This One Question Will Change Your Life
When we say “I can’t”, when we say “I’m not good enough”, when we doubt ourselves or hit a brick wall along our road to success there’s one important question we need to ask ourselves - Why can’t I? This is changes our perspective on the challenges we face and opens up possibilities.
Instead of feeling sorry for ourselves for facing hardship this question allows us to decide - am I worthy of that which I seek? Asking “why can’t I become a professional basketball player?” instead of admitting defeat because we don’t feel like we’re “good enough” allows us to consider what it would take for us to get to the level we want to be at.
Anyone we aspire to be like once began where we are now - the man on top of the mountain didn’t fall there, he climbed. This is the mindset we must adopt if we want to achieve success in our lives. Why can’t I have a deep, meaningful & fulfilling relationship? Why can’t I travel the world? Why can’t I do, be, have or experience anything I want?

The society we live in has led us to believe that we are powerless, that we must settle for a life that’s “fine” rather than thrive in a reality we created based on our heart’s desires. Asking “why can’t I?” is how we take that power back for ourselves and begin creating the life we dream of - it’s all down to the way we see the world and if we’re willing to take action.
Radical actions yield radical results, if we want our lives to be drastically different than what we experience today - we need to take action to change the situation. There will be no intervention from the external world, no one is going to come in and change our lives for us and nor should they - the way our lives look is completely up to us.
Indeed, many of us have been dealt a bad hand - but the question we can ask ourselves to look at what’s possible rather than why we should continue living in limitation is “why can’t I?”. The lens we view the world with can either add possibilities or remove them - the choice is ours.
How we see our world becomes our world - perspective is everything.
Peace & positive vibes.

When Someone Asks if You’re Writing
Percy Jackson and The lunar chronicles? :)
Percy Jackson: If you were a demigod, who would be your godly parent?
Poseidon, hands down (I’d be a Nereid or something to do with water. That’s what Salt for Air, my Greek mythology retelling book is about yaaay.)
The Lunar Chronicles: What is your favorite fairytale?
Little Red Riding Hood. Been in love with it since I was a kid and never changed my mind ONCE. hehe
Harry Potter, Throne of Glass, ACOTAR
Harry Potter: What is your Hogwarts House?
Ravenclaw
Throne of Glass: Who is your favourite female fictional character?
Jane Eyre
Acotar: What is your favorite season and time of day?
Favorite season: summer
Favorite time of day: very late at night or very early before dawn, when everyone (else) is asleep, and the sky is just dark enough that it’s about to turn light.
