The Cleansing by Danielle Tara Evans
An awesome read. Full of love, hate, and everything else that makes life. The picture painted is as vivid as it is heartwrenching. A wonderful read that I’m happy I picked up. 5/5

Captive- Veiled Desires by Clarissa Cartharn
This series is a must read for me. I enjoyed going along with Nora and being at her side through it all. I loved the ending and I love this series. I would read more from this author. I say again I MUST READ!!! I’m sad to see the series end. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review* 5/5

Moxie’s Decision by Hank Quense
This book took me back to times of King Author and the round table. I think the book was good. The book made me laugh in a few places and I enjoyed the story. I enjoyed the characters and overall it was a fun read. I have been watching a show in Netflix called “Merlin” and this book reminded me of this show a little, * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review* 3/5

This is a the first book I read from this author. I enjoyed the story. I did get a little distracted by all the history of the Chippewa tribe in the story, it seemed to be, for me, a little too much. But I do have interest in the Native American culture so I enjoyed some of the history. I enjoyed the background the author gave the characters to make them seem to pop off the page. I think I would give the next book in the series a chance. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review* 4/5

A Whisper of Leaves by Ashley Capes
This was a very good story for me. I love a good mystery and I don’t often read Japanese Mysteries. I think this was a good change for pace for me and I loved the characters and the story kept me reading on. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review* 4/5

How can you help an author? I’m so glad you asked…

Several people have asked me how they can support Lady Pancake & Sir French Toast now that it’s out in the world, so I decided to share this info with everyone. If you have a few spare minutes to do any of the items below, that would be greatly appreciated and hugely beneficial.
*Please note that the following information applies to all authors and all books*
Talk about the book with your indie booksellers. Next time you’re in your local indie, ask if they have the book. If they do, it’ll bring it to their attention. If they don’t, maybe they’ll order it or remember next time they’re ordering.
Request that your library purchase a copy. Many libraries have online request systems. But asking your children’s librarian always works (it’s ok. they won’t bite – unless you run. then maybe they will).

Boned On Bluecreek by Moxie Darling
Steamy very steamy! This is a good book to read when I want to go somewhere else for a while. I enjoy this author and how she can take me with her in the stories and sometimes I want to be the main character for a day. I enjoyed this book and it got pretty steamy but I don’t mind. I think you have to be in the mood for these types of stories sometimes. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review* 5/5
