Teaseday – Hot teaser excerpt from Hunter’s Moon – Vampire / Werewolf Romance Book
Today’s tease comes from my werewolf / vampire romance book, Hunter’s Moon, which is the ninth book in my Vampires Realm romance series. Read on for this Tuesday’s tease…
The werewolf disappeared into the bathroom, leaving the door ajar, and water ran into the bathtub.
Tatyana looked around the cabin. It was small, but it was probably all that he needed, and more than he’d had in his homeland. This was luxury to him. A home of his own, away from vampire rule, free of the whip and the chains.
She stared at the crack in the door. The water shut off and she heard him step into the bath. She tried not to picture him reclining in bubble-topped bathwater, leaning against the beaten white metal, his eyes closed and dark hair slicked back. Some of her kind would even consider that a sin. She didn’t. Fantasy wasn’t a crime. Fantasy was what led to a crime when the dreamer forgot the law. She wouldn’t do such a thing. She had never broken a rule in her life, and she wasn’t going to start now.
She wasn’t.
No matter how attractive he was.
She brought one of the bags of blood to her lips, extended her fangs, and punctured the plastic. She sucked slowly on it, her eyes slipping shut as the first delicious drop touched her tongue. Bliss. Without thinking, she released a low moan of pleasure and sighed. Blood had never tasted so sweet.
Her eyes opened, the room bright and sharp now that they had changed to their true state. She focused on the werewolf, listening to his strong heart beating steadily against his chest, remembering the taste of his blood. Powerful. Intoxicating. She had never drunk werewolf blood before. She had never realised how good it would taste. The elders of her bloodline made it sound disgusting, and made it clear that desiring to drink it, to be close to a werewolf, was despicable and disloyal.
What did that make her?
Her head was full of him, her mind racing forwards to imagine that it was his neck her fangs had punctured, not a chilled plastic pack. It was his blood on her tongue, reviving her strength, not a month old donation.
And he tasted divine.
Tatyana started when she sensed the werewolf stand. How long had she been focused on him? Water ran down into the bath and she caught a flash of bare skin through the gap in the door. It was quiet in the cabin for a moment and then he walked into the room.
Naked.
He evidently didn’t care whether people saw him nude. Either that or he was inviting her glances, which was ridiculous since he hated her. She was a vampire and he was clearly an older generation werewolf. There was no way he would want her looking at him. Unless he was playing with her.
Some of the male werewolves back at her bloodline’s mansion did such things. They waited until the shift change between werewolves and vampires, when she arrived with other female guards to prepare for the night ahead, and then showered openly in front of them and paraded around. They did it to embarrass the women and tempt them with forbidden fruit.
She had never bothered to look at them during her time as a guard. She had always abided by the rules and their bare bodies hadn’t interested her. When she had caught glimpses of them, unable to look away quickly enough, she had felt nothing and hadn’t looked twice at any them.
Yet she couldn’t stop looking at him.
Tatyana stared at her knees, ignoring his nudity as he crossed the room, rubbing his dark locks with a pale towel. Her attempt to avoid looking at him failed. She snuck a glance at him out of the corner of her eye and frowned at how good he looked. He was beautiful, sculpted to perfection, his lithe toned body speaking of the power that she could feel in him. The allure of him was more than physical. His scent, the raw strength that flowed through him with each step, and his physique all combined into a deadly mix that tempted her. He was intrinsically masculine. Enthralling. Everything about him awakened forbidden feelings in her. She denied them but couldn’t control her desire to look on him as easily. Her gaze steadily fell, taking in the defined muscles of his broad chest and then traversing the rolling peaks of his abdomen. They led her eye onwards to the ridge of muscle over his hip and she followed it downwards. She forced her attention back to her knees.
She was not going to stare at him there.
It was wrong of her to think such things about him or to look at him with any sense of desire.
He disappeared through the other door. When he returned, he was wearing loose grey sweatpants.
And nothing else.
Tatyana sucked furiously on the blood pack and stared at his neck. He rubbed it, a frown marring his handsome face, and a stab of guilt lanced her chest. He thought that she hated his blood. What would he do if she told him it was quite the opposite? Whenever she said something to upset his carefully constructed and antiquated opinion of her kind, he turned jittery. If she confessed that she was thinking about sucking on his neck as she drank from the cold pack, and that she couldn’t tear her eyes away from him, he would probably leave the room, or even the cabin.
