Divine Appointment with Mrs. Des Dimaguila: Meeting A Woman of Substance
Supposedly, I was just in the municipal hall to get my PWD ID before we go to PCSO to submit the requirement for Dad; but the Lord had other plans for me and my mom. We were about to go out from the PWD office when I saw a sophisticated lady looking at me; she stared at me and asked me several questions which led to a job, a volunteer work which I prayed for. So, she offered me to write for her; I grabbed the opportunity right away because I wanted to help the community especially the people with disabilities residing in Binan. Afterwards, I saw myself in a desk of GAD Office.
I think, the Lord worked in our meeting because they needed a writer. To cut the story short, I started a real job today!
I met new friends too; Echo, JN, Ruv and many more. Yay!
But wait, there’s more . . . I was about to be interviewed for the said position but we have to go to a school in Sto Domingo with Ms. Des, Ruv, JN, Echo, and my ever supportive mom!
We assessed what SPED schools need. And that I really enjoyed. Having been in a SPED classroom with SPED kids amazed me; it’s really a divine appointment.
I want to thank Ms. Des for the trust she gave me. It’s really something to look forward to.
We met people by chance; or it could be God’s perfect time for another work to do, missions. To God be the glory!

We Serve A Big God
From February 13 to 20, right after the wedding, we observed that Dad has been catching his breath. It gets worse from day to day. I already told Mom that we needed to rush Dad whenever he gets ill.
At the day of February 20, I usually checked on him every time i woke up. The terrifying scenario came by; he said that he is willing to go to the hospital. We have to rushed him to the hospital; THIS has been the WORST CASE EVER.
I have to be strong. I have to be strong. That was my rant. I have to be strong . . .
Imagine me on the bathroom, begging to God to heal my Dad. The peace from God came in an instant. I have to wait for updates from my siblings because I was tasked to update everyone about Dad’s condition.
I immediately posted a prayer request to YA Ministry and HeistClub group for prayers. I also messaged our pastor, the Sharjah group and JTR-Dubai just to let them know about Dad’s condition. we also sent messages and updates to his sisters in Cavite US and Greece. They, all, offered theirs so thank you. I don’t question God but was excited for the testimony after. I know that God will pull us through. The trust is already there and I became very calm about it.
In His Word, He said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you’. That’s what our family is holding on. We are holding on to the promise of our Big God.
Although we’ve been through a very tough week, God has pulled us through. I can see how the concept of the sowing and reaping inspired me to write of how GREAT AND POWERFUL our FATHER IN HEAVEN IS.
Hearing the story of my dad’s journey to his very first dialysis session, I just couldn’t help but thank God for the people who prayed with us, people who extended their help, and people who visited Dad in the hospital. In behalf of our family, we want to thank you. We will be needing your prayers for Dad’s lifetime dialysis treatment.
I heard Mom’s saying that THEY HAVE A NEW MISSION FIELD TO SOW.
WE ARE NOT RICH . . . BUT OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN IS… IT IS PROVEN TO OUR FAMILY THAT PROVISIONS COME ON TIME. BECAUSE GOD’S CLOCK WILL NEVER GONE LATE. IT IS ALWAYS ON TIME. WE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR DAD’S CONTINUOUS TREATMENT.
GOD IS A BIG GOD . . . HE CAN CARRY YOU AND YOUR PROBLEMS. LEARN TO TRUST AND SURRENDER TO HIS WILL AND EVERYTHING WILL GO IN ITS PLACE.
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” MATTHEW 19:26
Please include Dad on your prayers. He needs prayer warriors like you!

[Guest Post]+[Review]+[Giveaway]: Keep the Faith by Ana Tejano
[image error]
happy birthday to me!
Keeping the Faith in Love by Ana Tejano
There were a lot of things about this book that’s close to me, other than the fact that this has been one of my older stories since 2010. When I went back to writing this book, I had finally declared that I had moved on. I thought this should make the writing easy, because I had all the hugot for the plot. And I did get that, and while Faith’s story wasn’t entirely my story, I admit that a lot of my younger self lurks in the corners of this book.
Jodi Lynn Anderson wrote something in her book, Tiger Lily, that reminded me of my process in this one: “Human hearts are elastic. They have room for all sorts of passions, and they can break and heal and love again and again.” My elastic human heart was forgetful, because there was a time I thought I was pulling from a fictional experience. Sometimes I wondered if I should have been writing this book at all, but I kept at it. Partly because I believed that Faith’s story was one worth telling, and because I’ve already written and invested so much time in it. Sayang naman.
I’m glad because that meant I was totally past that. But wow, talk about really hard writing! It helped me, though, to practice some skills of asking questions, looking for other sources of feels (thanks, #romanceclass), and just pushing on until I got it. And I think it worked? A lot of the writing helped me process and see things in a different way, and then I used all my own and other people’s past material and formed it into something that I hope was good. Something that I hope could keep them company in whatever they were feeling – be it heartbreak, happiness, or hopefulness — and to affirm them that love is still – and always is – possible. J

