wrapped herself around him. “I
want you to come upstairs with me and let me have my way with you.”
He arched one dark brow at her–probably because up until now they’d been spending their
nights in his room. Tonight, however, she needed things to be on her own turf, even if it was just
up the stairs.
“I’m all yours,” he whispered, and Parker stepped back and took him by the hand and led
him up to her room.
And then said a prayer of thanks that it was clean.
At her bed, she gently pushed Ethan down onto the mattress before crawling up and over
him. Together they got him undressed before Parker stripped herself down. Her hands wandered
of their own accord and she loved hearing his hiss of breath and feeling him jump when she did
something she knew he really enjoyed. There was power in this–power that she desperately
needed tonight. And as she touched and licked and kissed just about every inch of him, she
realized how much this man was coming to mean to her. He wasn’t just her roommate or her
lover; he was her friend and possibly the only real friend she had right now.
Ethan’s hand gripped her hair and gave a gentle tug, getting her attention. He was breathless
and there was a fine sheen of sweat on him and she’d never wanted him more. The look on his
face told her he was right on the edge with her and, as much as she would have loved to continue
to dominate for a little longer, she loved the way it felt when he took control.
In her mind, she still had the power.
She was simply letting him temporarily take the lead.
Leaning in close, she nibbled her way up his jaw. “Take me, Ethan. Take me now.”
And he did.

THE PROPOSAL PLAYBOOK IS LIVE!
I'm so excited to tell you that The Proposal Playbook is now live!
He's a former Navy SEAL from the school of hard knocks.
She's a cheery wedding planner writing a guide to happily ever afters.
Who knew cupid's arrow could come in the form of a five-pound bag of flour?
When Daisy Sinclair gleefully offers to help her brother come up with the perfect proposal, she has no idea how time-consuming the project will become. Or, how it would make her the target of mockery from one rather grumpy former SEAL. Xander thinks he's got her all figured out. She is determined to prove him wrong. Just because she's more cheer than sneer doesn't give him the right to pass judgment on her.
As the son of a woman who walked away from her family, Xander Madden believes he's destined to follow in her footsteps. Which makes Daisy's ridiculously chipper ramblings about the wonders of love all the more irritating. Still, there's something about her that he can't ignore. Although... he probably should, considering every time he opens his mouth, he says the wrong thing.
Just when Xander thinks he can avoid the trappings of her sunny disposition, Daisy smacks him with a five-pound bag of flour and suddenly she's all he can think about. The pair have nothing in common except an undeniable attraction. Is a future for them possible when Daisy's looking for forever and Xander can't even commit to tomorrow?

The Proposal Playbook Excerpt
Check out this excerpt from The Proposal Playbook!

Being single wasn’t a bad thing, but the older she got, the more she hated being alone. And with the way things were going with Xander, where she kept getting a glimpse of what it would be like to have someone in her life, going home to no one was that much harder.
Still, there wasn’t anything she could do about it at the moment. They had an arrangement or some kind of loose plan and she had to stick to it.
Even when she didn’t want to.
So she did her best to cheer up and do what she could to make tonight a good one. Opting to cook something for herself rather than get takeout, Daisy pulled into the Publix shopping center and was about to get out of her car when her phone dinged with an incoming text. She didn’t recognize the number.
Unknown: Hey, you done with work for the day?
Unknown: Thought maybe we could get together at my place.
Frowning, she muttered a curse. Great, now her phone was mocking her. Leave it to her to lament about how lonely she was and then get cute text messages from someone who clearly had the wrong number.
“Ugh, why does the universe hate me?” she mumbled, tossing her phone into her purse. Climbing from the car, she made it all of five feet before her phone started dinging again. She considered ignoring it since it was obviously not for her, but curiosity got the better of her.
Unknown: Pack an overnight bag. I’ve got dinner under control too.
If anything, it made her madder. It was tempting to text whoever this person was back and let them know they had the wrong number, but she was walking into the store and figured she’d grab a few things and respond to the texts when she got home.
Within the span of a minute, her phone dinged five more times.
“Seriously?” she hissed, pulling it out again.
Unknown: Hope you like Italian
Unknown: And red wine
Unknown: And tiramisu for dessert
Unknown: Let me know when you’re leaving so I can have everything ready
Unknown: Tonight is all about you
It was getting annoying that this person couldn’t put all this info in one message instead of sending a dozen damn texts, but she refrained from throwing her phone.
But part of her was super jealous because whoever this person was, they were pulling out all the stops.
“Meanwhile, I’m buying microwave ready potatoes.” Tossing the container in her cart, she strolled through the meat department to consider her options.
And then her phone dinged again.
“Oh, come on!” she snapped and then wanted the floor to open up and swallow her when a dozen people looked at her like she was crazy.
Obviously waiting to get home wasn’t an option because this person was persistent. Glancing down at the screen, the latest message made her heart kick hard in her chest.
Unknown: Looking forward to seeing you tonight, Daisy.
Unknown: It’s Xander, by the way
She was smiling so hard that her cheeks hurt. Turning around, she practically sprinted to retrace her steps and tossed the potatoes back onto the display before returning her cart. Out in the parking lot, she raced to her car and said a prayer of thanks she wasn’t far from home. Once there, she tossed the bare essentials into her weekender bag before taking a few minutes to freshen up. And then–finally–she responded to all the messages.
Daisy: This is a wonderful surprise! I just need your address and then I’ll be on my way
His response was immediate, and she was a little shocked to realize he only lived fifteen minutes away.
This had to be a good sign, she thought. After all, he was the one who took the initiative and reached out to her even though she’d never given him her number either. It made her feel good that clearly she wasn’t alone in all of this–that Xander was thinking about her just like she was thinking about him.
“Don’t go getting all dreamy,” she warned herself as she drove. “Just because he invited me over doesn’t mean he’s falling in love or looking to get serious with me.”

HIS FOR THE HOLIDAYS IS LIVE!!!
If this was a Hallmark movie who would your leading actor/actress be?
Ooo…I always love this question!! As you know, I DO have a Hallmark movie, but I had zero input into the casting. So for HIS FOR THE HOLIDAYS – if I had to pick from Hallmark’s roster - I would love to see Trevor Donovan as Gage and possibly Megan Park as Hannah. BUT if I could choose from all of Hollywood, I would pick Austin North as our hero and Victoria Justice as our heroine.
Intrigued? Pick up your copy today! His for the Holidays is LIVE!
What better way to unwind from the stress of a family Thanksgiving, than escaping with an armload of Christmas cookies?
Hannah Christy was eager to head home and devour her treats in solitude, while doing some prep work for the promotion she was vying for. Those plans came to a screeching halt... along with the elevator.... trapping her inside with her sexy neighbor.
After being trapped with his match-making family over Thanksgiving, getting stuck in an elevator was a welcome reprieve for Gage Lawson.
If it was up to him, he would gladly stay stranded well into the new year. Especially since his neighbor has a whole treasure trove of ideas on how to pass the time. The best Christmas cookies he's ever tasted. Delicious spiced wine. Fun getting-to-know-you games. It's the most holiday merriment he's had in a long while.
Somewhere in the midst of it all, Gage comes up with the perfect plan. A fake romance to help make both their family get-togethers more jolly! To his surprise, Hannah agrees to be his for the holidays. Yet with the mistletoe in full bloom, and her on his arm, Gage soon realizes their little Christmas show isn't enough. He wants her for real... and forever.
Roast the chestnuts and hang the stockings, Gage has a plan! With the help of the 55 and over residents, magical flurries, and a never-ending supply of hot cocoa with extra marshmallows, he's determined to show Hannah that Christmas is the most wonderful time of year to fall in love.

