Magic Of The Ancients Quotes

“Real life, philosophy, human psychology, and ancient history fascinate me. It never fails to amaze me how human relationship dynamics haven't changed in thousands of years. Back then, they called it Karmic relationships; today, the new-age buzzwords for relationships are: toxic, narcissistic, abusive, and so on. The three schools of thought that most pique my mind? Marcus Aurelius's Stoicism, Sun Tzu's Art of War, and Carl Jung's Archetypes. Thought leaders should combine these three and see what they can create. Definitely, the most intriguing is Jung's theory on the nuanced connection between psychological personality archetypes and astrology, the language of the stars. He connected the collective unconscious directly to the universal, primordial blueprints of Archetypes. For instance, he mapped his four foundational psychological functions directly onto the four ancient astrological elements of the zodiac signs: fire for intuition, air for thinking, water for feeling, and earth for sensation. When you analyze which element your zodiac sign falls under, you realize something huge: the opposite element is the key to helping you discover how to work with your unconscious shadow. ”
