The Prince of Darkness
Awesome
The prince of darkness rose up from his sleep.
He unfurled his wings and stretched his dark limbs,
before swooping down on the world beneath
from his unlit pyre on the starless night!
The world was steeped in silence, ominous,
each of its dwellers safe inside the cave,
a fire at the entrance casting shadows
on the rocky wall that stood at the end
and the wiser minds wonder-struck by that,
spellbound by their own flimsy silhouettes!
“Look, how unsighted they are to surrender
to such a sight!” cried the prince in disgust,
so he unfurled his bony wings again
and went to work with his scythe on the staff!

Still Counting by Phil Fragasso
This book reminds me of what is going on in romance today in 2016. I enjoyed the story it was full of romance and love and all the things confusing in between. The has some good characters and I was laughing out loud a few times. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*

I don’t read a whole lot of these very romantic books. I am more of a supernatural girl! But I gave this book a try and I liked it more than I thought I would. The shifter element for me drew me in because of me loving anything supernatural. The book was interesting! * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review* 4/5

Day 16 of 90: Weight issues
I weighed myself this morning. I don’t know how many of you guys know this, but I struggle with a weight issue. I’ve been big all my life, and I continue to struggle against it everyday. It can be kind of disheartening to wake up every morning and see that your weight isn’t fluctuating, though you’re eating less and exercising your ass off.
A plateau is a horrible thing to hit in your weight loss goals, though they happen all the time if you have large amounts of weight to lose. I’m going to tell you, you can work through it. Half an hour a day walking, or some other form of physical activity outside your norm, can change your life. Hell, it can do more than change it, it can save it.
This past year, I’ve lost over 150 lbs, with only 200 more to go from my goal. Last year at this time, I would have problems even standing, let alone going for a walk. One day at a time, I’ve used my stubborness to get closer to my goal. And though I’ve plateaued right now, I know I’ll break through it as long as I keep on keeping on. It’s all about perseverance.
One day at a time, you conquer your demons. If you get in the habit of taking enough time out of your day to improve yourself, before you know it, you’ll be a greater person than you ever expected. A little bit at a time, it will add up to the greatest version of you.

Another great book with Grim Reapers in it. I read the first book and this book is just as great as the first book in this series. Xia is learning more about becoming the next Grim Reaper! I love the story line and all the characters I remember from book one. There were even a few new ones! What a great series! * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review* 5/5

Stealing the Future: An East German Spy Thriller by Max Hertzberg
For me, I liked the spy crime/thriller part of this book the best. I think it was a good book over all but without these extra spy thriller elements for me, I think the book would not have been as good. I enjoyed it very much though. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review* 4/5
