Pandrogeny

Wesley Eisold will be in conversation with Genesis Breyer P-Orridge at the opening of her PANDROGENY exhibition presented by Tom Of Finland and Lethal Amounts. Tickets are available HERE.

Please join us for this special retrospective art exhibition encompassing a selection of P-Orridge’s original paintings, photos, sculptures, and installations. The show, which includes works spanning from 1986 to 2016, will be P-Orridge’s first on the west coast, having previously shown Pandrogeny I & II in 2017 at New York’s Rubin Museum of Art to record attendance.

Genesis has been a major influence on us, not just in Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV, but in her poetry, art, guidance and beyond.

Love Comes Closer

Love Comes Close, the classic synth-pop album by COLD CAVE, was self-released in 2009 through Heartworm Press and licensed by Matador Records. On Nov. 5 2019, Heartworm is proud to re-release the album in a deluxe gatefold 2XLP format which includes everything from that era: Love Comes Close LP, Death Comes Close EP and The Trees Grew Emotions and Died B-sides. The album has been remastered and cut by Bob Weston at Chicago Mastering Service. Available to pre-order now.

After the success of the COLD CAVE x Blackbird incense collaborations, we grew obsessed with the idea of turning the DEATH incense into a black perfume. After months in the making we are happy to announce that it is here and Blackbird has once again succeeded in an original and evocative scent that is both romantic and emblematic of all things Death. Black is the night is the death of the day. Leather is the skin we are imprisoned in. Marble is the stone in which we immortalize our souls. And Sage is the ritual in which we cleanse, heal and begin again.

Promised Land

We’re putting out a new single today. It’s called Promised Land and it’s my favorite song yet. Travis Shinn and Jeremy Danger shot at a video for it in a barren California desert. They wanted to make a video that was only lit by roman candles and I took the bait. They assured us they didn’t hurt but it’s not entirely true. I caught on fire a few times and had to visit the tailor to fix the burn holes in my jacket afterwards.

This song is written by Amy and I. Actually, I was in my head a little too much and not feeling productive and had a nice talk with Mark Lanegan about being too much in the head and it was inspiring enough to produce this song. Chris Coady mixed it at Sunset Sound and Bob Weston mastered it.

Blackbird / Cold Cave in Love and Death

Happy to announce the Blackbird / Cold Cave collaboration of two incenses, LOVE and DEATH. We are huge fans of Blackbird and have been burning their scents on stage for a while now. For the past six months Amy and I have been working together with henry and Nicole of Blackbird on these special scents which will be available on tour to commemorate the Love Comes Close / Death Comes Close shows at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
