If I told you, then it would ultimately fail to be a mystery. :)

Wow, with so many magical worlds out there, that is quite a tough one to answer!
It might be a little selfish maybe, but honestly I would go to Lunaria from my Crescent Moon books. It is beautiful, full of adventure, magical creatures and many characters I have grown to love. I would stay away for sure, hang out with my characters, take an airship ride to see the kingdoms and likely stay for the food:P But time there is different than Earth, so I could have all the adventures and return home without missing out on my life here. I'd take my daughter and make lasting memories. I know she would love to ride on the dragon Hraithgar. And I would love to see her match wits with Rowan, though I would regret getting those two together. And most of all, I would love for her to meet the character named after her, Ana of the Lily. Now that would be a good day!

Oh man....well the initial idea for the entire Crescent Moon story was actually the first idea I had for an original story that stemmed from an assignment in the fifth grade. It was very simple and basic at the time and I didn't pay it much thought...but the premise never left me. It was like a seed planted and it just continued to grow and evolve until the point where I could not help but write it. And then it just exploded in scope. A series became two. They in turn turned into an ever expanding story line and saga known as Crescent Moon, which will likely be 42 or so books when I am all said and done. Yes, sometimes I scare myself:)

Honestly, inspiration can come from anywhere if you are open to it. You can be reading a good book, or watching a movie or having a great conversation etc...as a writer, you often have to take a scenario or subject matter and ask yourself what if? And then you have to nurture that inspiration. I will write down the idea, try to add details and find music that guides and drives that inspiration. Don't shake off inspiration, even if it seems small or silly at the time. You have to give yourself a chance to see where you can take an adventure to.

You get to create worlds. Engage readers and hold their attention, have them love and hate your characters. Cheer and curse your name. Laugh and cry with you out of a story you created in front of a computer screen. What can be better than that? It is definitely an awesome, if not somewhat addicting feeling. There is definitely a little magic in that.

Currently, I am working on an ongoing fantasy saga known as Crescent Moon. The first book of this ever-growing story shall be released on Friday, 3/2/18. It starts with a single book and unfolds into another. And then a series and so forth. Intersecting stories. Recurring characters. Epic adventures. I would definitely sum it up as The Lord of the Rings meets the Neverending Story.

Quite simply...write! That is what makes a writer a writer. Too many people doubt whether or not they can write and it ultimately stops them from being a writer. You will never improve as a writer sitting around wondering if you can be a writer. If you have a story, tell it. Write it out. It matters not if it is sloppy. You can go back later and refine. Give yourself a chance to find your voice and let it come alive on the page. Don't take criticism too harshly. Remember that even the great authors out there have been rejected and had their works reviewed poorly. No story is for everyone. But your story WILL be for someone.

To me, writer's block simply means that one road to my destination is blocked. Rather than make things worse by pushing forward with frustration and little results I simply change routes. Writer's block might mean I simply need to step away and work on something else or a different aspect of the project. It is a lot less detrimental or frustrating if you simply aim your creative energy elsewhere. Sometimes we just need a recharge or a fresh perspective to keep moving forward.

That answer varies, for it is directly affected by what type of writing session I am about to delve into. Am I writing for an hour? Am I editing a novel? Have I convinced myself to pull an all night write night to push myself to my slap happy limits? But it is always varying degrees of caffeine and denial. The constant of course is caffeine, whether it is a cold brew to go, a warm mocha from the coffeehouse or just putting a straw in the coffee pot at home.
