Interview with Rosemary A. Johns, BLOOD SHACKLES

Do you ever wish you were someone else? Who?Firstly – thanks for having me on your site today!
When I was a child, I’d daydream I was someone exciting like a British spy:  a James Bond type. Always in peril. Always fighting villains. And always quick with the one-liners. I guess it’s not a surprise that now I write urban fantasy with a thriller edge. Except with vampires. And Light? He’s more leather jacket than black-tie. More pint than vodka martini. And he definitely doesn’t need a license to kill.
What did you do on your last birthday?Had a wild party, danced all night and ate a huge chocolate cake with candles. Did you spot the lie in the last sentence? OK…lies. Plural. Three of them… I wrote. Like most days. But I did get cake. It wasn’t chocolate. Inside I died a little.I always say please feed me reviews because they’re better than chocolate. See how much I love reading your reviews?
What part of the writing process do you dread?None of it. If I dreaded it, I couldn’t do it. If anyone thinks this is the easy option, they don’t know what goes into it. I’m passionate – all right – obsessed with writing. I always have been. It tells the stories, which are rushing through my mind, like…speeded up movies, which I need to get down. Before they’re lost. I only write about what matters to me. I care about it. It’s from my…whatever it is that wiggles inside us. Deep down.
In the first book in my new fantasy series Rebel Vampires - Blood Dragons - the idea was sparked by my autistic son, who has a photographic memory. Light – the Blood Lifer in both books – has one too. I wondered what it would be like to live through the centuries witnessing glorious wonders and devastating horrors. And remembering everything with the clarity of a photograph.
Rebel Vampires is set in the supernatural world of Blood Life, where vampires are both predator and prey. I love vampires. But I wanted to write a vampire book for adults. Where they were not simply the hunters but also the hunted. Vampires, rebels and romance. Don’t leave out the romance.
In this latest book – Blood Shackles – the idea was sparked by freedom. Or the loss of it. Human trafficking and slavery. But what would happen if it was the Blood Lifers, who could be trafficked? Like Taken with vampires.
I was also fascinated by the different types of freedom we have. Mental, as well as physical. How we give it up when we’re in love – or how love can free us.
Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? If so, what do you do about it?Touch wood – I’ve never suffered so far. My brain’s too busy. If you’re authentic to who you are – and what you want to write – writer’s block is less likely. Know yourself and all that. It’s not easy but you have to stick to what you believe in. Write what you want to read. I love intelligent, dark, subversive books. With antiheroes at their hearts. So that’s what I write.
Tell us about your latest release.Blood Dragons (Rebel Vampires Volume 2) is the standalone second book in my new fantasy series.
It explores a hidden paranormal world in London, where vampires are both predator and prey. It’s a story of redemption and love in a divided world beneath our own. Blood Lifers are a camouflaged species, who use venom to paralyse and mimic heart attacks in First Lifers (humans). Yet they fear the First Lifers they prey on.
I loved the idea of a novel, which was written from the vampire’s perspective in the style of a slave journal.  But which also had a British vampire front and centre. The ultimate anti-hero. A vampire book truly for adults.
What happens when SPARTACUSmeets VAMPIRES? Welcome to the Blood Club…

BLURB:WELCOME TO THE BLOOD CLUB
Light is a Rocker Blood Lifer with a talent for remembering things. He’s meant to be the predator. It’s been that way since Victorian times. But not now. Not since someone hunted him. Enslaved him. Ripped out his fangs. Who are these ruthless humans? Who’s their violent leader? And who betrayed the secret of the Blood Lifer world?
WHERE THE PREDATORS
London, Primrose Hill. Grayse is the commanding but alluring slaver’s daughter. The enemy. She buys Light, like he’s a pair of designer shoes. So why does Light feel so drawn to her? Especially when his family is still in chains. Will he risk everything – even his new love – to save them?
BECOME THE PREY
Does a chilling conspiracy lie behind it all? A stunning revelation leads Light to an inconceivable truth. If he can face his worst terrors, he can save his family and his whole species from slavery.
Maybe he can even save himself.
The third book in the series, BLOOD RENEGADES, will be out Spring 2017.

