The West should Ban the Burka – A Toronto Sun column from September 2013

While Canada has been embroiled in the controversy surrounding Quebec’s plan to outlaw the hijab as a headdress for its Muslim public employees, across the pond in the UK, it’s the niqab, — a full-face mask worn by some Muslim women — that is creating a storm.
On Monday, a British judge at London’s Blackfriars Crown Court ruled a Muslim woman known only as “D”, who was facing charges of intimidation, would be allowed to attend her own trial wearing a full-face mask.
In a ruling that shocked Britain, Judge Peter Murphy admitted that concealing the face would “drive a coach and horses through the way justice has been administered in England and Wales for centuries.”
Yet he apparently gave in to the religious blackmail employed by Islamists, who fling allegations of racism and Islamophobia at anyone who dares criticize this medieval misogynist practice being introduced throughout the West in the name of Islam.
To satisfy critics of the niqab, the London judge added a meaningless compromise.
He ruled that if the accused took the stand and gave evidence, she would have to remove the face mask and show her face to the jury.
He wrote, “If the defendant gives evidence she must remove the niqab throughout her evidence.” The operative word being “‘if”.
The fact is, people accused of criminal wrongdoing have the right not to testify, thereby avoiding cross-examination by the crown, and many accused avail themselves of this right.
Thus, for all practical purposes, the accused woman in London may never be seen by anyone, whether she is found guilty or innocent.
In reaching his decision, Judge Murphy relied on the recent Supreme Court of Canada decision involving a Muslim woman identified only as “NS”, who, as the complainant in a sexual assault trial, had refused to take off her niqab in court.
At the core of the cases involving both the accused “D” in Britain and complainant “NS” in Canada, is the women’s claim that masking their face is their religious obligation and as such a fundamental right.
Nothing could be further from reality, though no non-Muslim has as yet had the courage to call the bluff of Islamists who employ the niqab (and burka) as a political symbol, a sort of a middle finger to the West.
As the Muslim Canadian Congress said in 2009, “there is no requirement in the Qur’an for Muslim women to cover their faces. Invoking religious freedom to conceal one’s identity and promote a political ideology is disingenuous.”
No less an authority than Egypt’s late Sheikh Mohamed Tantawi, dean of al-Azhar university, stated the niqab was merely a cultural tradition and that it had no connection to Islam or the Qur’an.
If there is any doubt about the religiosity of the niqab and burka, one should take a look at the holiest place for Muslims, the grand mosque in Mecca, the Ka’aba.
For more than 1,400 years, Muslim men and women have prayed in what we believe is the House of God, and for all those centuries, female visitors have been explicitly prohibited from covering their faces.
It’s time to take the veil off the lies Islamists tell and to ban the niqab and burka from all public places.
And finally, to use them as a reference point for students studying the effects of brainwashing.

In a sermon posted on the Internet on September 1, 2015, Saudi Sheik Yahya Al-Jana’ talks about the joys of Paradise, saying that men will have the strength of a hundred men in Paradise and will be busy “tearing hymens,” while the virgins of Paradise, whose breasts are “like pomegranates,” and that after Muslims will ‘rupture’ the virgins’ hymens Allah will immediately repair their hymens to make them virgins again so true Muslims will never run short of virgins.

This is what Niqabis, Hijabis and evert Sharia-observing Muslim believes. Its no wonder they’ve turned Islam into a death cult where life on earth is like being in a transit lounge at an airport where you wait eagerly for your connecting flight, a flight to Paradise to join the wild orgies that trigger the fantasies of these men and women of Islamism.

