New story book based on The Red Princess
I decided to try out AI for images based on one of my short stories: The Red Princess: The Land of Ice & Snow. I was quite impressed with what I got from Artistry.AI. The result was the creation of The Red Princess: The Quest or Color Ages 3 -5, a condensed version for little kids with coloring pages in the back.

Audio books for a holiday read
We used to spend every holiday stuck in traffic at the B.C. Ferries terminal or stuck in their parking log. I think we spent more time there than with family. Now we stay home for Thanksgiving and enjoy life on the island. We enjoy walks on the beach and time to relax and read or listen to audio books.

Fall is here… It’s time for you!
The kids are back to school which means it’s time for you! Whether you’re a senior like me who loves to travel and camp in the Fall or it’s finally time for you to get some ‘me’ time, it’s definitely all about catching up on reading. I have a number of books I’m taking out traveling with me from paranormal romances to some cozy murder mysteries or thrillers. I love CeeCee James, Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Janet Evanovich, C.N. Crawford, and many more. My tastes are pretty varied.

Woot! Woot!
Well the weather outside is frightful, but writing again is delightful so let it rain, let it rain, let it rain… or snow depending on where you live. lol
So, I am quite excited that I have started to flesh out the story line even more for a special edition in The Silver Spurs Series. It won’t be out until Christmas (2024) but it is really coming together. As I have written before, I suffered a serious brain injury which has sidelined me for a few years, but I am working at overcoming it through various techniques – mostly art therapy. The focus on this novel will be the kids, all grown up now, during a crazy Christmas escapade. I have changed the name to Runaway Christmas from Who Killed Santa. It will be a gut-busting funny sleigh ride of a read. Of course, it wouldn’t be a cozy without a murder or two. You’ll just have to wait and see.

Heartfelt thank-you to readers
On my Amazon author’s panel, I can read reviews that readers leave. There haven’t been any new ones for months and all of a sudden 15 new reviews popped up for the Gumboot & Gumshoe and Silver Spurs Series. They really touched my heart. Guess I better stop being retired and write the two books I had planned, one more in each series. I am doing a bit better after a brain injury left me with the ‘wobblies’ as my gran would call it. Will give it my best. Thank you to all for being so patient. It has been a rough journey.