LYRICAL PRESS ROMANCES featuring Martha Hix, Sabrina Jerema, Jane Goodger

Excerpt from LADY LOST
Lilian would never forget the first time she encountered Marcus Dunford. He was naked and glistening with sweat and the most glorious thing she had ever seen.
Not entirely naked. Had that been the case, she might have fainted dead away and been discovered, no doubt from the thump that would have sounded when she hit the marble floor.
If only her mother could live a few years longer, the girls would be financially set. Their grandmother had settled quite a large sum of money aside for her only grandchildren, but it would only be available to them after they turned twenty-five, and that was seven long years away. Lilian would have happily lived in Cornwall in their little manor house if only her mother would live just a bit longer. But she would not. As much as Lilian tried to deny the truth, it was difficult to ignore that Anne was withering away before her very eyes and it wouldn’t be long before she was bedridden.
Which was why Lilian would say yes if the Duke of Weston proposed and also why, when she saw him talking to another gentleman in the hall, she quickly ducked into the nearest room and hid. Not very adult of her, but there it was. And there she was when two strapping young men entered the room, unbeknownst to Lilian, bragging about which one could do more push-ups.
Lilian had hidden herself behind the curtains of a bow window and was quite obscured by bushes from anyone who might pass by outside and by the heavy velvet curtain from anyone inside. What she hadn’t realized was how very warm she would be in her little hothouse of a hiding place. She quickly became drowsy, and fell asleep, only to be awakened by the low tones of two men, one of whom was counting.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BLURB:
LADY LOST
Seek, and love will find . . .
All Marcus Granton wants is to be left alone to lick his wounds after the humiliating scandal of his wife’s death in another man’s bed. Secluded in his moldering seaside estate on the cliffs of the North Sea, he suddenly finds himself host to Lady Lilian Martin, one small child, and an annoying cache of servants all bent on ruining his solitude. Seems the lady got herself into a bit of a pickle and is accused of murder, of all things. Now she must rely on him for protection—and to keep his thoughts and hands away from her delectable body.
Lilian has no intention of spending any more time with the insufferable Lord Marcus Granton than she has to. But at every turn, circumstances force her into his company, and by the time she’s ready to make her escape, it's far too late for her . . . and her heart.
Interview with Jason Pere, CALLING THE REAPER
Have you ever had an imaginary friend?Not so much and imaginary friend as an imaginary evil doppelganger. His name was Humphry. He owned and operated a dine-in rib joint on the waterfront.
Do you have any phobias?I’m a bit of a scaredy-cat. You could actually say that I am the bravest of cowards. My longest standing phobia was the dark. It was much more profound as a younger child. These days is something that makes me uncomfortable but I can tolerate. I struggle with pitch black, especially in a places that I am unfamiliar with, but I don’t need a night light anymore.
Do you listen to music when you're writing?Some times. If I do I have to listen to something without lyrics. It is easy for me to get distracted if I have too many stimulus present when I am trying to write.
Do you ever read your stories out loud?When I proof my work, reading aloud is the best way for me to pick up any errors in phrasing and sentence structure. As far as reading in general, I tend to stay quiet.
Tell us about your main character and who inspired him/her.We, would you believe that “Calling the Reaper” has eight main characters? The book has a pirate, cowboy, Viking, samurai and several other iconic warrior types. I will admit that I tried to put in some personal elements to my cast, some much more than others though.
