This song was written and recorded in 2013 on a moving train between Winslow, AZ and Barstow, CA as part of Doug Aitken’s Station To Station. Station To Station is happening again now at the Barbican in London and The Vinyl Factory just pressed 300 12” copies of the song which you can order now HERE.

This song would eventually become Beaten 1979.

Cold Cave will perform at FYF Fest in Los Angeles on Saturday, Aug 22 2015 along with Morrissey, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Spiritualized, and many more.

Full Cold Moon to be released on Vinyl

 

Deathwish will release “Full Cold Moon” for the first time on 12”LP vinyl format with an alternate cover (a CD collection was released via Heartworm Press in 2014).

“Full Cold Moon” is a compilation of EP recordings originally individually released in 2013, now presented as one collection; “A Little Death to Laugh”, “Oceans With No End”, “God Made the World”, “Black Boots”, and “Nausea, the Earth and Me”. Notably this is also the first vinyl appearance of the song “Dandelion” as well as the entire “Nausea, the Earth and Me” EP (previously only available on limited CD and Digital formats). This is Cold Cave at it’s most artistically skeletal, similar to the celebrated “Cremations” and “Love Comes Close” releases. Twelve minimal compositions driven by Eisold’s synth derived hooks, alluring vocals, and compelling character.