“There is a war going on and the war is within Islam.”
In one short sentence, 29-year-old Karim Jivraj, the Conservative candidate in the federal riding of Rosedale-University in downtown Toronto, summed up the crisis that dominates political discourse today, including in Canada and the U.S.
Jivraj was speaking Sunday at an all-party debate hosted by the Canadian Council of Muslim Women (CCMW).
There he found himself under attack by Liberal, NDP and Green candidates from other ridings, as well as the audience of young professional Muslim women, many in hijab, many of whom gave him the hostile treatment of silent glares and rolling eyes.
If we are seeing a war within Islam, the CCMW debate — or “panel discussion” as they called it — was an illustration of it at the local level.
On the one hand, here was Jivraj, an exuberant young Muslim man who is a son of refugees from Uganda.
He was beaming with confidence, extolling the virtues of the West and Canada, urging his fellow Muslims to rid themselves of self-inflicted victimhood, to take advantage of the opportunities of living here and to soar to any heights they wished.
Jivraj’s positive attitude was in contrast to the gloom and doom scenario of racism and “Islamophobia” painted by the other political candidates.
The irony that they, as Muslim immigrants or children of Muslim immigrants, are running for the Canadian Parliament, two of them — the Liberal and NDPer — with a good chance of winning, was lost on them.

Pakistan Army’s brutal beating of MQM political activists in Karachi
This video shows Pakistan Army soldiers and officers beating up political activists of Pakistan’s MQM Party in the city of Karachi that has been under control of 20,000 troops for the last few months.
The MQM represents many million people of Karachi and other urban centres of Sindh who are children of migrants who came from India to settle in the new state of Pakistan after the bloody Partition of India in 1947.

The benefits of Jihad are of great extent and large in scope, while its effects are far-reaching and wide-spreading as regards Islam and the Muslims.
For an individual Muslim, Jihad includes all acts of worship and all aspects of belief- thus bringing him greatest reward and vast blessings; and for the Muslim nation, Jihad provides all kinds of successes in respect of prosperity and dignity, victory and glory-thus bringing magnificence and splendour.
In this article, Sheikh ‘Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Humaid, ex-Chief Justice of Saudi Arabia, has presented Jihad in the light of Qur’an and Sunna. Never before such an article was seen, describing Jihad in its true colours-so heart evoking and encouraging! May Allah bless him with all His Blessings for all times.
Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan, the translator of the Noble Qur’an and the Sahih AlBukhari, has translated this article from Arabic to the English language with all its fervor and feelings. May Allah reward him with best of His Rewards.

Mosque Imams around the world continue to pray to Allah to grant ‘Victory to Muslims over Qawm al-Kafiroon’, i.e. Non-Muslims
One of the reasons I avoid attending Friday congregations at mosques is a specific invocation uttered by mosque imams just prior to the formal Friday congregation prayer we Muslims refer to as the Juma’a. In the prayer, the clerics ask Allah to give “victory to Muslims over the ‘Qawm al-Kafirun,’ the Arabic phrase that lumps all non-Muslims, that is Jews, Hindus, Christians, Atheists, Buddhists and Sikhs into one.
Even on the day Islamist Jihadi Terrorists killed four Jews in Paris in the name of Islam, and just two days after the Charlie Hebdo massacre, an Imam in a downtown Toronto mosque could not resist the urge to pray to Allah for Muslim victory over Christians and other non-Muslims.
Here are two parts of a 34-minute sermon:
To my disappointment, there was no thoughtful omission of this invocation at the downtown Toronto Masjid run by the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Muslim Association of Canada. Far from being solemn and condemn the acts of terror, Imam Abdool Hamid showed no sense of humility or humbleness, remarking in English how he wished Islam “will become established in the land over all other religions, although the ‘Disbelievers’ (Jews, Christians, Hindus and Atheists) hate that.”
“I bear witness that there is no God worthy of worship but Allah. He is one and has no partner, and I also bear witness that Muhammad (PBUH) is the Servant and Messenger of Allah, whom Allah sent with the ‘Religion of Truth’ [Islam] and with Guidance so that this Truth and this Guidance [Islam] will become established in the land over all other religions, although the ‘Disbelievers’ (Jews, Christians, Hindus and Atheists) hate that.”
Later on he would repeat the ritual invocation to Allah to grant Muslims victory over Non-Muslims.
Here is the actual Arabic used in his sermon and the English translation of the specific call for ‘Muslim victory over Non-Muslims’ and a prayer for those conducting Jihad, that is ‘Mujahideen’:
