Interview Day!

Hot Date At Midnight

Nope, it's not a book title. For the first time in like ever, it was my life! LOL!

Okay, here's how it went. Very long day, hubby woke at 5 to get some things done and to get the boy ready. Since I was up til 3 with the girls and work, I slept til 10 like a slob.

So then, hubby crashed around 7 and napped until 11 when I finally dragged the girls upstairs because I didn't want to be up all night again. So, threw them into the shower, into the tooth brushing and finally into their crib. Around m...

My brain has been alive with ideas. Which is a good thing as I need to put together proposals for next year's books. I'm just flat out of time to get them done. Still I have one idea that won't shut up. And three books reminding me they want to be worked on. And another one telling me that is he doesn't get to play with his heroine soon, he's packing up his wolf toys and going home.

Dear Tuesday

I wish I had more to say to you. It is once again your weekly visit to my life, and much like last week, your plans and my plans for the day seem to be at odds.

I'd like very much to go back to sleep and lay in bed all day until hubby gets home.

You, however, are obsessed with cleaning and being productive.

I'd like to work madly on some enticing revisions.

You want me to work on technical work.

I'd like to get some laundry washed.

LOL, so, Mom visited me yesterday. I had an appointment and needed a ride, so she came over to help me out. As is often the case, we came around to writing. See, I didn't just pop out a writer. My mother writes. She's always written, always loved words and has shared that with us.

But my Mom will also smack me in the back of the head for swearing.

As you can imagine, I don't let Mom read my books, lol.

Good Morning Gang!

Well, it's been a really busy week and it's promising to be another one, but I'm so happy that yesterday, my nephew had his 6th grade graduation. He's worked hard, overcoming some learning disabilities and it was great to see all that work rewarded. So very proud of him!!

Plus, got to visit with Mom, too!
