Andi Avila is a mathematics professor, U.S. Army veteran, mother of four, and lifelong storyteller. Her passion for writing grew from a love of science, suspense, and asking difficult questions about the world around us. Drawing inspiration from her experiences as an educator and her fascination with human resilience, Andi writes young adult speculative fiction that blends mystery, STEM themes, and unforgettable characters facing impossible choices.
