“11 Luciferian Points of Power By Michael W. Ford 1. Lucifer represents the light of intellect, wisdom and power unique to the individual with the courage to ascend to this responsibility. 2. The symbol of the Adversary is that of the self-liberator and spiritual rebel who inspires self-evolution. 3. Lucifer represents the balanced torch bearer of Venus: The Light Bringer as the Morning Star and the Night Bringer as the Evening Star. 4. The Adversary symbolizes the spark of consciousness which questions everything, manifesting the individualistic path with accountability only to the self. 5. The fall of Lucifer symbolizes the liberation of the mind from the slave-mentality and the courage to explore and master the darkness within. One may not offer the illumination of the Morning Star without the wisdom of the darkness within. 6. The Adversary represents rebellion with purpose: wisdom, strength and power. 7. Lucifer represents the courage and fortitude to acquire healthy self-love, leading to the responsibility of honoring your temple of mind, body and spirit.
8. To become your own god you must have the wisdom and strength to govern and guide your life as if your mind is to survive beyond the mortal body.
9. Indulgence with restraint, love for the deserving and disdain for those undeserving. 10. Lucifer represents the insight that every act, no matter if perceived as selfless, is at core a selfish act. Even if helping others is your passion, the brain still receives a chemical reward triggered by the act. Therefore, many consider that doing good deeds in society may bring you closer to “god”. Recognize you are selfish, then see this fact in all others while observing. Accept this and then with this knowledge, make choices that would benefit not only yourself but your loved ones’ when possible. 11. To become a god is to fully understand that you possess the power to create and sustain your path in life and illuminate the light of self-determined potential.”

“As the symbols reveal their knowledge, the Luciferian should utilize and bravely command and encircle the powers which are accessed via the Deific Masks as we understand them. A Muslim epithet of Shaitan is Maliku’l-Quwat, meaning Lord of Power. Iblis is not for Luciferians a symbol of “evil”, the Adversary motivates, challenges and inspires those bearing the Black Flame to become via Apotheosis. We are symbolically the new Nephilim, born of the Spirit and Earth and balanced between both with the potential to govern our inner and outer existence. Luciferians utilize some Sufi techniques. A theory of Sufism is that man is incomplete, part-animalistic and partspirit. The rituals of Sufi practice are devoted to making the seeker “pure”, becoming essentially “one” with the Infinite. That is Right-Hand Path thought, unity with an imagined “God” or governing force. Luciferians agree that man and woman in the initiated state are incomplete, often ruled by animalistic urges with a weakened will and little discipline to guide with the mind or spiritual nature. Luciferians seek a balance and “Infernal Union” between flesh and spirit to ignite our path to self-excellence. We reject “oneness” with the delusions of monotheistic creating tyrants and their priests. This is a hard path, full of struggle and challenges: Left-Hand Path creates Gods and Goddesses who are aware of their complete ability to shape their life. In summary, if the technique can be applied from our philosophical approach, use it!”

