Cruisin’ through books cause books make life worth living with Aly #RileyAmosReviews 9/11/2015 part 2

13 Stolen Girls by Gil Reavill

I enjoyed this book as well.  It was a good mystery book.  This book reminded of some movies I have watched recently on Lifetime.  It kept my attention and I was ready to read more and find out what happens next.  I see this book is part of a series so I may have to read more from this author.  * I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*  4/5

Cruisin’ through books cause books make life worth living with Aly 9/9/2015 part 4!

1001 Islands by K.T. Munson

A princess pain in the butt.  I think this story has a lot of fun.  Princess Roxana is a lovable character but she is outspoken and has lost one arranged marriage already.  If I were a princess, I could see me in the same situation.  This book was quite an adventure to me.  I think it was very good. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*  4/5

The Dream Walker Returns by Michelle Lee Murray

This book is captivating and fun for me.  I enjoyed this book from start to finish.   I am glad Miranda had to go back again to Mystica.  I think in a way these books kind of remind me a The Chronicles of Narnia.   What I wonderful and magical world.  * I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review*  5/5

Reciprocal by Heather Couch

This book was very different for me.  I do like Sci-fi but I have to say am picky about my Sci-fi.  I enjoyed the love story in this book.  The charterers were interesting and I was impressed with the writing of the author I will read more of this series.   * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*  4/5

The Reluctant Sacrifice by Kerr-Ann Dempster

I enjoyed this book very much.  Yes, in a way it was another vampire book, but it too has a little bit of a different spin on things.  I love to read what all these authors come up with to change things up a bit.  The main character, Aubrey, in a way reminded me of Kate Daniels in the Ilona Andrews series. If you like the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews, you should try this book.  * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*  4/5

Blood Lily by Jenny Allen

I really enjoyed this book.  The cover is very catching to me. I think it a yet a different spin on a vampire book.  It is a series so I was left guessing at the end.  I would read more from this author and I would love to see what happens next in this series.  *I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*   5/5

Initiated to Kill by Sharlene Almond

I think this was just ok for me.  I think the author added a little too much background.  I do like the idea of a Jack Ripper like story line.  But I felt the book was a little long for me. Annabelle being deaf seemed to help her a little in this book.  She could do interesting things.  I enjoyed the character of Annabelle though.  All in all, I was on the fence about this book.  * I received this book from the author in exchange for a honest review*  3/5