BLURB:Eight mortal spirits from vastly different worlds tread the same, inevitable path toward their last, crucial decision. Within them all exists the defining conflict every man must face—to look upon the end of their life with glory and honor, or to give credence to their baser longings, calling the Reaper to their own demise.
In this rich, harrowing tale of pride, deceit, honor, vengeance, and redemption, each individual must battle their inner turmoil, facing the sacrifices they have made before their unavoidable end in the land of the living.
But their last day in life is also their first day of death amidst the terrors of the underworld. Lord Master Death wants them all…and the real battle has only just begun.
#Excerpt: ASMODEUS: The Legend of Margrét and the Dragon by Brooks Hansen
His golden eyes flicked open, blinked, and narrowed to a squint as he finally lifted up his great, horned head. He shrugged the veil of wings. He uncoiled from his most precious gem and lumbered upward, following the airborne trail up through the high tunnel to the opening just beside the cataract.
Only his muzzle appeared at first, shining like tar in the slanting sunlight, but even that merest of appearances stirred notice among the hovering hawks and vultures: Look. Be warned and wary. The master had awakened.
His head slid further out, taking in the day. The clouds had lifted. The sky was polished glass, but the familiar whisper was still there, coming from below. Down on the near shore of the inlet was a scuttled boat. Again his eyes narrowed, trying to figure from the tides just how long ago the wreck had occurred, and whether its victims were still on premise. He hoped not. Men had their place, but it wasn’t here.
He crawled further out onto the ledge and extended his neck toward the curtain of water, which was fuller today than usual, gushing down from the mountains after all that rain. He helped himself to several gulps. He let the bracing cold beat on his head a while, then shook free with a glistening, majestic explosion, lifted his wings and leapt. He glided most of the way down, turning three wide circles in the crux of the fjord, his great spanned shadow dashing along the cliff-side, flicking across the cataract, then across the blue surface below, around and up and around again three times before finally re-meeting him, claw to claw, on the strand beside the boat...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BLURB:
…Here again, his natural figure crouched beside her in the dank darkness of the cave, watching her in silence as she slept, struggling with cravings which were new to him, both tender and violent, and which he could only really compare to hunger… (from ASMODEUS)
On the cusp of the Great War, an even more pitched battle is waged in the furthest corner of the Nordic highlands, the final chapter of a centuries-old rivalry, pitting a troubled bloodline of thieves, journeyman, and politicians against the last and greatest dragon of the hemisphere, Asmodeus.
Until now, the source of this antagonism has been a single gemstone, the fabled shamir, whose history traces to the coffers of King Solomon. The present clash, however, has been sparked by the emergence of an even more desirable, more defiant, and more powerful force than that.
Inspired by the golden legend of St. Margaret, Brooks Hansen’s Asmodeus is a masterfully woven tapestry of history, myth, and fantasy, in the tradition of J.R.R.Tolkien, Bram Stoker, and C.S. Lewis. By turns a romance, an adventure, and the darkest imaginable Gothic, his tale is also, as seen through the eyes of the maiden Margrét, an unflinching exploration of our divided nature — what makes us beasts, what makes us human, and what makes us divine.