“HECATE TRIMORPHIS Antiquity provides the inspired Witch or Warlock with a vast body of knowledge concerning one of the most ancient, revered and feared deity known as Hecate. From ancient Greek and Greco-Roman myth, religion and magick traditions and her many epithets and masks, the Triple Goddess is incarnated in various forms and names in Celtic, Norse, Germanic, Thracian, Scythian and the Hellenistic world through the Christian period. The lore and wisdom of the circle reveals that the feminine and masculine powers which embody the Lord and Lady of the Sabbat are of equal quality. To be awakened as Baphomet – Cain, the Luciferian must attain a beginning of balance between Samael and Lilith. Be it known, these are Names of Power and there are numerous types of Deific Power within the elements and this world of flesh and spirit. Lilith is one mask of the goddess, representing a type of manifestation of that power. The goddess Hecate is another equally terrible and beautiful Deific Mask which is a foundation for the Luciferian Path. Hecate tests, challenges and reveals the complete circle of Above and Below. The Left-Hand Path is one of the Crooked Serpent; the Leviathanic-dragon which emerges from the deepest darkness, coiling upward to be Crowned in the Emerald and Amethyst brilliance of the sun. In this is found metaphor and knowledge, mark well the keys to your Apotheosis upon this path. You will not bow before another; all symbols and powers are incarnated in your flesh and spirit. To join the gods in the Sabbatic Circle of the Dream is to bring under your power the spirits of ancient forces which will be consumed in the diabolic ecstasies of nocturnal flight. Hecate has many faces, names and forms. To understand this great power, we must know her names and the whispers often too soft for the uninitiated to hear. In the Chaldean Oracles, Neoplatonism elevates Hecate to a goddess who has numerous incarnations and a wide authority of power. In the Oracles, Hecate is the Queen of Daimons; she personifies powers of matter and nature. The Chaldean Hecate reflects as a mirror the nature of the soul embodied in matter; she equals in approach the internal condition of the soul and matter. There are several traditions and variations of the Names of Power and Deific Masks Hecate assumes as a Triad, I have listed three examples. HECATE TRIODOTIS (of the Crossroads or Three-ways)
Phoibie – Holds a key in her right hand and a blazing torch in her left hand.
Dione – Holds a whip in her right hand and a burning torch in her left hand.
Nychie – Holds a serpent in her right hand and dagger in her left hand.
A second example of the Triad:
HECATE TRIMORPHIS (Three-formed)
Luna Lucifera (the Moon) in Heaven
Diana Artemis on Earth, Hecate Phosphoros (Bringer of Light, Carrier of the Torch, the Morning Star)
Hecate Chthonia (of the Underworld)”

“VESPERUS The Evening Star Vesperus is the star which brings night, Venus in the shadow-aspect. Traditionally, Ishtar (Inanna) in her identification with the Evening Star denoted her warlike and bloodthirsty attributes, while as the Morning Star indicated her protective, loving and creative traits. The Path of Vesperus is the exploration of the Nightside of your Magickial aims; strategic conflict, war and conquering your enemy finds a parallel with Mars in this aspect. Vesperus is Noctifer, the Night-Bringer and the demonic path of Therionick invocations and dream-projection.”
Michael W. Ford, Fallen Angels: Watchers and the Witches Sabbat
“LUCIFERUS The Morning Star Luciferus, known also as Phosphorus and Eosphoros are names of Venus as the Morning Star. The Path of the Luciferus is one of guiding, illuminating wisdom and insight. The Watchers Kokabiel, Azazel (as associated with beautification and seduction). The Palmyran God of the Morning Star, Azizos has associations with Azazel as previously mentioned but also with the warlike association with Mars. Azizos is identified as Ares which is also the power of the forge. Arsu is the twin of Azizos who is identified as the Evening Star. The workings of the Morning Star are to be performed right before dawn, when the star is easily noticed in the Eastern sky. The invocations and offerings are focused on the spiritual and celestial aspects of bearing light, Apotheosis in the higher faculties of the mind which is associated with the Daemon.”

“Algol was identified in Hebrew as R ōsh ha Sāṭān (Satan’s Head), known also in Latin as Caput Larvae (The Spectre’s Head) and in Chinese as Tseih She (Piled up Corpses). In modern Luciferian Magick, Algol is a name for the 8-pointed star of Chaos with the Inverted Pentagram within, representing the 7 Sebitti, 7 ArchDaevas and the 8th being the Black Adept controlling and guiding these powers. Algol is composed of 2 stars which is represented in Luciferianism as Samael (Satan the Adversary) and Lilith.”