It would be worth it just to see his reaction.

Hunter’s Moon
F E Heaton
The horror of the night he failed to save his werewolf pack from the cruelty of their vampire masters has haunted Nicolae for one hundred years, driving him deep into the Canadian wilderness in search of peace. That peace is threatened when unfamiliar hunters and the scent of blood lead him to a beautiful woman and a hard decision—face his past and help her or risk losing everyone he cares about again.
Bearing a heart filled with grief and with vengeance on her mind, Tatyana is intent on killing the hunters she’s tracking and returning to her vampire bloodline, but her plan didn’t include being shot with poisoned arrows or rescued by a glowering alpha werewolf who stirs forbidden hunger in her.
When the hunters make their move, will Nicolae be able to stop them before it’s too late? Will he be able to overcome the darkness in his heart and embrace his desire for a vampire? And can Tatyana face her fears and risk her life for the sake of forbidden love?

Sensual Sunday – Scorching hot excerpt from Her Demonic Angel (Her Angel Romance Series Book 5)
Sensual Sunday is brought to you today by Her Demonic Angel, which is the fifth book in my popular Her Angel romance series. Sensual Sunday’s always feature a hot excerpt from one of my paranormal romance books. Read on for this Sunday’s sensual snippet… it’s a scorching hot one today!!!
Veiron’s hands came to rest on either side of Erin’s head and pressed hard into the mattress, his body poised above hers. Erin lay beneath him, her eyes fixed on his, mesmerised by how the fiery flakes swirled against their blood red backdrop. Strands of his crimson hair fell down to brush his cheek and caress his forehead, giving her an excuse that she was quick to take. She raised her hand and swept them away, her fingertips lightly brushing his golden skin.
Crimson wings framed him, spread wide so they drifted down on either side of her, blocking her view of the room and keeping her focus solely on Veiron.
He was beautiful.
Black pupils swallowed some of the colour in his irises, conveying his desire as clearly as the rigid length pressed between her legs. All that separated her and his delicious body was a thin sheet and his jeans, and Erin wanted to tear both items away. She ached with the hunger to run her fingers over every inch of Veiron’s bare flesh and to follow her hands with her mouth, tasting his skin and putting all of him to memory. She burned to explore him and seek out the things that gave him the most pleasure. What would make him close his eyes and hiss in satisfaction? The brush of her nails over his pebbled nipples? The swirl of her moist tongue over the soft blunt head of his cock? A rough thrust of her hand down his rigid length? Did he like a gentle lover or a savage one?
Erin wanted to know it all.
She wanted to know all of him.
Veiron leaned down towards her, his long dark lashes falling to shutter his beautiful irises. Erin raised her hands and gently ran her palms down the arch of each crimson wing, delighting in the softness of his feathers. Veiron stopped dead, his breathing a trembling unsteady sound that equally delighted her. Taylor was wrong about this man. He didn’t need a strong lover, not in the way Taylor had meant. He needed someone strong of heart, someone who shared the depth of his emotions and his need for more than just physical contact when making love.
He needed someone who accepted all of him, who felt as strongly as he did, ruled by their emotions and desires.
Erin was that woman.
She lowered her hands, brushing his feathers, and dropped them to his shoulders. From there, she coursed them up his strong thick neck to his cheeks and settled them close to the straight cut of his jaw and held him, waiting for him to emerge and look at her. His lashes slowly lifted, revealing his breathtaking eyes, and they locked with hers.
Erin gently drew him down to her. He moved slowly and with infinite care, lowering himself to his elbows and supporting his weight off her. She held his gaze, bringing him closer, until his breath mixed with hers and she could no longer focus on him. Then she closed her eyes, raised her head and swept her lips across his.
He moaned and shuddered, his reaction more intense than when she had touched his wings for the very first time.
Erin kept her hands against his face, holding him at a distance, stopping him from seizing control of the kiss. She had no doubt in her mind that he could if he truly wanted to, but he seemed content to let her have her way. She lightly brushed her lips across his, teasing him with the whisper of contact, and savoured the taste of him, all masculine heat and spice. He groaned, fisted his hands in her short dark hair and ground against her. That was cheating. Erin’s attempt to keep things high in the emotional side of intimacy failed. She swung straight over to the physical, driven by the feel of his long hard cock rubbing between her thighs and his fingers tangling in her hair. She tried to keep the kiss light but slipped and found herself craning her neck and plunging her tongue into his mouth.
