“this life is just a prologue or the opening credits to the Final Chapter. Why focus on what you real y can’t control? You have the choice to accept the ultimate free gift from God which is eternal life through His one and only Son, Jesus Christ. So everyday is just a page in your life, take one day; one page of life at a time. Matthew 6:34 (NLT) “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” We can buy creams and lotions, work out every day and eat right, there is real y NOTHING we can do to slow this chapter of our lives. We can definitely make it healthier and I believe more enjoyable, but we only real y have 100 years or less. Why not focus our efforts on loving God and fol owing His commandments for a better and healthier society. I urge you to focus on the eternal chapter of your life. Do all you can to help you and others live out the final chapter of life in eternal bliss. It’s what we were designed to do! Not in an attempt to earn our salvation, but as gratitude for our salvation. So work hard for the Lord, but remember, the best is yet to come: Final Chapter—Eternal Chapter.”

“the answer to stress is prayer and we have the ability to hand our problems over to the Lord. He will help get you through life with the gift of the Holy Spirit. God loves each and everyone of us so much and He always provides what we need; not what is always comfortable, but what we need. When you get stressed and boxed into your world, take time to slow down, spend time with God in prayer, study and take time to be stil”

“One The number ONE means so many things in every aspect of our lives. We are born to ONE woman. We are focused on being number ONE in sports, school, politics, etc. We love to be number ONE. As a Christian, we believe that there is ONE Lord, ONE Savior and ONE church. We bond with others in our cities, states, nations and all over the world that call on the name of Jesus. We can use this number to focus our efforts to improve our lives. Instead of looking at life as half-empty and the things you can’t do, try looking at how ONE can make a difference in your life. If you are battling an il ness, acute or chronic, try doing ONE more thing today. Take ONE more step, try ONE more rep in physical therapy, smile ONE more time at those who are helping you. Sometimes even though you are sick, you can make such an impact on others by how you handle your ONE issue. Maybe you are an athlete; try doing ONE more rep at the end of the set. ONE more interval on the bike, track or trail. ONE more sprint if you are in the middle of football practice. The person who has the “just ONE more” mentality will always beat the other person and be number ONE. If you are dieting and trying to get your physical body back where you want it; try eating one LESS dessert, one LESS fast food lunch, one MORE salad, one MORE veggie and one MORE lap around the block after dinner. If you want to draw closer to God, read ONE passage a day if you are out of the habit. It doesn’t matter which one, just spend time listening to the Word of the Creator. Say ONE more prayer than just the one to bless the food. ONE more good deed to help your fel ow man. ONE more smile for your spouse, child, sibling or parent. What if we all did ONE good deed this week for a lonely neighbor or a shut in from church? 2 Thessalonians 3:1 (MSG) One more thing, friends: Pray for us. Be that ONE person who makes a difference in this world by doing ONE more thing to progress the love of God!”

“Mark 2:4-5, 11 (NLT) They couldn’t bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, so they dug a hole through the roof above his head. Then they lowered the man on his mat, right down in front of Jesus. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “My child, your sins are forgiven....”“Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!” Recently a friend of mine (who also has MS) told me a realy cool story. She had been at church and they cal ed those down front that wanted prayers to be healed. I assume she, as would I, thought that they meant “other people.” But her daughter was tugging at her sleeve and said, “Mom! You should go down there!” So, they did and a man put his arm on her shoulder and asked if she had an il ness and did she want to pray for God to heal her. “No, no I can’t” she said. But the man said “wel , I can pray for you, others can pray for you to be healed.” He reminded her that it maybe wasn’t the paralyzed man that asked for healing, it was the faith and actions of his friends, and Jesus rewarded their faith. So, if I am taking this passage way out of context, forgive me, but please take a second to think what that could mean for you to ask others to pray for your health. For some, we just can’t pray for ourselves (to some this may not make sense, but I am tel ing you, it hit right at home for me; and for my friend with the same chronic il ness.) God can do miracles today, but if He doesn’t, that’s not the lack of faith or the lack of power from the Almighty God; it’s just a greater plan we cannot see. Our minds are finite; His is not. So don’t limit God; pray earnestly for others.”

“Christians have this great secret to the meaning of life; many times we are scared to share it with others because we think it sounds judgmental or preachy. Why do we act so timid and shy about sharing such an incredible message. We tell others about our favorite foods, a great deal on clothes, even a good movie. “be a positive and encouraging light in every room you enter. Let the fol owing verse be your battle cry and let your faith shine before others. 2 Timothy 4:7 (ESV) I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. “Toscanini was one of the greatest orchestral conductors in the world. Once when he was talking to an orchestra when he was preparing to play one of Beethoven’s symphonies with them he said: “Gentlemen, I am nothing; you are nothing; Beethoven is everything.” He knew well that his duty was not to draw attention to himself or to his orchestra but to obliterate himself and his orchestra and let Beethoven flow through.” Live your life ful y for Jesus; you are but a tool for His service, a reflection in the mirror of Christ. “I’ve been thinking that the Whole30 is great, but #Holy30 would be even better as wel ! The goal is that during the month of January I will not eat anything processed and only whole foods. To turbocharge the plan, I’m exercising daily as wel . This is good for the body, but it doesn’t real y do anything for the soul. What if we, as Christians, did a Holy 30 for 30 days, what would that look like? I think it would include waking up early, listening to God in His Word, praying to God and meditating on his words. But it will also take divorcing ourselves from the world and its influence on us as wel . Maybe no mindless TV for that time, maybe only listen to Christian music, watch wholesome videos (i.e. Rightnow Media) no newspaper, no magazines. Of course it would include diet and exercise too as our bodies are a holy temple. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NLT) Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. Doing the Whole 30 with my friends with MS has been encouraging. We text-email daily and encourage each other to stay strong. Wouldn’t that be a good plan for a Holy 30 as well?”
