Books Coming Soon

Through Neon Eyes #1: Zoner has been reissued on Amazon. It is in KU for the moment, but will not remain there forever.

I will be putting book #2, Control up on January 12th, give or take a day or so.

As far as January goes, I might be putting Apocalypse Dance up later in the month. It is one of my Jaymie Michaels books. I'll have to see how the editing goes. It might be a bit later for that one.

Progress on the new books are going slower than I'd like. Hopefully after the end of the year I can set some goals and get books finished and out to be edited. We'll see how that goes.

I hope everyone has a happy Holiday Season.

See you in the New Year.

Upcoming release

I will be rereleasing Rocky Mountain Christmas in November. I've gotten the edit back and have run through the corrections--mostly typos--so all that's left is getting it formatted.

NaNoWriMo starts tomorrow. Unfortunately I'm still working on book 7 of The Last Marine. It's been a long haul, but I'm hoping to get through the rest of this book and well into book 8--the finale--during NaNo.

After this, I think the Through Neon Eyes series will be next. I'll see how things go.

And here's the info and sales universal sales page for The Strongest Magic.

Rosalyn Munroe is a full-figured woman who longs for the same things all women want. Love, companionship, a family...but destiny doesn't seem to have that in the cards for her. Or does it? When a speeding SUV nearly runs her over, she finds herself confronted by the most handsome man she's ever seen. He takes her breath away and heats her up in ways she hasn't felt until now.

Jerome Thompson has arrived to save Rosalynn from the Brotherhood, a vicious pack of warlocks who want her dead before her gift can be awakened. When they touch, sparks seem to fly through his body. Is she the one? He sure hopes so because she's the most beautiful woman he's ever met.

Too bad the Brotherhood wants both of them dead.

I'm trying to get it formatted for Kindle, failing that I'll upload my Draft2Digital version and call it good.

Books Coming Soon

I will begin releasing my old titles with new cover art soon. The first one will be one of my books as Jaymie Michaels, The Strongest Magic which will come out sometime mid-month. It's a Halloween m/f romance that I wrote back in 2015 or so.

Auburnimp and I are also busy finishing the Dragon & Fenyx series. We are adding four new books which will bring the story of Flamespirit and Stormdragon to a close. Finally.

We are also going to be working on Guns of Colorado after we're done with the Dragon & Fenyx series. Only one book in that series was ever released though we had 3 finished and contracted to the publisher that vanished on us.

More news soon.

Working on the New Series

The series is called The Last Marine. I'm working on book 7 of 8 right now.

Here's the blurb for the series. I'll work on streamlining it later.

First Lieutenant Jae Whitlow is a MIST—Mechanized Integrated Strategic Trooper—enabled Marine doing Black Ops missions to protect the America he loves from the dangers of a world in turmoil.

When his son, Mark, is born with a congenital heart problem he agrees to have the neural implants for his MIST upgraded to become an even more valuable asset to America in order to secure the type of care his son needs. Care not covered under the basic military health insurance allotted to his family.

But the military isn’t on the up and up and instead of waking up after the surgery to install his new neural links for the MIST, Jae wakes up later. Much, much later

In a future where everything has gone to shit, he discovers the ecoterrorists he fought against as a Marine have nuked most of the major cities of the world. And if that wasn’t bad enough, a meteor has made a complete mess of what was left.

With everyone he knows, including his family, dead, Jae comes a bit unglued. What does a Marine who spent three hundred years on ice do?

He either gives up and dies…or he learns to kick ass in a world gone mad.

It's been a long time

I know, years since I posted here but life got in the way of everything else, including writing.

To be honest, I took a job to help out family members who were struggling. At first the job was the normal 40 hours a week deal, but that quickly changed. I went from 40 hours to 60 and more. I actually worked at this place 21 days straight with not a single day off. And it was very physical, so it left me really tired at the end of the day.

Fast forward to quitting that job, thinking I'd found something good, or at least better.

It lasted a year and during that year every single day became a little worse until I was told I would get written up for not calling out at least 2 hours before my shift.

The punchline there was that I fell on the stairs while getting ready to go out the door. So how could I call them 'in advance' when it was on the way out the door to go to work when I fell?

I've got a different job and I like it. No more long hours which means I'm back to writing again.

My current issue is I have over 60 books that lost their publishers and have to get new covers and formatting etc before they can be rereleased.

Do the math: 60 covers with each cover averaging $100 to $500+ equals a heck of a lot of money.

So, while I'm trying to get stuff back out, it's going to be a long haul.

And that doesn't even include books that I'd finished but which never got published because my publishers went under before they were even issued.

So there you have it.

Long time no hear

I know, I've been away from GoodReads for a long time, but I was taking care of my mother who had Alzheimers. She died last November (2014) and I'm just now getting things in my life back on track.

I've sold a new title to Dreamspinner Press, Worth More than Words is a psipunk novella and it should be out in a couple more months.

In the meantime I've had a number of rereleased titles come out through Fireborn Publishing who appear to be happy reissuing some of my older books that have been out of the public view for--in some cases--five or more years. (Yes, I've been writing long enough to have a LOT of books out of circulation.)

You can find the m/m titles here:
http://firebornpublishing.com/store/i...

The m/f titles are being rereleased under my alternate pen name--made to keep my m/m readers from buying a genre they don't want--of Jaymie Michaels here:

Time sure flies

When you're busy writing.

Since my last post I've sold two more stories to Torquere Press. Sharing Tomorrow which is already out, and Forgiving Valentine which will come out in 2014 because I just missed the date for the Valentine's theme this year.

I have three other books/stories out with publishers right now, two of which have past the first reader and are waiting for decisions by an editor.

I'm hard at work on another story too.

In other news Auburnimp has returned from retirement and we're working on the Sakura Blades series.
