“Among other things your mind was designed to rightly divide good thoughts from bad, form healthy powers of reasoning, and operate with a clean, creative imagination. So how do you heal the mind and free it to precisely execute its office? Jesus says it happens when “your whole body is full of light.” His light drives out the darkness caused by wounds in your inner man. Those wounds control your thoughts, but when He heals them with His light, your mind becomes sound. The job of your will is to make good Spirit-led decisions so you are not directed or controlled by the pain of your wounds. When your whole body is full of light, you become healed and able to discern “the perfect will of God” (Rom. 12:2). This empowers you to make good choices that lead to explosive prosperity instead of failure.”

“Grace is even powerful enough to heal offenses, resentment, hatred, and any deep, bitter root in your soul. Look at this proof: Exercise foresight and be on the watch to look [after one another], to see that no one falls back from and fails to secure God’s grace (His unmerited favor and spiritual blessing), in order that no root of resentment (rancor, bitterness, or hatred) shoots forth and causes trouble and bitter torment, and the many become contaminated and defiled by it. —HEBREWS 12:15 I love this verse for so many reasons. First of all, it admonishes me never to fall back from grace, because when grace is operating in my life, it can prevent bitter roots from growing in my soul. When you let bitterness, resentment, rancor, or hatred gain a foothold in your life, trouble and torment follow. The root of the word trouble in Hebrews 12:15 is ochleō in the Greek. It means “to be vexed, molested, troubled: by demons.”16 Don’t forget that a soul wound causes you to have something in common with the enemy. Your wounded soul gives Satan the legal right to vex, molest, and trouble you. But grace heals the roots of bitterness in your inner man and kicks the devil to the curb.”

“The Bible describes Eglon as “a very fat man” who oppressed Israel for eighteen years (Judg. 3:17). Interestingly enough the number eighteen is shĕmoneh in the Hebrew, which means “plumpness.”11 Could the same evil spirit that empowered Moab’s fat king to oppress Israel still be at work to afflict us with unpleasant plumpness today?”

“Satan’s goal in this trial was to try to stop the completion of the new temple by accusing Joshua of breaking the law. The devil’s intentions for you are the same. He wants to stop you from rebuilding your temple, which is your body! Thus he will go into court armed with files of your lawbreaking so he can put death on your body. However, remember that Zerubbabel finished his work on the temple when the people shouted, “Grace, grace,” to that mountain of resistance (Zech. 4:7). Grace will win your case. The lawsuit filed against Joshua was so important that the Angel of the Lord was present in court to rebuke Satan on Joshua’s behalf! Why? Many theologians believe this was Christ Himself who would become the atoning sacrifice for all mankind. Because of the presence of the Lord, God not only took away Joshua’s sin but dressed him in robes of righteousness that he didn’t deserve. This is a perfect picture of the unearned, unmerited grace of God triumphing over the law! It”

“When I asked the Holy Spirit what I was seeing, He said it was evidence of every single time I broke the law. Shortly after seeing this, I was visited by the spirit of death! Satan is a legalist. The number-one weapon he uses against you is your lawbreaking. He will use any and every transgression against you in court, even what the Bible calls your “hidden” and “unconscious” faults (Ps. 19:12). Absolutely no one is exempt from his accusations.”

“Then the Angel of the LORD admonished Joshua, saying, “Thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘If you will walk in My ways, and if you will keep My command, then you shall also judge My house, and likewise have charge of My courts; I will give you places to walk among these who stand here.’” —ZECHARIAH 3:1–7, NKJV”