“DRACO & THUBAN The Dragon ﻥﺎﺒﻌﺛ thuʿbān Thuban and Al Tinnin is from the Arabic title for a star in the constellation of Draco (Azhdeha). Draco, in Greek mythology was the serpent which guarded the Golden Apples in the garden of the Hesperides. Thuban itself translates ‘snake’. In the Zoroastrian Bundahishn, Gochihr, a dragon of Ahriman, identified as the Draco constellation is like a snake (dragons and serpents have interchangeable root word associations) with the head in Gemini (Pahlavi ‘do-pahikar’) and tail in Centaurus (nemasp). The head of Gochihr, (Gochihr Sar) was identified as the demon (daeva) of eclipses under the rule of Ahriman. In the Bundahishn, two Daevas (demons) are enemies of the stellar constellations and threaten the order of the cosmos. Gochihr and Pairika Mush Parig both are serpent-like with tail and wings. The Bundahishn reveals several astrological symbols and the lore of the Dragon. “As Gochihr falls in the celestial sphere from a moon-beam on to the earth, the distress of the earth becomes such-like as that of a sheep when a wolf falls upon it.” -Bundahishn Chapter 30 The eclipsing power of the Gochihr is partially thwarted by establishing parameters in which the demons are restrained to. The Bundahishn describes “Gochihr and Mushpar, provided with tails, unto the sun and moon and stars. The sun has attached Mushpar to its own radiance by mutual agreement, so that he may be less able to do harm”.
In Manichaean lore also recognized the eclipsing Dragon as Anabibazon and Katabibazon (Head and Tail of the Dragon). Gochihr or Draco is known in the Brahmanic tradition as Rahu, demon of eclipses. Using the Algol Ritual, call forth your shadow and take the eclipsing power of Azhdeha as the form of the sorcerer.”

“PATH OF THE DESCENDING STARS
ORION THE HUNTER
Constellation of Semyaza In Medieval Arabic astronomy, Orion was known as aljabbar (The Giant) and the sixth brightest star, Saiph was named saif al-jabbar (Sword of the Giant). Ancient Egypt held Orion as the constellation in which the deified Pharaoh would ascend to and become after death: Sah the “Father of the Gods”. Orion is identified with Semyaza in which the Watcher was suspended in the heavens according to some Jewish lore.”

“SATURN Saturn has a dual essence, violent death and disasters associate him with a companionship with Mars. Saturn is cold, brooding and autocratic in authority. As Saturn is one of lower impulse and death, the creative aspects of Saturn are the inspiration of artistic knowledge, bringing ideas into a material form. Saturn is a Lord of Magick, a balanced authority upon the cycles of time and the death-rebirth of earthly life. Saturn has association with the Goat, Donkey, Peacock, Bat, Spider and Goat-Fish. Kronos, Hera, Ea, Ishtar of Erech as the Lady of Heaven and Queen of the Gods, Kali, Shiva, Ptah (Egypt) and Neith the mysterious bride of Set. Saturn rules over the Goat, Capricorn, Water-Bearer and Aquarius are under the influence of Saturn. Saturn is also the Reaper-planet, the affinity of death and regeneration as a cycle in time.”

“MERCURY The one of transformation, knowledge and the higher articulation of ones’ Daemon, Mercury is the faster of the planets, the sacred scribe and magician known as Thoth (Egypt), Hermes (Greece), Nabu (Babylonia) Ningishzida (Sumerian) are Deific Masks associated with Mercury. The essence of this planet is calm, consistent order and healing; travel, the arts, agriculture and commerce are associated with Mercury. Gemini (Twins) and Virgo (Virgin) are associated under his authority. Healing and fertility have association with Mercury including the removal of curses, spells and modern medicine.”

“The Sun was the most influential of the celestial bodies, the very light of the gods of old. The Sun ruled the part of the sky which was marked by the constellation Leo, representing strength of character, dignity and authority. Health and the life of earth was given by the Sun and ancient cosmic battles took place during the cycles and journey of the Sun in lore of Babylon, Canaanite and other teachings. The Deific Masks of the Sun are Apollo, Helios, Dionysus, Sol, Oriens, Shamash, Shapash, Horus, Ra and the Watcher Shamsiel. The Sun is associated with the element Air, animals such as the Lion, Bull, Hawk, Leopard, Panther, Tiger, Winged Uraeus Serpent, Egyptian Sphinx and trees are Pines and most Oaks.”

