“Wait!” Shawn interjected, looking intently at Kenny, “You said ‘you all’ not ‘we’. What aren’t you telling us?”
Kenny fiddled with his thumbs but Shawn smacked them apart.
“I’m going away for a while.”
The cheering had ended so abruptly that the silence was deafening against the occasional pops from the oven.
“I’ve decided to quit my job and open a restaurant!” Jerry quickly interrupted, breaking the silence, “There’s isn’t a name for it yet but I’m excited…”
Tonya and Teddy gave a small cheer.
“Here’s a name; shut up.” Shawn glared back at Kenny, “You’re doing what again?”
