The Age of AI is here – now what? (my slides from Crisp Day)

Here are the slides from my keynote “The Age of AI is here – now what?”, from Crisp Day 2023. There more I use this technology, the more clear it is to me that organizations need to deeply understand and apply this technology on a daily basis, or they will be unable to compete with those who do. Shameless pitch: I offer AI kickstart workshops if you want a help getting started with this stuff.

WhoDunit – AI game development on steroids

I made a little game called WhoDunit, a detective roleplaying game. Feel free to try it at whodunit.kniberg.com. This started as an experiment in how far I could go with AI in game development. In fact, the game is entirely based on AI and would not be possible to build without it. GPT wrote most of the code (with my guidance and feedback) GPT generates all the content – mysteries...

Are developers needed in the Age of AI?

I hesitate a bit to write about this, feels like I’m just jumping on the AI hype train. But something REALLY important is going on, and I want to talk about it. I remember a friend telling me how AI was making incredible progress and might actually make human programming obsolete. I really thought it sounded like nonsense. I had all kinds of counter-arguments lined up. I don’t think anything...

Agile Everywhere – slides from my keynote at Lean Forum

Here are the slides from my keynote “Agile Everywhere” at Lean Forum, Gothenburg.

Great conference, great atmosphere! Very inspiring to hang out with a bunch of super-experienced practitioners. I love conferences where it’s clear that everyone is there to learn and spread knowledge. It’s funny though, in lean circles like this I’m often known as the Agile Guy, while in agile circles I’m often known as the Lean Guy

Confessions of a Change Agent – my keynote from Agile Rock, Kiev

Here is the flipchart from my talk “Confessions of a Change Agent” at Agile Rock conference in Kiev. Click for a zoomed in version.

Confessions of a Change Agent

Crazy & fun trip! Apart from my ending keynote and some random agile conversations, I spent most of the conference jamming on stage,  signing books, and being in pulled in for selfies

Meat eater’s non-dogmatic guide to becoming more vegetarian

If you are a meat eater and you want to become more of a vegetarian (or at least eat more plant stuff and less meat stuff), and you kind of struggle with that because meat tastes good and you’re used to eating it, then this guide is for you! A short pragmatic guide for the aspirational vegetarian who still wants to enjoy good food.

I’ve been on this journey (and struggling, I admit) for about a year and half. I’m nowhere near full vegetarian, but I’ve cut down meat consumption by more than half, and will keep trying to reduce it. The nice thing (and a bit of a surprise) is that it doesn’t feel like a personal sacrifice at all!

Here are some tips if you want to join in:
