Happy Fourth of July

Word of the day: Freedom (of the press, of speech, from tyranny).
What words do you associate with freedom?

IWSG Support Day

The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day. Members post about their doubts and fears, discuss struggles and triumphs, and offer words of encouragement to others who are struggling.
FYI: The IWSG monthly question can be found under the IWSG Sign-up tab on the Insecure Writer's Support Group Blog.

July 3 question - What are your ultimate writing goals, and how have they changed over time (if at all)?
My goals are to continually improve my craft, grow my readership and at some point in my lifetime write a bestseller. Piece of cake, right? Choke. Choke. Hack. Hack (No pun intended).
Word for the day: Support.

Buckingham Palace

Just a few shots of Buckingham Palace. Note the flying flag in the bottom picture. As many of you already know (I didn't:), the flag designates the queen is in.  She apparently didn't get the memo we were outside. Heh. Heh.

AND....

Happy July. Can you believe it?

AND...

Word of the day: Respect.

London Gardens

Besides the amazing architecture, one of the things I loved about London was the parks. You'd be riding the subway or walking amid teaming humanity one minute and in a park the next. The below is a compilation of several parks.
These birds were fat and healthy. Apparently, they don't feel the need to poison their pigeons as we do in the US.
