I can’t write tomorrow, but I’ll pick up where I left off on Sunday, adding another 2400 words.  We will be in the home stretch by then with seven days left.

Today was tough. I increased my word count by 800 words because I won’t be able to write on Saturday. I’m trying to give my self a cushion going into the final push. Speaking of which, there are only 10 days left of this beautiful madness!  So, far I’m loving NaNoWriMo.

Today I learned about Chinese Bearer Bonds, and it was FASCINATING!  I know.  I’m shocked, too.

The observant reader of this blog will notice that I went from day 14 to day 16 in my status update posts.  Well played, my friends.  Well played indeed.  You noticed a day is missing, and it is missing because… I took the day off yesterday.  I know it’s kind of anticlimactic, but the truth normally is.  I wasn’t just out having fun and causing trouble.  I was at a writer’s workshop for playwrights, and it was a blast.  I’m really digging this playwright stuff.  That being said, I was exhausted after the all day workshop and came home and crashed on my recliner.  I’ve adjusted my daily word count to accommodate for the lost day, so I’m still on schedule to hit 50,000 words by November 30.