“The myth of the Seirenes (Sirens) of ancient Greece have close associations with the class of Mesopotamian WindDemons The women who lay with the Watchers and bore the Nephilim were given great depths of knowledge, learning the magickial arts and the secrets of power. In the Book of Enoch, these women did not die but became Sirens to prey upon man. Within the myth of Enoch, some of the Watchers are imprisoned in the dark underworld depths yet the Evil Spirits of the Nephilim could haunt the earth indefinitely. In the Greek tradition of Enoch, the wives of the Fallen Angels became Sirens. In Greek mythology, Sirens are predatory sea-demons who enchant with their beautiful songs and cause the death of sailors. The Seirenes are described in the Odyssey as "lolling there in their meadow, round them heaps of corpses rotting away, rags of skin shriveling on their bones.” These seductive predators in later Greek myths are associated with devouring their male prey. The depictions of the Sirens are nearly identical to those of Mesopotamian Lil (Wind and Night) Demons. Lilit, known later as Lilith, is specifically a demon which is associated with death and desolate places. Lilit is the Hebrew form of the earlier Akkadian Lilitu, a class of vampire-demons from the family of Lamastu. The Sirens are depicted as half-woman and half-bird, with talons like the descriptions of the winged Lilitudemons from Babylonian lore.”

“The Nephilim are a mirror of who we are as predators in this world. The Nephilim thirsted for the life which was in the blood, which enhances and elevates the predator to greater levels of insight and power. The cults of Yahweh condemned the draining of life force, or the symbolic blood as it also caused the brain by the way of red meat, to develop and grow. If humans were to grow intelligent, they would have no need of Yahweh or the monotheistic religions keeping the mind in chains. To drink the blood is symbolic of devouring and dominating life which exists outside the self. In Hebrew law according to Yahweh, drinking the blood was an evil taboo, forbidden to anyone. The symbolism of blood-drinking to the ancient Hebrews was the substance in which the spirit or soul existed, to devour it is to consume the spirit. During the Roman period, the legend of Jesus depicts his symbolic instructions for his followers to drink his blood and eat his flesh, something the Nephilim were damned for earlier. The path of the Luciferian is one created by the selfdetermination and Daemonic inspiration as a unique expression of the Adversarial Current. The Nephilim are both Vampyric and Cannibalistic in the symbolic sense of dominating and over-mastering their rivals or prey. This is the core of a god or demon, the very foundation of philosophy inherent in the Luciferian’s core being. Luciferians in the lore and symbol of the Nephilim, seek to balance the predatory instinct with a guided, creative and beneficial discipline in life.”

“Their birth and maturity is presented in Enoch VI-XI: “And all the others together with them (Watchers) took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and defile themselves with them. And they taught them charms and enchantments, and the cuttings of roots, and made them acquainted with plants. And they became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells: Who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them. The giants turned against them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.” In the Book of Enoch, the Nephilim are described: “the giants, who are produced from the spirits and flesh, shall be called evil spirits upon the earth, and on the earth shall be their dwelling. Evil spirits have proceeded from their bodies; because they are born from men and the from the holy Watchers is their beginning and primal origin; they shall be evil spirits on earth and evil spirits shall they be called. As for the spirits of heaven, in heaven shall be their dwelling, but as for the spirits of the earth which were born upon the earth, on the earth shall be their dwelling.” -Enoch XV”

“The Nephilim were the offspring of the “Sons of God” (Watchers) and “Daughters of Man”, before the biblical flood of Genesis. After the flood, some of the Nephilim existed as evil spirits, immortal upon the earth and demonic in nature. In Numbers 13:3 some of the living Nephilim ruled in Canaan at the time of the Hebrew conquest. They are described: “These were the heroes that were of old, warriors of renown” in Genesis 6: 1-4 in the New Revised Standard Edition.”

“Bezaliel is associated (like Azazel) with the Fulgura Inferna, the lightning flash which sprang from the ground. The Fulgura Inferna was possessed by Chthonic Deities in the ancient Etruscan religion. The Etruscan word for ‘lightning’ was rendered by the Latin ‘bidens’, ‘Forked Lightning’ is represented as the Two-Pronged Fork. This symbol is associated with the fork of Hades, God of the Underworld. The associations and deep meaning in Luciferian symbolism has layers of hidden knowledge which can be applied to initiatory benefit not only in philosophy but spiritual development as well. If you choose the path of Cacodaimonic Nephilim Apotheosis, Bezaliel is a key to insight and guidance upon this theoretical and forbidden possibility.”

