Repost @somekindofalibrary I have been waiting all week to share with you the amazing @mcfrank_author, who is getting ready to release the third book in her No Ordinary Star series this December!! Aren’t these covers GORGEOUS?! I’ve read book one and am currently working on No Plain Rebel in anticipation of her third book in the series, No Vain Loss. Guys I’m hooked! This world she has created is so incredibly original and fun to read. I am kinda picky when it comes to the YA that I make time for in my reading schedule. This series is unique and fast paced and unlike anything else I’ve read!! Loving it! .

“Let me tell you something someone mercifully told me: If readers do not
empathize with what your character wants by the end of your first page –
and that’s the stubby little three-quarter page of text floating under
the title – it will be remarkably difficult to sell your book.“
There’s some pretty good advice in this article. Just sayin’.
