Am working on it right now -- stay tuned! (And really glad you're enjoying Kate's baking!)

Thank you! Really glad you liked the characters and the story! Coral Cay is kind of a patchwork of small pieces of different places that I've known and loved. (With a little bit of whimsy or wishful thinking thrown into the mix.) I definitely wanted to set the series in South Florida. And I liked the idea of having the location a little off the beaten track -- so the idea of an island really appealed. It also opened up a story line for SUGAR AND VICE involving Coral Cay's pirate founders -- which I hope readers will enjoy as much as I have!

Jan, So glad you're enjoying it! I don't, but SUGAR AND VICE will be out in April. In this one, the denizens of Coral Cay are in the midst of the annual pirate festival as some long-buried secrets come to light. And you'll meet Kate's ex, Evan Thorpe. Best, Eve

Hi Nicole, I don't. But I do have a Cookie House webpage -- with links to some extras that give a little background on the series. (It's CookieHouseMysteries.com.) And I'm also on Twitter (@EveCalderWrites).
Hope you're enjoying the series! Best, Eve

You have a blank computer screen, and you can create whatever you want. It's also the worst thing about being a writer -- that blank computer screen.

I'm convinced there's no one solution. It's like hiccups: everyone has their own cure.
Mine is that I put something on the page. Even if I know it's rough. Even if I know I'll want to change it later.
And it might not even be in order. If I know what one character wants to say before I know what they're doing or wearing (or who else is in the room), I do that bit first. Then as I get that down, the rest usually comes into focus.