His for the Holidays Excerpt
“I saw a lot of shady behavior today, Gage. Now I totally understand why your mother is feeling so competitive. I watched a lot of these women challenge each other over crazy stuff! Like, who can twine the lights and stars better, whose centerpiece has more glitter, who wrapped more presents…oh, and who had better paper angels on those presents! It was crazy!”
“Yeah, it’s the norm, but I hate how Mom gets so caught up in it. You’d think she’d see how ridiculous it is.”
“She does, but…it’s hard not to get involved in it. Sometimes you don’t even have a chance. Everyone was asking about us–me and you–because they were trying to figure out if they need to start pushing their kids to find their significant other.” She thanked him when he put the steaming bowl of soup down in front of her. “And let me tell you, they’re pretty blunt in the things they asked! It was like no subject was off-limits!”
He sat beside her. “Like what?”
“Well, let’s just say that there are a lot of women in this place who have the hots for you.”
“What?! Ew, no! They’re all like…my mom’s age!” He shuddered and suddenly felt dirty. “Please tell me you’re joking!”
“Sorry, Stud. You’re the resident hottie apparently.”
Groaning, Gage gently banged his head on the table. “Why did I think coming up here early was going to be a good thing?”
“Oh, stop. It’s not like any of them openly propositioned you. Just know…you’ve got options once the holidays are over and you’re single and on the market again,” she teased before tasting the soup. “This is fantastic! The perfect meal for a wintery night. Yum!”
While she ate, she told him about the inspiration for some of the decorations downstairs and how it was like herding cats to get everyone to stay on task so they could get done. He praised her efforts and he could tell how much it pleased her. When she was done eating, he cleaned up and put things in the dishwasher before walking over and locking the door.
“How about we go inside and get under the blankets and watch some TV and relax?” he suggested. “Believe it or not, The Muppet Christmas Carol is on. We never did get to watch it that night.”
Hannah got to her feet and stretched. Walking over to him, her smile was the perfect combination of sweet and sexy. “Or…we can go inside, get naked and under the blankets and…not relax.” Pressing up against him, she let out the arousing little hum of hers. “We can watch TV later.” She kissed him softly on the cheek. “If you’re up for it.”
He was hard in an instant. His hands gently grasped her bottom and lifted her up. Her laughter was full of joy as her legs wrapped around him. “Sweetheart, where you’re concerned, I’m always up for everything. Your wish is my command.”
“Ooh…be careful. That could be dangerous. I have lots of wishes,” she said, nibbling her way along his jaw.
They collapsed on the massive bed together.
“Tell me what they are and I promise to make them happen,” he growled against the soft skin of her throat.
Her laughter was throaty and seductive as she pressed up against him. “I wish we were both naked right now.”
Gage instantly sat up and whipped his sweater up over his head and clumsily kicked his shoes off before helping Hannah get undressed. They laughed as they rolled around on the bed trying to get everything off, but once it was all in a pile on the floor, they both sighed with pleasure at the skin-on-skin contact.
“Hmm…how many wishes do I get?” she murmured hotly as her hands roamed all over his chest.
The last thing he wanted to do was prolong the game because she was driving him wild, but he knew she wouldn’t be able to hold out much longer either. “The standard is three,” he said, sliding down to tease her nipple. “You have two left.”
She squirmed beneath him, raking her hands into his hair and tugging his head until he was looking up at her. “I’m saving one for another time, but for right now, I wish you’d make love to me.”
Oh, he was going to. But he was going to bring her to the brink just like she was doing to him. And as he kissed his way back down her body, he whispered, “As you wish.”

Here's a little excerpt for you!
“I’m ridiculous, right?”
Austin picked up his glass and smiled at her. “Not at all. I think it’s kind of cute.”
“Cute?” Her dark eyes went wide as if he’d insulted her.
With a kiss to the tip of her nose, he nodded. “Yeah. Cute.”
Mia took a sip of her wine before putting the glass down. “I’m not sure I like that description. Puppies are cute. Kittens are cute. A grown woman should not be described as cute.”
Was she really getting this upset over a word?
“To be fair, I didn’t say you were cute. I said it was cute that you wanted to escort your wedding gown into Sydney’s house and snuck in a little time with Jax.” He shrugged. “If I were to describe you, it would be sexy, beautiful, curvy…” He paused for dramatic effect. “And delicious.” Austin’s voice dropped enough to let her know exactly what he was thinking.
And because they were so completely in sync with each other, her smile turned a little teasing. “Hmm…those are definitely much better descriptions.” One perfectly manicured finger tapped her lips. “Now, how would I describe you?” Her voice turned soft and sultry as she moved in close to him.
She smelled so good, and he wanted to simply pick her up and take her to bed, but this kind of teasing banter was one of the best types of foreplay.
“Not to be unoriginal, but…you’re sexy,” she began, placing one soft hand on his chest. “And very muscly.”
“Is that even a word?” he whispered, placing a kiss along her jaw.
“Uh-huh. I’m a writer. I know words,” she murmured as her head fell back slightly.
Austin continued to kiss her–along her jaw, her throat, the shell of her ear. “Go on.”
“Hmm?”
“You were describing me and stopped at sexy.”
Her laugh was low and husky. “Don’t forget muscly.”
“Mm-hmm…”
“Strong…hot…” Mia gently nudged his chin to get his attention, and when their eyes met, she added, “And you’re delicious too.”
The look on her face, the husky voice…it was like hitting the launch button. Scooping her up in his arms, he turned and strode from the room.
“Ooh…you made a fire,” she said, breaking through the sexy haze.
“Um…yeah.” Then he remembered setting a romantic scene so they could celebrate.
That’s when the idea came to him.
Carefully, he made his way across the living room and placed Mia on the end of the sofa closest to the fireplace. “Wait right there,” he told her before going back to the kitchen to get their wine. Once she was holding her glass, he placed his on the coffee table and said, “One more minute,” before going to the bedroom. The thought of whipping their comforter off the bed was tempting, but he took the few extra steps to their closet and found the cashmere blanket they sometimes kept at the foot of the bed before heading back to the living room.
He stopped in the doorway and looked at her–thankful their bedroom was so close by–and thought she’d never looked lovelier. The light of the fire gave her an ethereal glow as she slowly sipped her wine, and if they weren’t already engaged to be married, this would have been the moment he proposed.
Casually, he walked back into the room and placed the blanket on the floor in front of the fireplace before kneeling in front of Mia.
“You know what I’m finding is the best thing about planning this wedding?” she softly asked, caressing his cheek.
“No, what?”
Leaning in until she was pressed against him, she replied, “How there is always something to celebrate.” She kissed him. “And I really love the way we celebrate.”
Another kiss.
This time, he deepened it and carefully maneuvered her off the sofa and onto the floor with him. Most of the main living area had hardwood floors, but they had the plushest area rug he had ever felt over by the sofas. It was the only reason he considered moving them from the furniture.
There was nothing rushed; they had all the time in the world. Instead, they shared lazy kisses as they undressed each other He slowly peeled the pants down Mia’s legs, and when he looked down at her, he was reminded of their first date.
Not that he’d gotten her naked that night, but they had sat out on the deck by candlelight and he’d been struck by how incredibly beautiful she looked.
Just like she did now.

