Daniel Gibbs It makes logical sense, right?

Earth is a wonderful, incredible planet. For all our knowledge and exploration, we've yet to find another world anything like it. But its also the only place you can find humans.

If something were to happen to it... well, no more humans. Sagan, as always, puts his comment right on the money. :)
Daniel Gibbs Audio is a great format - but quite expensive for an indie. :)

The good news in the next week or so I'll be able to announce some exciting around an audiobook of Fight the Good Fight by a well known narrator in the Military Sci-Fi community!
Daniel Gibbs I'll start with the second half, because that's a really difficult question. I've read so many over the years. My all time favorite sci-fi novel is Mutineer's Moon by David Weber. The jist of it is that our moon is a giant space ship. Check it out... while that sounds completely over the top and insane as a plot device, it actually works out really well. The entire series keeps you guessing and is very well done.

As for the inspiration to write, in my previous 'day job', I did a ton of technical writing. I had created in my mind, the universe around EOTP many years ago, and I just decided one day I was going to write something that was worth reading, and bring my stories to life. Now that I've published it, the market will determine if it is actually worth reading. Meanwhile, I'm working on more books! :)

Daniel Gibbs My current project is "So Fight I", book two in the Echoes of the Past series. As I write this, I'm about 65,000 words in to my draft. I'm on track to deliver to my editor in July, and from there, a fall release. I'm also working on the final book in the initial EOTP trilogy (Don't worry, I have six other outlines for novels based in the EOTP universe, most featuring the same characters! :) ), titled "I Have Fought a Good Fight".
