The only bit of it I've never been able to argue with is that in order to learn the craft of writing, you must write. A lot. Often. Daily if you can. Find the medium that works for you--laptop, notepad and fountain pen, iPhone, marble slab and chisel--what have you, and keep it with you always. Even if you can only work for 10 minutes some days, it's all forward momentum, which is absolutely key to success. (less)

I have a plot laid out for a book 3 and possibly even 4, but have shifted my focus to more current issues in women's history, as it seems that's what the market is after. Missed Connections by Aimie K. Runyan
"I enjoyed this book, especially the fresh way the "do-over" concept was done. I appreciated Sabrina's voice and how she wasn't perfect or magically "fixed" after her adventures and would love to have a fairy godmother like Roseline myself."
