A Review: In the Beginning There Was Us by Ingrid Jonach
Racquel Says: With complex characters like Abbey and Cole, the book has evolved in a very intricate narrative. Although I am not a fan of science fiction novels, Ingrid Jonach takes me to a world where I could believe in love. It made me want to read more science fiction novels in the future. Maybe i could write a science fiction too.
I am rating this FOUR STARS!

Cerebral Palsy . . . What is it?
According to Wikipedia, Cerebral palsy (CP) is a group of permanent movement disorders that appear in early childhood. Signs and symptoms vary between people. Often problems include: poor coordination, stiff muscles, weak muscles, trouble swallowing or speaking, and tremors among others. There may also be problems with sensation, vision, and hearing. Often babies with cerebral palsy do not roll over, sit, crawl, or walk as early as other children their age. Difficulty with the ability to think or reason and seizures each occurs in about one third of cases. While the symptoms may get more noticeable over the first few years of life, the underlying problems do not worsen over time.

Why do you write? Why did you choose this profession?
I write to convey inspiration. I have difficulty in speaking so why not use my knowledge to deliver messages of hope to everyone. I chose being a writer/author to give a loud voice for Cerebral Palsy Awareness. It has been my ultimate dream to be the living testimony of God’s work in progress.
What’s the most fulfilling aspect about writing?
When you write, you can really connect with your readers and influence them. As for me, I write for God’s glory.
How do you come up with story lines?
God has been so generous that He poured out so much wisdom and guidance…

How would you define book discrimination?
Book Discrimination. It is not reading a book that does not qualify on a reader’s standards.
How do you feel about it?
New Authors experience this. Readers have their set of standards regarding books. It’s either the authors are popular, have good ratings and that is really fine. But the mere fact that authors really worked hard for a book, each book should be treated equal.
What do you think is the cause of book discrimination?
Close-mindedness.
What would you do against it?
I will buy discriminated books and rate them :)
Fill in the blanks. More people should read ________ by ________ because ________.

What motivated you to become an indie author?
I have been motivated by my fellow persons with disabilities. I want to help spread awareness that we, physically challenged individuals, can make a difference in a way that I can convey their life long struggles through my works. I may not get it from print publishers but with self publishing technology, it may be possible.
What is your writing process?
my writing process…. First, I think of a good title. Then search if it exists. If not, I will now conceptualize the story…