Goodreads / Amazon / Barnes & Noble
EXCERPT:We’re not at this café for a normal lunch between a boyfriend and his loyal girlfriend. No, my dear, we’re here for an ambush. A bombshell. A catastrophic turn of events that’s about to turn my uneventful life upside down. And I’m supposed to have words at this point to speak? What are words?
“Mila…”
Ethan utters my name, but I can’t peel my gaze away from the image in front of me. My tunnel vision is focused on the small grayscale picture he slid towards me with guilty eyes a few minutes ago. The picture next to the Cobb salad that will never be eaten and next to the iced tea covered in condensation dripping down the glass, crying for me.
The picture is actually perfectly clear. They say it’s hard to make out anything but blobs of gray in these things, that you can’t see much at this point. But they say a lot of things, like that love conquers all, and all you need is love. Whoever they are, they are full of shit.
I can see everything in the picture so perfectly. The tiny button nose, the delicate fingers, the rounded belly. I can make it all out just fine.
The baby in the ultrasound picture in front of me belongs to my boyfriend.
But the baby in the ultrasound picture doesn’t belong to me.

#Excerpt: PRISM by Matthew D. Ryan

Akarra cut off the deathlight and lowered the Heartshard to the floor in front of her. She passed a cursory glance over the icosahedron, pleased with her work. Then, she expulsed a ripple of joyful golden lifelight. She’d never formed an icosahedron before, and was quite happy with her success.
Yridia smiled then doubled over as she was seized with a round of violent shimmering and coughing again. Her body flickered through a dozen colors, many not from the standard spectrum, but instead a mix from those basic colors. After a moment she straightened, cleared her throat, and said, “You have done well, student. Now name the five perfect solids, describe them, and tell me what they represent.”
It was an easy question, but Akarra bowed her head once again, and dutifully responded, “The first is the tetrahedron; it has four triangular sides and represents fire. The second is the hexahedron; it has six square sides and represents earth. Third is the octahedron with eight triangular sides; it represents air. Fourth is the dodecahedron; it has twelve pentagons for sides and represents ether. Finally, there is the icosahedron which I have just formed here—”she gestured toward the crystal. “It has twenty triangular sides and represents water.”
“Excellent,” Yridia said. “You have done well, student. Now, tell me: Which element can form a dual only with itself?”
Another easy question.

BLURB:
In the mystical realm of the Cavern, Akarra is Shardshaper to the quartzian people who inhabit it. Fashioned from quartz and filled with enchanted light, the quartzians are a strong and hearty people. Akarra is no exception. But when destiny intervenes, she must choose between the he-quartz she loves and the life path she lives for. Which shall she choose?

#Excerpt: SILVER-TONGUED DEVIL by Rosalind James

Silver-Tongued Devil
Rosalind James
(Portland Devils)
Publication date: November 15th 2016
Genres: Adult, Romance, Sports
No more wild rides. No more wild side.
Blake Orbison’s pro football career may have ended with a bang, but not calling the signals anymore just gives him more time to devote to his business enterprises, including the latest and greatest: the opening of the Wild Horse Resort in scenic north Idaho. And that other one, too. Blake’s on the marriage track, and he’s got a game plan. But when he runs into a trespasser leaping from his shoreline boulders into his lake, what’s a good ol’ boy to do but strip down and join her?

Dakota Savage is nobody’s temporary diversion, least of all the man responsible for her family’s semi-desperate circumstances. Some people may think she has a piercing too many, but she’s had more than enough of being called trash in this town. She’s come home to Wild Horse to run her stepfather’s painting business, and any extra time she has goes into creating her stained glass. An overpaid, entitled, infuriating NFL quarterback is no part of her life plan, no matter how sweet he talks. No matter how slow he smiles. No matter what.