Veiron snarled, tugged her head back and kissed her. Really kissed her.
Erin couldn’t remember the last time a man had dominated her and she had enjoyed it so much. His tongue thrust past her lips and teeth, hot and probing, forcing her into submission and stealing her breath. One strong hand left her black hair and pushed beneath her, settling in the arch of her back. He dragged her up to him, so hard that not a wisp of air remained between them and she could feel every sexy inch of naked steely muscle pressing against her bare flesh. His fingertips dug into her back, his grip sending thoughts of him holding her forever and never letting her go through her mind.
Possessive.
It thrilled her.
Veiron slanted his head and kissed that thought away. Every rational thought left with it, vacating her head, forced out by an intense need to surrender to her passion and desire for this man. If she did, it would be the most incredible experience of her life.
“I need to taste you,” he whispered against her lips, voice roughened by passion, hunger filling each syllable.
Erin could only moan her response, feeling his need echo deep in her veins. She needed to taste every inch of him too.
He devoured her jaw, mouth hard and rough, and followed the line of her neck. He paused near her collarbone, licking the flickering pulse point on her throat. Erin shuddered and couldn’t stop herself from wrapping her legs around his hips. He groaned and she tightened her grip, thighs pressing hard against his hips, feet hooked over his backside.
Veiron pulled on her hair again, bending her head right back, and pressed his tongue into her vein.
“Fuck, I need to taste you.” He growled and wrapped his lips around her throat, tongue laving and teasing, hot and wet against her flesh.
A light clicked on in Erin’s head. He wasn’t talking about the sort of tasting she was. Simple licking and kissing, and maybe the odd nip with blunt teeth wasn’t at the forefront of his mind.
Veiron wanted to bite her.

Unleash (Vampire Erotic Theatre Romance Series Book 6) Blurb reveal with added teaser excerpt!
So we’re closing in on May 18th and I’m sure everyone’s patience is beginning to wear thin as you wait for Snow’s book to be released. Today, I’m going to reveal the blurb for this vampire romance novel here at my blog, and give you another tease from the book to keep you all salivating over it. Don’t forget if you sign up to my newsletter / mailing list before April 30th, you’ll receive the first five chapters of Unleash in your inbox, plus you’ll be in with a chance to win signed paperback copies of the novel.
Without further ado, here’s a little insight into what’s in store in Snow’s novel! Oh, and a slightly longer than a tease teaser.
Unleash (Vampire Erotic Theatre Romance Series Book 6)
A powerful vampire lost deep in his bloodlust, Snow is a savage animal, mindless with rage and a thirst for violence, and trapped with no hope of awakening from an endless nightmare… until a song draws him up from the abyss, restoring his sanity but leaving him haunted by the sweet feminine scent of lilies and snow, and fragmented familiar lyrics.
When the mysterious and beautiful songstress reappears in Snow’s room at Vampirerotique, she awakens a fierce protective streak and stirs dark desires that drive him to claim her as his female, even when he knows his touch will destroy her innocence.
A single forbidden taste is all it takes to unleash emotions in Aurora that she shouldn’t possess, tearing her between duty and desire, and luring her into surrendering to her wildfire passion and embracing hungers that burn so hotly they threaten to consume them both.
One act of kindness can lead to one thousand acts of sin though, each a black mark against the bearer’s soul and another grain of sand that slips through an hourglass. The clock is ticking and time is almost up. Can beauty save the beast?
Teaser Excerpt
Snow scrubbed the towel over his hair and then dried himself off with one hand. He swiped his free palm across the clouded mirror, clearing enough to reveal his reflection and the main room of his apartment through the open door behind him.
He never liked to look at himself, normally hated seeing his reflection and seeing his mother’s eyes and hair, knowing what he had done to her, but he sometimes felt the need to look and remind himself of what he had done.
A twisted form of punishment.
He dropped the damp towel, pressed both palms against the edge of the black counter, and leaned forwards over the sink, staring hard at his reflection.