Blurb: As a community development worker, Faith was quite familiar with heartbreak and recovery after all the time she spent on disaster relief missions. So when her five-year relationship ends right before she left for a mission trip to a typhoon-stricken town in Iloilo, she tries not to make a big deal out of it. How can she be broken up about a breakup when she’s with people who literally lost everything?
But now that she’s back, all Faith wants is for her life to go back to normal and have people stop looking at her with pity. Never mind that she still has a lot of questions about the breakup, or that she feels a tiny ache every time her ex comes up in conversations. She’s okay now, and happily distracted by Nico Tamayo, the attractive new guy at work.
With new possibilities in the horizon, Faith thinks she is well on her way to moving on. But when her past comes calling back to her, will all the good things in her present be enough to keep her on the path? Or will she finally learn that there was more to heartbreak and recovery than what she knows?

PETA PRESENTS: Sticks Stones Broken Bones
The PETA Theater Center presents:
STICKS, STONES, BROKEN BONES
A shadow puppet comedy show, made from bits of rubbish.
Sneaky chickens, flying Ninjas, brain surgery and an unforgettable horse race! Welcome to the surreal shadow puppet world of Sticks, Stones, Broken Bones.

Using household objects and bits of rubbish, Bunk Puppets transforms simple objects into hilarious silhouette stories. In each scene, the puppetry is performed in front of the shadow screen, so that the audience gets a close look at the visual trickery. Old toys, brooms, boxes and discarded clothing are deftly stitched together to create shadow puppet stories and characters.
Delighting audiences in dozens of countries, Sticks, Stones, Broken Bones is a hilarious fusion of shadow puppetry and physical theatre. It’s a visual feast for the imagination! Come, experience one man’s playful vision of wonder and nonsense. Sticks, Stones, Broken Bones is a wordless and imaginative puppet comedy show for all ages running for 50 minutes. (Though some bits are a wee bit scary for under 6 yrs old).
Based in Melbourne, Bunk Puppets company director, Jeff Achtem explains “Traditionally, shadow puppeteers create their silhouette performances by manipulating puppets behind a screen. We perform Sticks, Stones, Broken Bones in front from the screen, which means we can use cinematic effects like close-ups and zooms. The audience gets to witness every bit of the puppeteers moves” he says.

Performed by Tim Sneddon, created and directed by Jeff Achtem,

12/26/2016 MISSION

December 27, 2016
Greatest Gift Claimed! 12/26/2016 Mission
I was invited to an outreach and the Lord has been so good that he found a way to have it done. Every crossroad is a divine appointment. No accidents.
I was told that I would speak for the glory of God. But geez, I felt my nerves calling me. I grabbed the opportunity and said my yes to ate Connie. she is a missionary based on Singapore. She told me that she would be having a mission in their church, GKMC. I spoke to this church already. I pray that I could be like her in the near future.
The glory of God has seen through her missions. God has been using her to share His provisions to the needy.
As soon as I enter the church, I observed the kids; they have curious stares on me. I waved at them in return. I did the PABEBE WAVE AHAHA. Some kids smiled; some kids were very curious about my situation. Some really took courage to ask for my name.
I remember a kid asking my mom what happen to me? We started our mission; proclaiming the goodness of my Father God through Jesus. As a shy writer, I only observed them; smiling at the same time.
They seemed to love me as soon as they know my story. I was so overwhelmed. The kids were so willing when we requested for photos with them.
A mother came to us. She shared her testimony on how God has help her in her situation. I realized that sin cannot be a hindrance for God to pour blessings after blessings. But we must take a leap of faith and acknowledge our fault . Be humble enough to say sorry.
My heart leaped into so much joy when they prayed the prayer of Salvation. They claimed the greatest GIFT EVER WRAPPED, JESUS CHRIST!
I had a chance to explain to them what i’ve been doing by Mom’s help. Thanks Mommy!
We also met a Mom who has a cerebral palsy child. She said to us that she is not sending her child to school. we encouraged her to do that. I remember what Mom told her: Parents have this responsibility to pour love to their children. You have to equip them for them to have a weapon in life.
The mission is over;
