Aisha shot arrow after arrow into the golem’s upper body while Cassiopeia and Crowell slashed at its legs with their powerful dark steel swords. With each strike, the swords imparted the wither effect to that portion of the golem’s body. Soon, the golem’s legs were so infected that they were almost pitch black. It fell to its knees, unable to stand any longer, the sword strikes and the wither effect finally taking their toll on the golem’s strength. Archeon finally managed to stand. He walked toward the suffering creature. The golem, which had begun to flash red, looked at Archeon with baleful eyes, barely masking an intense sadness.”