A face his mother had often called angelic.
The face of a cold-blooded murderer.
Snow growled and slammed his right fist into his face in the mirror, splintering the glass. Fire seared his knuckles and blood instantly ran down the shards of mirror. He pulled his fist back and plucked a sliver of glass from the soft flesh between his index and middle finger, and dropped it into the sink.
The scent of blood compelled him to taste it, stirring the darkness that constantly lurked within him, stalking just beneath the surface, barely restrained.
He rinsed his bloodied knuckles off in the black oval sink and then inspected them. Two of the cuts were deep. He lifted his hand to his face and sucked those two, drawing more blood to the surface. It tasted foul.
His stomach cramped and he spat the blood into the sink and then swiped his tongue across his knuckles to seal the wounds. The bleeding was already slowing. Within a few minutes, his flesh would begin to knit itself back together and heal.
He took a small towel and wrapped it around his hand, and then strolled naked into his bedroom. The bed loomed directly in front of him. He had promised Antoine that he would sleep and he meant to keep that promise.
He veered right, heading for the ebony chest of drawers that lined the black wall there next to his elegant wardrobe. He pulled out one of the smaller drawers at the top, fished a fresh pair of black boxers out, and shut it again. Someone spoke in the hall. Snow paused and listened. Callum was talking to Payne as they walked along the hall towards Callum’s apartment beyond Snow’s one. Discussing children.
Payne had taken responsibility for the witch’s youngling? Snow had never pictured the young vampire as a father. He had always imagined him to be more of a bachelor forever type because of his incubus blood.
Was everyone going to settle down and produce offspring now?
Snow tugged his boxer shorts on. They were all going to leave him behind. Everyone had a female now, something warm and tender in their lives. They were complete.
Where did that leave Snow?
With a frustrated growl, he pulled his wardrobe doors open, grabbed fresh bed linen from the stack he kept at the bottom, and slammed them shut again. What did he care about females? No female in her right mind would want him, and he certainly did not want a female.
He could never trust himself with something so weak and breakable.
He lumbered across his room, bare feet thumping against the wooden floor, and dumped the black linen beside his bed. He stripped the soiled covers off and focused on replacing them with fresh ones to keep his mind off a topic that had often angered him.
He had warred with himself many times about finding a female, debating the pros and cons of such a mission, and all the possible outcomes. It was highly likely that a female would leave him the moment she discovered the ugly truth about him, his bloodlust, and his horrific past.
He would probably react to her betrayal by losing his head to bloodlust and killing her.
He had a tendency to react violently whenever someone sought to hurt him.
Breaking his heart would cause him the ultimate pain.
Snow shook that thought away and smoothed the edges of his black covers down, neatening them. He grabbed his black robe and slung it on, but didn’t bother to fasten the belt.
Darkness swirled inside him like a rising tide that he was powerless to hold back. He breathed slowly, trying to work past the tightening knot in his breast, hoping to calm down before he lost himself again.
He sat on the bed and lay with his back against the pillows and his head against the steel bars of the headboard. He cast a glance at the restraints that rested on the pillows on either side of him. They were there if he needed them and that gave him back a fraction of his control, but didn’t quell his rising bloodlust.
His heart galloped, refusing to heed his attempts to slow it, and he closed his eyes and focused on positive things. The battle between his darker hungers and his desire to remain sane intensified and he breathed harder, drawing deep and filling his lungs with cool air. The soft scent of lilies and snow lingered in that air and his mind drifted to the lyrics of the song.
Calm swept through him, driving back the darkness for a brief second before it surged forwards again, obliterating the sense of peace.
A breeze washed over his bare flesh.
Snow frowned. There were no windows in his room. The breeze carried the unmistakable scent of snow yet it felt warm, and familiar.
Someone was in his apartment. He felt their presence as a soft caress that reached right down to his tainted soul and chased the black shadows from it.
Snow drew in a deeper breath of lily of the valley and snow, the pure feminine scent stirring his body and soothing the tension from it. He held it in his lungs and slowly opened his eyes, settling them directly on the dark beauty standing at the foot of his bed.
She was stunning, with a fall of glossy raven hair that playfully curled around slender shoulders and contrasted against her milky skin, heart-shaped rosy lips, a button nose, and the most incredible yet familiar eyes. They were turquoise around the outside but faded to a brilliant blue at their centres, around the dark mesmerising chasms of her pupils.
