This is What I’m Grateful For…
One of my favorite holidays, Thanksgiving, is almost here. One of the things I’m grateful for: nice reviews! Love this one from an Amazon fan about Thanksgiving Rules!
“This book is amazing. We got it from the library and I realized I couldn’t build my children’s library without it. It has become one of their favorite books ever!! Well written and illustrated, it’s timeless.”

Get Ready for Halloween!
Good news! I’m proud to announce that I’m Not Afraid of This Haunted House is now available in Japanese. And just in time for Halloween!
About the book: Simon Lester Henry Strauss isn’t afraid of anything! Not witches. Or ghosts. Or ghouls. The creaky old haunted house doesn’t scare him. When his friends all run out in fear, Simon Lester bravely proclaims he’s not scared one bit. But in the end . . . everyone is scared of something. Even Simon Lester.

Mallory McDonald, Super Sitter
Hi Everybody,
I know lots of you have done some babysitting and found out that sometimes it’s not as easy as it looks! That’s what Mallory and Chloe Jennifer learned, though they also learned that babysitting can be a whole lot of fun! Wether you like babysitting (or just reading about it!) I hope you’ll read Mallory McDonald, Super Sitter.
Have fun reading (and babysitting!)
Talk to you soon!

A New Year!
Hi Everybody,
Hope your year is off to a great start and that it’s filled with lots of great books! This year I’m keeping a list of every book I read. Can’t wait to look back at the end of the year and see what I read and loved. My challenge to all you amazing readers out there is to keep your own list. How many books do you think will be on it by the end of the year?!?

Hi Everybody,
Happy Halloween! Today is one of my favorite holidays! I hope you have lots of spooky fun plans to celebrate!
I love writing about Halloween (almost as much as I like celebrating it!) Mallory likes Halloween too, but in Mallory Makes a Difference, her Halloween plans don’t work out quite like she wanted them to. I hope you’ll read the book and I hope you all have a very happy Halloween!

Merry Christmas, Mary Christmas!
Hi Everybody,
I’m so excited to be able to announce my new book, Merry Christmas, Mary Christmas! is finally out and available!
Every year, the Christmas family puts up the biggest Christmas tree. They hang the most lights. And their dog, Rudy barks Jingle Bells for the whole neighborhood to hear. The Christmas family loves Christmas. That is, except for seven-year-old Mary Christmas. Mary wants to love it. But how do you make a Christmas celebration better when it’s already as big as can be...