Goodreads / Amazon
EXCERPT:It wasn’t Jerry. That much, she could tell as he got closer. It was somebody a whole lot slimmer. Tall, check. Short dark hair, check. Black shirt, check. But no gut, and she thought there was some darkness around the jaw that wasn’t quite a beard. Another security guy. She could be cute enough for him. Maybe. What would he care, really, what she did?
“Hi,” she said as he approached. “Next time maybe don’t yell right when I’m jumping.” Taking the initiative. Projecting confidence. She was better at that than “cute.”
“Hell of a graceful landing,” he agreed, and glasses or no, she could see the flash of white teeth through the dark stubble just fine. Also that he had a pair of shoulders to die for, and some very nice arms in that T-shirt. Not to mention long legs in dusty jeans and work boots, and about six foot three of lean muscle. Nobody she knew, because she’d have noticed him. She might not be able to see him, exactly, but she could see enough.
“If you’re security,” she said, “I was just going.”
“I’m not security. And I hope that’s a lie that you were just going, because that looked real fun.”
He had a Southern drawl she’d surely never heard in Wild Horse. Slow as molasses, and just that thick and sweet. Ah hope thass a lah that you were juss goin’. “Let me guess,” she said, feeling a sneaky little surge of excitement. “You’re out here to do wrong. Sign says ‘No Trespassing,’ and you’ve been given the big lecture, but you’re not worried, because you’re a badass like that.”
Some more grin. “Could be. Is that water deep enough to be safe? We’re both too pretty to get ourselves paralyzed.”
“Oh, yeah,” she assured him. “Best spot on the lake for it. No place else has rocks like this or a pool this deep. Which means, of course, that the Man comes and fences it off and tells you that you can’t use it anymore, even if you’re working out here. Gotta love capitalism, and this is about the worst.”
He gazed into the distance and scratched thoughtfully at his cheek. “Bad place to work, you think? Huh.”
“I wouldn’t do it for a heartbeat if I didn’t need the money. You could say that I’m not in love with Mr. Blake Orbison or his company. But you know, we all need the money.”
“That we do. Arrogant guy?”
“Let’s say that I don’t like the way he treats people. On an . . . institutional scale.” Whoa, girl, she told herself. Lose the bitter and get back to reckless. More attractive, and a whole lot more fun. Trust her to meet a truly prime specimen of manflesh for once and immediately put him off. “So I’m sure I shouldn’t jump off his rocks. But hey, what’s life without a little danger?” There, that was better.
“Now, see, darlin’,” he said, his voice getting even deeper, the accent going a shade richer, “that’s what I tell myself all the time. It’s a real shame that so few people think like us.”

Honoring and Giving Thanks to our Veterans

The Veterans Day National Ceremony is held each year on November 11th at Arlington National Cemetery . The ceremony commences precisely at 11:00 a.m. with a wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknowns and continues inside the Memorial Amphitheater with a parade of colors by veterans' organizations and remarks from dignitaries. The ceremony is intended to honor and thank all who served in the United States Armed Forces.

We all can do our part by thanking a soldier you may encounter in your daily lives. They serve so we may enjoy our freedom. Their sacrifice is something very special.

My personal thank you goes to Tim, Brenda, Gary and David. You all are awesome and make me proud to say I know and love the soldiers in my family.