“The name of Batariel translates ‘Rain of El” as well as originating from the Babylonian word making bathar-el, “Valley of El”. Batariel like the other Dekadarchs taught charms and enchantments to not only their human wives, also those humans who sought the arcane knowledge of the forbidden path of gods. Batariel can be considered an Angel of Rain. Batariel possesses the power and knowledge of rain and earthly fertility. Associated with the elements of Water and Air, Batariel inspires the cycles of renewal and growth in nature and within living beings. As holding the power of rain, the symbolism is the needed invigorating and life-giving watergiver, a fertility of earth, sustainer of life and the imagination and new ideas. When performing invocations of Batariel, using the epithet of Ombrios is a useful adaptation. An example of this is “Batariel Ombrios” and would be uttered and a visualization of a hard rain should be focused on along with the Sigil.”

“Yequn is the Watcher who led astray the Watchers, bringing them down to the dry ground (earth) and inspired them to join with human women. Yequn inspires spiritual liberation by the path of rebellion, having the courage to forge your own path by the way of the unknown. The name of Yikon has origins with the Hebrew word for “Idol” and “Image”, representing the use of cult statuary and symbols in Magickial ceremony. As one of the ring-leaders of the rebel angels, Yequn is the inspired and determined Watcher whose spiritual linage exists within Luciferian Adepts today. Yequn holds the symbolism of the Infernal Union of the Immortal Spirit bearing the Black Flame and Earthly Flesh which is the initiation of the Luciferian Witch creating the self newly pulsing with Witch Blood. The Hebrew spelling is from “The Rebel” and “He Will Rise”םוּקָי.”
Michael W. Ford, Fallen Angels: Watchers and the Witches Sabbat
“Penemue (spelled also Peneme) translates from Penimi, ‘The Inside’ and is a patron Watcher of the art and knowledge of reading, writing (symbolized by paper and pen). This knowledge was essentially forbidden by the laws of Yahweh (except, of course, for the controlling Priesthood). Penemue is a bringer of intelligence, thus inspiring humans to question all and with their acquired knowledge, choose their own path in life. Penemue is also associated with the fallen angel Abraxiel (the later Gnostic Abraxas) who governs under the Qlippothic rule of Thamiel in Kether upon the Tree of Da’ath. The Hebrew spelling of Penemue isי ִמיִנְפּ Penemue inspires the articulate thought and selfknowledge to recognize the use of strategy and understanding the application of reason, logic and abstract thinking. An ideal angel of the Luciferian tradition. The Egyptian Thoth and Babylonian Nebo would be similar Deific Masks, instructing magical knowledge, reading and learning to elevate humanity to a deeper understanding of potential.”
Michael W. Ford, Fallen Angels: Watchers and the Witches Sabbat
“Sathariel is a continued powerful Fallen Angel as found in the Qlippoth of Binah, “understanding”: forbidden knowledge and the delicate Black Alchemy of Self-Liberation, Illumination and Apotheosis. Sathariel is the “Concealment of El” who tests and challenges the seeker to have the perseverance of maintaining the initiatory trials of Apotheosis. The demons of Sathariel are shadowed, black veiled heads with goat horns, having fiery yellow and red eyes which pierce through the veil, followed by terrible centaurs.”
Michael W. Ford, Fallen Angels: Watchers and the Witches Sabbat
“The name ‘Sahr’el’ means “Moon of El” and Lunar sorcery and magick is what this Watcher teaches including the Lunar Month. The course of the moon, how it affects water and thus life on earth is one facet of this knowledge. The moon is associated with emotion, desire, passion, dreaming, cold, changeful and glamor. The moon is also the cycle of order in balance with the Sun, thus a Lord of Wisdom. The Deific Masks Sin, Artemis, Selene, Hecate, Diana and Khonsu are attributed to the Moon. The name Azrael is an alternate name of Sariel in Enoch and translates “Help of El”. This draws a deeper suggestion of the varied types of Deific Masks and the power which they represent. The Moon provided one of the earliest methods for measuring time and a calendar. See Sathariel.”
Michael W. Ford, Fallen Angels: Watchers and the Witches Sabbat