A pure white dress clung to dangerous curves and full breasts that would make any man’s eyes linger on her, evoking images in his head that he shouldn’t entertain but couldn’t keep at bay. He had never seen a female like her.
The white layers of her dress criss-crossed over her torso, forming a zigzagging line downwards from between the swell of her creamy breasts to the point above her navel. They flowed from there, free and untamed, drifting down to caress her ankles and her small bare feet.
Beautiful.
Are you looking forward to Snow’s book?

Teaseday – Exclusive excerpt from my vampire romance novel Masquerade (Vampires Realm Romance Series Book 10)
Today’s tease comes from the book Masquerade, which is the tenth book in my Vampires Realm romance series.
Here’s some scene setting. Sophis and Vivek, two guards of the Venia bloodline of vampires, have been at war for the past decade, ever since a run in with two hunters almost cost Sophis her life. Sophis has grown tired of Vivek’s behaviour towards her and is determined to prove that she isn’t a weak female and the two of them have just come to blows once again, and were caught by their superior and ordered to patrol St Petersburg together… and in the dead of night, they come across one of the hunters.
He trailed behind Sophis as she continued down the incline to the river, his gaze scanning the parked cars that lined the residential street. The lights hanging above the middle of the road were brighter here, punctuating the darkness at intervals and even reaching the pavement. A breeze swept up from the river, pungent with the scent of the water, but carrying a familiar undertone.
A vampire hunter he knew well.
Aleksis Romanov.
When had he returned to Saint Petersburg?
Vivek focused all his senses on Sophis, using the intensity of them to silently signal her. She slowed to a halt and looked back over her shoulder at him. He motioned for her to remain there and swept his senses out again. The man was on the move and not far from them. Vivek studied his surroundings, looking for possible avenues of escape or hiding places. Few and far between. The river was barely two hundred metres away and the edge of the road that lined it was even closer still. If Aleksis had his wits about him, he would be aware of them the moment he crossed the road to continue along the river. Even with their preternatural speed, they wouldn’t reach the crossroads behind them before Aleksis came into view.
Vivek caught Sophis’s arm and ran down the sloping street with her, heading towards the hunter. His senses screamed a warning at him but he kept running, silent and fast, aiming for the rear of a white van less than one hundred metres from the intersection.
Sophis gasped behind him as the dark haired man appeared in view at the bottom of the road, his hands tucked into the front pockets of his thick black wool coat and the upturned collar obscuring the lower half of his face. Vivek tugged her to one side, behind the large parked van, and pressed her against the doors. He held her there, his senses locked on the vampire hunter, monitoring him in case he had spotted them. The feel of Sophis against him, her chest rising and falling with her rapid breathing, threatened to bring back their fight and how intoxicating it had felt to have her pinned beneath him. He shoved the feelings away, locking them out of his mind along with his earlier epiphany about why he wanted Sophis off the guard, and forced himself to remain focused on the vampire hunter.
He drew a slow deep breath through his nose, catching the man’s scent. It held an underlying note of vampire. Not a weakling vampire either. It was Venia this man smelt like. Had he been fighting one of the city patrols this evening? Aleksis was foolish enough to go after Vivek’s kind, the pureblood vampires.
Back when Vivek had first encountered the man, the pure bloodlines hadn’t known of the existence of enhanced hunters. The fact that he had survived their first battle had only added to the suspicion the bloodlines had about the hunters after the sudden increase in the numbers of those capable of fighting purebloods around thirty years ago. It was only recently that they had discovered why vampire hunters had become so strong.
Someone had been playing God, tampering with their DNA to include genetic code taken from vampires. The result of the mutation didn’t give him the strength of a pureblood, but it did elevate the human to a level similar to a weakling vampire and made him more of a threat to Vivek’s kind.
When the Law Keepers had discovered this, they had created a database and given all seven pure bloodlines access so they could add information as they gathered it. It detailed known abilities and skills, marked the hunter as an enhanced or normal human, and provided locations they had been spotted. Aleksis’s name was on that register. It was proving useful even in its infancy. They had even granted the werewolves permission to use it and the dogs had provided some extremely useful information about hunters they had encountered. Allied in this war against the new threat of the vampire hunters, his kind were armed with the knowledge and the power to eradicate them before they became a danger.