Is it part of a series?</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">Absolutely, in one sentence The Immortal Gene series is about reincarnation gone wrong. Soul Finder is the second instalment in the series, and delves deeper into Nadia’s and Diesel’s dangerous relationship. It is darker, faster and more intense than the first novel Soulless. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">Do you have a favorite character?</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">I do, but my favourite character tends to change depending on what I am currently writing. In this instance, hands down Diesel is one of the strangest and most complicated characters I’ve written. Coming in close second, is a new character Jacky whom is introduced into the second novel. With robotic limbs and a spear for a leg, she is definitely in a badass category of her own. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">How long before you got your offer of representation/your first contract? Was it for your first novel?</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">My very first novel, <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">My Demonic Ghost</i>, was written when I was roughly 17 – 18 years old. Originally, I sat on the idea for a while until I turned 21 and tried to see if it was publishable. I didn’t hit the publishing scene hard, mainly due to shyness and lack of self-confidence. When I did get my first offer of contract, I was 22 years old and I signed on with publisher Staccato Publishing in MN. Heather Savage took me under her wing and taught me everything I needed to know, without her I wouldn’t be where I am today honestly. She opened the door for me, allowing me to attend conventions and pitches with more confidence.</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">Even now I’m still learning so much, and I have an amazing network of author friends, publishers, editors, readers and bloggers that honestly make me a better person and writer. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">Are you currently under a traditional publishing contract for future books or do you have manuscripts that you will self-publish? Are you doing both?</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">I’m a bit of both. My first series, as stated above, went with a small press company called Staccato, who I still consider my publishing family. My second series, The Immortal Gene, I choose not to pursue publishers because I wanted to learn how the publishing side/ marketing side worked. One of the best decisions I’ve made, as I have really learnt a lot and am able to control my writing future easier. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">My next series is coming out with Ragnarok Publishing, they have just recently signed a partnership with IPG and therefore classifying themselves as traditionally published. They have an amazing line up of authors, and an incredible team of book designers, PRs and editors. I am very lucky to be able to work with them. I get to see what is it like on both sides, and in the end, it comes down to a matter of individual preference. Some love the control, others love the backing of a publishing house, I like both. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">What is your writing process? Do you listen to music or do you like silence?</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">I like to listen to music at first to set the mood, but once I have the information in my mind I tend to work in silence. I can’t type as fast as I can imagine, so I tend to stop and start the music so I can catch up with what’s happening inside my head. I also like to have a warm cup of a tea and sit down with the heater on. I also don’t like natural sunlight on me, only because it makes me want to go outside instead of sitting in front of the computer. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">I tend to write later in the day when I’m feeling lazier. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">Did you hire an editor to review your manuscript before publishing?</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">Originally I didn’t, and I believe that was a big mistake. Nowadays, absolutely. I believe it’s a way of showing any potential representation be it agent or publisher, that you are serious about your writing and willing to take the necessary steps to be the best that you can be. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">Besides Amazon, are there any other sites where your books are for sale?</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">I’m on Draft2digital, which opens up to other platforms such as Barnes and Noble, Itunes, Kobo, scribe and others. There’s a deal with amazon that if you remain exclusive to them you are able to use their marketing features to promote. Such as free deals or sale count downs. I’ve left my Demonic Ghost series exclusive to amazon, but elected to open up the Immortal Gene series to all platforms to carter to all readers. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">What advice would you give a new author just entering into the self-publishing arena?</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">The biggest thing you will need are friends in the writing community, and to make friends you need to be willing to help each other out. I see too many people becoming too focused on their own needs, and therefore don’t have the backing of the Indie community. If able, attend your local conventions and talk to all the writers and editors there.</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">I know I personally try and share as much information as I possibly can when newbie writers approach me, so I can imagine it’s the same with others.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">Besides writing, do you have any other passions?</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">My other biggest passion is gaming, especially role playing games. I guess that doesn’t really come as much of a surprise, as I love storytelling and gaming is just another platform of that. One day, I would love to work with a gaming company and write a story/ script to be turned into a game. Something like The Last of Us or The Walking Dead would be absolutely amazing. Many writers dream of turning their books into movies or tv shows, I want to turn mine into a game. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">What’s next for you?</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">I’m currently sitting on my hands, unsure where to direct my focus. I have a few novels in the works, for example: Soul Reaper #3 of the Immortal Gene needs to be written. I also have a few new ideas such as Empty Realms, Madison Keeys and Losing Focus I want to get started on. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";"><br />Website here: <a href="http://jacintamaree.wixsite.com/jacin... class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">In February, I have <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Time Weaver: The Time Collector Series</i> coming out with Ragnarok. This one is a steampunk inspired supernatural novel about modern day genies capable of exchanging wishes for time. I’m estimating roughly 3 – 4 novels in that series so I need to get started on the second instalment ASAP, (I’m a slow writer, so it’s important I try and stick to a schedule). </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">Among writing, editing, promoting and publishing, I like to attend as many conventions as possible. Comic Con, AMC, Supanova, Readers Writers Down Under, Writers under the Bridge, Fictionally Yours Melbourne, the list can go on. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 11.0pt; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman";">I’m pretty busy, haha, yet still have time to re-watch Sherlock Holmes for the 100th time, funny eh?</span></div><br /><div style="margin: 0 auto 15px; text-align: center;"><a href="http://xpressobooktours.com/" target="_blank"><img alt="" src="http://www.xpressobooktours.com/wp-co..." style="height: auto; max-width: 100%;" /></a></div><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"> </span></span><br /><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><b>Soul Finder </b><br /><b>Jacinta Maree</b><br />(The Immortal Gene, #2)<br />Publication date: September 16th 2016<br />Genres: Dystopian, New Adult, Supernatural</span></span><br /><blockquote><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Since being discovered as Soulless, Nadia has become a target for both terrorist groups and government corporations.