“Shamsiel means “Sun of El” and has mythological association with the Babylonian Deific Mask Shamas. This is a Lord of Light, Judge of the Heavens and Earth (as Shamas). The planetary associations of the Sun are traditionally creative, authoritative, courage, leadership, health and spiritual illumination. The balance of the sun is found in both its life-giving warmth and the blazing destructive heat are well noted. Solar Deific Masks such as Shamas, Ra, Apollo, Helios, Sol and in the Destructive solar heat Nergal (as the Black Sun, different power than the Mars association), SetTyphon, Apep/Apophis, Sekhmet, etc.”
Michael W. Ford, Fallen Angels: Watchers and the Witches Sabbat
“Hermoni, whose name also has a connection to a root meaning ‘to ban’ indicates that this Watcher is the ‘god of imprecations’ who punishes oath-breakers with a destroying curse. Armaros or by which ever name you wish to use above is a celestial angel who upon descending to the mountain, taught wizardry, loosing of spells, spell-binding, sorcery and the art of divination all within the encompassing traditions of the Black Arts. The teachings of Armaros are how to release spells, compel change in energies and how to use words to enchant, compel and suggest change according to the Will. This type of wordweaving sorcery is known negatively as ‘Sophistry’, yet this type of word-craft is used today in advertisements, political speakers and so on. Do not condemn it, learn and use Sophistry to your advantage. Remember ‘Earthly Mastery”, this is one avenue to that very thing. To imagine, visualize and belief with appropriate power the Words of Power in your incantations are the vital key to success in ritual.”
Michael W. Ford, Fallen Angels: Watchers and the Witches Sabbat
“Wall of El”. Gadreel, another name of Azazel is described in Enoch as the Watcher who showed all the deadly blows to the sons of men; led astray (illuminated). More specifically, Gadreel showed men how to use the weapons of death, the shield and breastplate, the sword for slaughter and from his hand humans went out against those who they call enemies to conquer and destroy. This is the proper Law of Nature; Survival of the Fittest. While Azazel teaches the art of forging and making weapons, Gadreel teaches the art of using weapons to make war. He is associated with the planet Mars. Gadreel is a ruthless Watcher who understands that to become great in spirit and flesh you must be balanced in your strategic plans of war upon that which stands against you. Gadreel also recognizes the balance between the Law of the Talon, natural predatory instinct and the weakness of unjustified mercy. If you have an enemy who cannot be won over or negotiated with, destroy (within appropriate legal limits) without guilt and enjoy the victory you achieve. Gadreel is the Watcher of appropriate consideration of options in life: women’s choice to continue a pregnancy or to abort, selfdefense against those who attack you and recognizing this world is cruel and to act accordingly.”
Michael W. Ford, Fallen Angels: Watchers and the Witches Sabbat
“The 13th Century Cabbalist Moses ben Nahmenides associated Azazel with the planet Mars and the demons under his command are the biblical ‘Seirim’. His realm is in the places of desolation. His power emanated that which causes destruction, he ascends to the stars of the sword, blood, wars, disorder. His rule was in antiquity included the tribes of Esau, those who live by the sword. To offer incense, food or libations to the Seirim as fertility spirits is to honor Azazel. To know of such spirits, divination via Necromancy may be performed using dreams and the black mirror among other techniques.”
Michael W. Ford, Fallen Angels: Watchers and the Witches Sabbat
“Eshmun means “Eight”. In Neo-Platonist lore, Eshmun was the 8th Son born of Sadyk (an ancient Phoenician god of justice), this healing god is recognized as the Greek Asclepius. Semyaza taught spells and the cutting of roots. The name of Semyaza is another aspect of Azazel, the Deific Mask reveals different energies and power than Azazel within our context of magickial lore. As the leader of the Watchers, the knowledge of that which grows from the green earth and the uses of herbs in sorcery is what Semyaza inspires. The Watcher Amezarak is thought to be an inner-Ethiopic corruption of Semyaza. In Jewish legend, Semyaza is an alternate name to Samael and Mastema as Abezi Thibod ("father devoid of counsel"). Semyaza is described as a Seraph who was tempted by the maiden Ishtahar to reveal to her the Name of Power (of El) which allowed her to ascend to the skies. In the Hebrew