Aleksis Romanov would die but not until his traits had been documented and his allies exposed.
Vivek wanted that mission.
He wanted vengeance.
Sophis stared beyond his shoulder with wide ice-blue eyes, her body trembling against his, betraying the fact that she had sensed the vampire hunter now disappearing from view behind the set of buildings to Vivek’s right and she feared him.
Aleksis Romanov would die by Vivek’s hand with the dagger he kept locked in a box in his quarters.
The same dagger the vampire hunter had used on Sophis over a decade ago.
Her shaking hand brushed Vivek’s hip as she brought it to rest over the left side of her stomach. Her skin drained of colour.
Without considering the consequences, Vivek placed his hand against her cheek and brought her head around so she faced him. Her pale eyes met his and the look in them compelled him to fulfil her silent request. It was strange to see her so afraid, so weak, and even stranger to have her relying on his strength.
“I will not let him near you,” Vivek whispered, so low it was barely audible even to their heightened hearing. “He will lead us to his fellow hunters. We must follow him. Are you able to proceed?”
She was still for a few seconds, the look in her eyes and her feelings on his senses flitting between panic and resolve to face her past, and then nodded.
Vivek lingered.
He looked at his hand where it cupped her soft cool cheek and the dark thread of blood just above his thumb. Temptation to sweep the pad of his thumb over it, to tell her that he hadn’t meant to draw blood and that it hadn’t just been because he knew the scent of it would distract him during their fight, overwhelmed him but he battled it. Sophis would never believe him capable of the feeling behind his desire to protect her. Not tonight anyway. With their fight and the sight of him with Ella so fresh in her mind, she would deny him if he foolishly tried to give her even the most miniscule clue as to his newly discovered feelings for her.
It was a risk he wasn’t willing to take, not when he wasn’t sure of his feelings himself. The fight had worked him up and the scent of her blood had driven him wild with need, and neither feeling had faded completely. He was still on edge, still hungry for blood and a battle to the death. There was a chance that anything he thought and anything he felt were just a result of that.
He didn’t believe himself capable of that sort of feeling either, at least not for Sophis.
He didn’t want to believe.
Vivek let his hand drop from her face, turned away from her and crossed the road to the other side. She remained leaning against the back of the white van for long seconds before pushing away from it. When she joined him, she wouldn’t look at him. Her now dark eyes darted around the street, touching everywhere but on him, and eventually settled on the river.
Sophis motioned for him to follow and he did, remaining close to her this time, no longer willing to risk even a few metres between them. It wasn’t only because Aleksis was a threat to Sophis, and himself. It was because he could still feel the lingering beat of fear in Sophis’s blood. She was putting on a brave face by resuming the lead but she wasn’t fooling him. Her recent ordeal with another vampire hunter hadn’t been enough to have her thinking twice about being out in the city, but the presence of Aleksis certainly was. It was only duty that kept her feet moving forwards rather than retreating to the mansion. If his presence at her side would boost her confidence and give her the strength to continue their mission, then he would stay there, close to her, and he would keep his promise to protect her.
Aleksis would never lay a finger on her again.
He would go against his bloodline’s orders to only track the hunter and gather information on him and would kill him, would watch him bleed out from a dagger in his gut, before he allowed Aleksis to even step within thirty metres of Sophis.
She must have felt his anger again because she glanced back over her slender shoulder at him, rogue strands of her long dark hair obscuring part of her face, and her near-black eyes meeting his for the barest of seconds before she dropped them to rest on the pavement and then turned away again.
His fingers burned with the memory of how soft her skin had felt beneath them.
Did her cheek burn too? Did it ache with the need to have him touch it again, just as he ached with a need to touch her?
Did you enjoy today’s tease?

Special Website Update – New FREE Flash Fiction for Her Angel Romance Series Added
It was my birthday on Sunday, so I decided I would add some special new content to my website to go with all the other updates I’ve been doing recently. I’ve been writing the Her Angel Interludes series for my monthly newsletter that subscribers to my mailing list receive. Each episode is around 1000 words and follows Nevar from the point after his fight against Asmodeus in Her Demonic Angel, the fifth book in my Her Angel romance series.
