Thank you! To Swoon and to Spar (Penvale's book) is coming in April 2023!
Martha Waters
Thank you!
A) I only work part-time now, so I have a lot more time to write!
B) When I still worked full-time, I got up around 5:30 to have time to write for an hour or hour-and-a-half in the morning before work! I did set word count goals but honestly don't remember what they were back when I still had a full-time job, I know they were definitely lower than mine are these days now that I have more time.

Thank you so much, so glad you enjoyed!
I get asked about epilogues a lot — I haven’t written them in the books themselves so far for a couple of reasons. Part of it is the fact that my books all take place quite close together, so my instinct was to let all the action in the books play out before eventually writing an epilogue for the whole series. Partly, also, with To Love and to Loathe especially, I loved the last scene so much that I really wanted to end the book on that note, and not write an epilogue. (Also, I will confess that I struggle with epilogues a bit so want to be sure I'm writing one that feels like the right fit for my books.)
I do plan to write some sort of series epilogue—I’m not sure how many books will be in the series yet, so I’m not sure if this will be something that appears in whatever the last book ends up being, or something I send out through my newsletter or put on my website. But I do promise to eventually write something!

Thank you! And yes, Emily & Belfry's book is coming in 2022! It's called To Marry and to Meddle, and it's a marriage of convenience romance. :)
Martha Waters
Yes! A third book, To Marry and to Meddle, about Emily & Belfry, is coming out in 2022!

Hi Megan, so glad you enjoyed! I unfortunately can’t say anything yet about what comes after Diana and Jeremy’s story in To Love and to Loathe, as I’m not contracted for anything else beyond that point with my publisher at the moment — I’m sorry! I promise that as soon as I have any news to share about future books, I’ll be shouting it from the rooftops!