myths, Semyaza is said to hang upside down between heaven and earth as the constellation Orion (the Hunter). Semyaza had among others two Nephilim sons, Hiwa and Hiya. Semyaza is the patron Watcher of magicians and sorcerers, an inspiring spirit to the Witch or Warlock who seeks the Elphame path of hidden light of which to cast shadow. Visualize Semyaza, Shemyaza or Amezarak in your invocations and meditations. For further healing meditations and spells, Eshmun may also be invoked with incense and libation offerings. His inspiration of healing comes from both plants, herbs and pharmacological inventions of modern times. Semyaza is presented here in two forms. The first is the Watcher united and partially composed of the earthly green and fertile vines and the witch-cult knowledge of our sorceries. The second is Semyaza, crowned in radiance of divine power, instructing cultists of the Hellenistic Pan and Dionysos with the rites of health, lust and renewal much like the temple-cults associated with Mt Hermon.”
Michael W. Ford, Fallen Angels: Watchers and the Witches Sabbat
“There were numerous rural temples on the mountain at various locations. As mentioned above, Mt Hermon was considered to some extent a forbidden and sacred place in the Old Testament, with temples and locations sacred to numerous deities including Pan, Atargatis, Leucothea, Zeus, Ayn Qainya and an anonymous god at Har Senaim, Baal Hermon. In the Christian tradition represented in later Enochic literature, Mount Hermon was a cursed place because of the fall of the angels, the Watchers. Mt Hermon was also a center of syncretic mythology which united the Jewish and Christian myths of the Nephilim and Watchers ruling the location with the Hellenized lore of the giants during the Roman period. The wilderness of Mt Hermon was also home to a Sacred Grove of Pan, the god of springs and fertility. On the Western side of the mountain, the local cult of Qasr Antar held influence extending to Sidon. On a Greek inscription on two stone lion statues dedicated to Zeus in AD 147, numerous ancient gods held power with different epithets. Mount Hermon holds significant history and lore with cults representing in myth the traits of self-empowerment found with the Watchers and Nephilim. Invoke Armaros as a symbolic self-dedication which encircles your becoming Temple of Mind-Body-Spirit and the coming forth of your Daemon. Armaros brings forth a terrible feeling of dread, the invisible radiance touching and then filling your mind with the balance between the Heavens and Earth. Your oath is made thus with the Dekadarchs and is not breakable (without invoking selfdestruction) once the initiatory process of Apotheosis begins. The symbol of Mount Hermon in the Watcher Apotheosis Invocations herein is simply the foundation, center and commonly the Altar (in a metaphorical sense). Mt. Hermon is the focus point between Heaven and Earth, thus an instinctive symbol of the Great Work or Luciferian Apotheosis and Magickial practices. For the imaginative, visualize your altar as symbolic of the image you “see” of Mount Hermon in your meditations and invocations. The imagination along with Will, Desire, Belief is the forbidden path to knowledge and power, desires become a reality when complete investment of the alchemical unity is made.”
Michael W. Ford, Fallen Angels: Watchers and the Witches Sabbat
“A key to the Black Arts is to understand the mysteries within the name itself. In the “Ethiopic Book of Enoch8” a close study and translation of many of the names of the Watchers are given and by their definition associations are defined further. The Watchers hold specific streams of initiatic knowledge and power when understood and invoked in sorcerous practice. Depending on the Name invoked, befitting their association, supports the Luciferian in acquiring a path to the knowledge of the specific art or power sought. The Watcher in this sense is invoked in union with the Daemon of the Luciferian and that power over a period inspires insight, wisdom and power from that union. In acquiring knowledge and commanding the power of the Watchers in Luciferianism, invoking the name summons atavistic energies and powers to be commanded by the sorcerer in question. The Daemon of the Luciferian is made stronger by this act and thus supports balance between the union of the spirit and mind of the Witch. Have purpose and intent for your sorceries and retain through discipline the balance required for your ascension into Apotheosis.”