So far, the only way to read this series has been via the monthly newsletter issues. Now, you can read the first three episodes on my website. I’m writing the fourth instalment today, but again, that will only be available to my newsletter subscribers, so if you enjoy the first three, be sure to sign up before April 16th in order to get the fourth in your inbox and all future episodes. You can sign up at: http://www.felicityheaton.co.uk/newsletter.php

I’ve also been adding other new content. There are character profiles for all the heroes and heroines in the Vampire Erotic Theatre romance series and the Her Angel romance series, and I’ve also added character interviews with some of the heroes and heroines from the Vampire Erotic Theatre romance series. You can read interviews with Javier, Lilah, Callum and Kristina right now. I’ll be adding more as the year progresses, as well as other flash fiction from other series, and more character profiles, and also background information about the worlds I write.

Sensual Sunday – Hot excerpt from Her Dark Angel (Her Angel romance series book 1)
Sensual Sunday is brought to you today by Her Dark Angel, which is the first book in my popular Her Angel romance series. Sensual Sunday’s always feature a hot excerpt from one of my paranormal romance books. Read on for this Sunday’s sensual snippet… In which Apollyon, an angel from the division of death and one of the most powerful in existence, decides to make Serenity’s cheating ex-boyfriend jealous by dancing with her, under the pretence of giving her the revenge she desires…
“Do you think we should dance?” There was a nervous edge to her expression and her gaze flickered past him, over his shoulder.
“Is he still watching?” Apollyon could already feel the man’s gaze on his back.
She nodded.
“Then we should definitely dance.”
She hesitated. “Is it okay to dance… to do any of this?”
How many times was she going to ask him the same question? His answer wasn’t going to change. Whatever she wanted, he would do it.
Apollyon took hold of her hand, stood and walked around the table to her. His smile seemed to give her the answer that she was looking for, bringing another dark blush to her cheeks, and she slipped from her stool and followed his lead towards the dance floor.
The music was heavier now, harder, and slower. The people on the dance floor were bordering on clothed sex again and, for a moment, he wondered if it really was a good idea. He wasn’t sure where a dance would lead, but the look in Serenity’s eyes said that wherever it took them, it wasn’t pretend.
He pulled her into his arms, so her hands were against his chest, and stood there with her, looking down into her wide eyes. Her pupils dilated, darkening her irises, full of passion and hunger that he could feel beating in her heart.
Whenever she let go of her nerves and of the fact that he was an angel, she was more confident, sensual in her movements and almost flirtatious in her air around him. He wanted her like that now, and not because it would make Edward jealous to see it.
Apollyon slid his hands down to her waist from her ribs, and over her hips. She felt too good beneath his touch. Her eyelids slipped to half-mast and her palms pressed against his chest, not on his suit but on his armour. Did she like the feel of his hands on her?
He tightened his grip on her hips and drew her against him, starting to move slowly to the heavy beat. Her hands slid up over his breastplate and then over his collarbones towards his neck. He shivered when she lightly swept her fingers across his shoulders, and stepped into him, her body moving against his. Each time they brushed, each step that had them rubbing against each other, drove him a little farther towards the edge of control.
Serenity slipped her hands around the back of his head, twirled the dark hair of his ponytail around her slender fingers, and then settled them against the nape of his neck. He shifted his hands, easing them around her back, until they met in the small of it, feeling the way her hips moved as she danced with him. Her leg slid between his and his between hers, and her eyes half-closed again when he brushed the apex of her thighs. He groaned and moved closer to her, eager to feel the whole of her body against his, his thoughts diving down routes they hadn’t traversed in a long time. How good would she look naked? He wanted to explore every supple inch of her with his mouth and hands, wanted to worship her body until she cried his name and collapsed into his arms.
Apollyon stepped back a little, unable to bear the torture and needing a moment to breathe. He was too close to letting go.
Serenity stared into his eyes, hers full of invite, asking him to give in to her. He would do so willingly if he could be sure that this wasn’t an act. It was a charade, nothing more than pretend so they would make Edward jealous. That was all it was.
So why did it feel so good to have her in his arms?
She ran her hands down over his biceps, slowly, her gaze following her right hand as it traced the curves of his muscles, and her heart beating faster, as though exploring his body excited her. Her eyes darkened and he could feel the hunger in her, could sense the growing need.