Snowy Ever After Excerpt
Want a taste of Snowy Ever After? Here is an excerpt!
Wrapping her arms around him, she did her best to hold him and let him have his moment of defeat. She felt his tears on her skin and she had no words, so she stroked one hand up and down his back while the other gently scratched through his hair. Mia knew how much he normally loved when she did that and hoped it was helping even a little bit right now.
When he lifted his head several minutes later, he looked just as devastated as he had before. Then, wordlessly, he took her by the hand and led her over to the couch and gently pulled her down with him. “I don’t even know what to say,” he quietly admitted.
With her head on his shoulder, she sighed. “There’s nothing really to say. Mother Nature is doing her thing and there’s nothing we can do about it. If it stopped snowing right now and somehow the town managed to get several plows going, I still don’t think things would work.”
“I hate feeling this helpless. I keep trying to think of what we can do–who we can call–but there isn’t anyone. I’ve never been in this kind of situation before and I don’t like it. I hate that I let you down.”
Twisting, she looked up at him. “Austin, how on earth did you let me down?” She scanned his face. “You’re a very impressive and powerful man, but let’s be honest, you don’t control the weather.”
The smile he gave her was small, but at least he was smiling.
Swallowing hard, Mia continued to look at him. “It’s out of our hands, and all we can do is wake up tomorrow and try to pick up the pieces and figure out how we move forward from here.” Pausing, she chuckled. “Thank God I’m so ridiculously obsessive about insurance, huh? Hopefully we won’t lose all the money we paid out.”
The scowl on his face told her he wasn’t amused.
“Oh, come on,” she whined, pushing away from him. “I have to try to find the silver lining; otherwise, I’m just going to curl up in a ball and cry all night.”
“Maybe that’s not such a bad idea,” he murmured, standing up. Mia watched as he walked to the kitchen and began turning off all the lights. When they were practically in the dark, he was standing in front of her, holding out his hand. “Come on, beautiful girl. Let’s go to bed.”
It was the first time in…well…ever…that those words didn’t inspire any sexy time. She knew they would go to bed and simply hold each other while they took turns crying.
It was the perfectly depressing way to end an even more depressing day, but she wasn’t going to fight it. Deep down, she knew he was right. Maybe if she let herself cry it out, tomorrow she’d be able to hold it together when all the decisions had to be made. So with a sigh of resignation, Mia put her hand in his as she came to her feet. Together, they slowly made their way to the bedroom.
Neither said a word as they went through their regular routines–brushing their teeth, getting undressed–and when they crawled into bed and met in the middle, she found that she felt utterly lost and yet completely comforted at the same time. Together they had weathered so many things, and they’d handle this as well. It was the first time, however, that Austin was just as emotional as she was and it was heartbreaking to watch her strong man crumble like this.
So for tonight, they would hold each other and shed all their tears. And maybe–just maybe–tomorrow would be a better day.

It’s Christmastime again in Silver Bell Falls and the whole town is getting in the spirit to help ballet teacher Abby Foster achieve her dream of opening her own dance studio!
Dancing has been Abby’s dream for her entire life – but more than anything, she wanted that dream in her beloved hometown of Silver Bell Falls. Teaching ballet to children at the community center is fine, but she’ hoping for so much more – her own studio, her own business…not to mention maybe meeting Mr. Right and having a family of her own. For almost a year, she’s been picturing Dean Hayes in that role and if he wasn’t such a darn recluse, maybe she’d have a chance.
Solitude and Dean Hayes have always gone hand-in-hand. It wasn’t by choice, but because of circumstances beyond his control. And once again, things are out of his control when he finds himself being named permanent guardian for his five year old niece just in time for the holidays. Dean had always imagined that he’d have a family of his own someday, just not quite like this. With the support of his hometown friends, he knows he’s going to be okay. But it’s Abby’s help with his niece that’s making the biggest difference.
This isn’t the Christmas either of them has planned, but maybe it’s the chance for the most perfect one yet!
