I've had this theory too for a while, if it's true I'm gonna feel proud for us that we both had the same idea and were correct. Another piece of evidence is that he said "He probably didn't tell you about me", and it would make sense why would Mast Benedict tell Christopher about his old apprentice that turned evil? And I am not 100% sure about this but I'm pretty sure that in one of the books Issac says that Master Benedict blames himself for Peter's descent into darkness and if he blamed himself that's another reason why he wouldn't tell Christopher.
That's true, but the Raven is said to be around fifty and Master Benedict is about the same age. So it wouldn't really be possible, unless disguises were involved!
Just coming back to say YOUNG ME WAS RIGHT. LETS GOOOOOOOO. Still my favorite book series, even if I have started dabbling in more mature books (A mans search for meaning is currently number 1, not a series tho) Anyway would love a reply and maybe some acknowledgment for being right, this question was posted when only 3 books were out almost 6 years ago and im beyond proud that I got it right.