Why did his body burn wherever she touched?
His gaze flickered to her mouth.
And why couldn’t he keep his eyes off her cherry red lips and his mind off how good it would feel to dip his head and kiss her?

Her Dark Angel
Felicity Heaton
An angel trapped in Hell for centuries, Apollyon is tired of guarding the Devil. He longs to break free and feel the wind in his feathers, but he cannot leave the endless darkness without permission from above. When he senses someone calling him, he seizes his chance for freedom, but soon discovers the call came from a beautiful woman he has watched over from Hell, a woman who casts a spell on him and awakens the darkest desires of his heart.
Serenity is shocked when a wickedly sensual black-winged angel shows up in her city of Paris claiming that she called him when she was only casting a simple vengeance spell. He’s no other than the angel of death! When the lethally handsome warrior offers to obey her and give her revenge, Serenity can’t resist the temptation, but can she resist the forbidden hungers the dark angel stirs in her?
Intense and passionate, Her Dark Angel is a tale of desire and deepest forbidden love guaranteed to set your heart racing.

Month in Review – March 2013
March was a mixed month for me. I spent most of it working on the edits of Unleash so it will be ready for the May 18th 2013 release date. I also had some time off for good behaviour in Barcelona and Scotland.
During my time off in Barcelona, I devoured the first book in the upcoming Eternal Mates series because I had an urge to read it, even though it’s only first draft right now. I really like this new series and venturing further into the same world as the Vampire Erotic Theatre series is based in. I’m excited about writing the next two books for the series so I can get all three of them released close together.
When I was up in Scotland, I decided to read over the first book in my upcoming Guardians of Hades series. I liked it. It’s a very different feel to the first Eternal Mates book, but I think that’s about the characters. The heroine in the Guardians of Hades book is less spunky than the one in the Eternal Mates series. It’s more like my usual brand of paranormal romance books – less humour, more darkness and drama. I’m also excited about getting more books in the Guardians of Hades series under my belt.
I do feel in a strange place right now with my books. I’m approaching the end of the Vampire Erotic Theatre series with Unleash, even though it’s not the end of those characters as they’ll make appearances in the Eternal Mates series. I’m also getting close to the end of the Her Angel series unless I continue it with another, different story arc. The next book is for Asmodeus and then I might write a book for Nevar. I’ll see how I feel after Asmodeus’s book as that’s a bit of a game changer again. This is one series I write that doesn’t have a defined direction and never has. It sort of grows as I write it and develops its own arc.
I need to write another Vampires Realm series book but I think that series needs a major overhaul in the marketing department at least. It doesn’t sell as well as my Her Angel and Vampire Erotic Theatre series. I think it’s because it’s reached ten books now. It’s more difficult to keep getting good sales figures with the books. I need to think about what to do with it to make it sell better. I do have more books I want to write for that series, so I don’t want to see it die.
Back to positive thoughts…
Unleash is coming along nicely though. I’m feeling the pressure a little with this one, but this is Snow’s book, like it or leave it. It’s what he wanted and it’s his story, and that’s all I can write in the end. I know some readers have very definite ideas of what his story should be, so I hope this doesn’t disappoint. I’m going to have it completed by next week, pending proofreading sessions, and then I can begin working on my next book and put Unleash out of my head until the release day rolls around.
April will hopefully be a better month for me as I’ll get to write again. I hate it when I get stuck in an editing rut and I’m just constantly working on that side of what I do. I like to mix up writing and editing but sometimes it just isn’t possible and I end up spending 8 weeks just editing before I can get writing again. I would hire editors, but to be honest, I don’t think it would save me much time in the end. I would still want to do a full edit as a second draft, and then a second polishing edit, and then rounds of proofreading. I’m obsessed with quality, and don’t feel I’m putting out my best books unless I edit them this many times over so I can catch everything and make it the best it can be.
What I really need is more hours in the day for writing! I’m always desperate to get more books written and have so many on my to write pile… I definitely need more writing time and less time spent on marketing and other things, but that’s the nature of the beast. I have to market my books otherwise they don’t reach readers and sell! I do need to get marketing down to a fine, fast art though, or find a way to get someone else to market for me!
Any suggestions?
