Sarah Conner and Kyle Reece from The Terminator.
Although these two character only share one day together, James Cameron did an excellent job of showing the viewer that they had very strong and real love - love that transcended two worlds at two different times. It was also very believable, putting the whole time travel issue to one side. Kyle clearly loved Sarah, even before he had met her. And Sarah's life was given meaning and direction from Kyle - she became a tough character in the sequel and gave birth to the savior of all humanity!

Oh Phetra! That is a question. I have often wondered where I got this idea and have narrowed it down to a drinking session I had with a friend in London once. During our conversation one night, he told me of a friend of his who had died of a drug overdose in his flat while he was partying with two escorts. After finding him collapsed in the bathroom, the escorts called for an ambulance and had to give police statements.
Anyway, afterwards I was mulling over the scenario, thinking about what would have happened if the escorts had just left the guy. How long would he have lay dead in his flat before being discovered. What if the escorts robbed him before leaving? What if the escorts had played a part in his death by supplying him with drugs? What if the man had died, not as a result of the drugs, but what if one of the escorts had been an assassin and had killed the man on behalf of the British government because the man was a spy....
So I decided to go with it and create a story along those lines. My first idea was that the two escorts discovered secret files that the man had been supplying to the Russians, or the Chinese etc. They fled with the documents and had the secret service on their tail...
Then I decided it would be better if there was just one escort and the assassin had to chase him down, and of course they fell in love....lol
Hope that answers for you and thanks for the question!!1

The idea to write Into The Team came to me after reading an article about bromance. I thought it would be an interesting angle for the MM genre to stretch the idea of bromance and turn into something more like romance. From the start I knew I would need a setting/scenario where bromance would likely exist, and the idea of a football team seemed an obvious choice.

A good way of getting around writer's block is to take the characters from your current manuscript and, using a blank sheet of paper, write a scene that you have no intention of including in the story. I have used this technique and wrote a backstory for two characters, thinking I would never use it. That scene later became a key chapter in the manuscript.
