Raz T. Slasher It depends on the kind of writer's block I'm dealing with. The first thing I do no matter what is always having a novel and a few short story projects going at once. If I hit a dead-end on one I can just jump on another one and get some writing done. Keeping some notes or a little journal on the projects helps a lot with jumping back and forth.

If it's a block from the writing period, I go on the hunt for inspiration. I engage in activities with my peers, listen to speculative fiction podcasts, and hit up my always growing "to be read" list.
Raz T. Slasher Free therapy, and lots of it! This is especially true when it comes to horror. Is there some event or some person in your life that negatively affected you in a big way? Use that! All jokes aside, being a writer is a lot of fun. I get to make up stories all day and talk to a lot of people about my work or even the work of others. Getting paid to do that is the greatest thing I have ever done in my life.
Raz T. Slasher It's important to be active in the writing community. There's this amazing writing group on Reddit and discord called Write Right that I was lucky enough to stumble upon a couple of years ago. It helped me hone current skills, learn new ones, and get a lot of support and encouragement to never stop writing. Surrounding yourself with people like that is one of the big keys to success.
Raz T. Slasher Everything in the world around me inspires me in some way or another. Sometimes you just have to take a look around you. Go to a public place and observe, join online communities and talk to people about their life experiences, or just wander around the internet till something sparks your interest and then research it.
Raz T. Slasher Silence is Crimson: Homecoming
Raz T. Slasher Right now I'm working on a sequel to the novel I just released that was called Silence is Crimson. The working title for the current one is SIlence is Crimson: Homecoming. It's honestly my love letter to horror as a genre and to all the people and places I grew up with in the little town of Riverside, Ohio.
