Providence took me six months to write, but I was writing for myself, to answer a question I had in my own mind. I was inspired to write it. Out of the Ashes took me four years to complete, between having children and working a full-time job. I wrote chapters here and there as they came to me. Out of the Ashes is by far my favorite of the three novels I've written and I believe it's because I didn't put that pressure on myself to complete it. I wrote from the heart and that translated onto paper. (less)
