“You need to see that holding onto blame when you can let go of it makes little sense. As long as you fill your moments with positive actions, then you replace all the negativity and that helps you to get to a state of happiness that is sustainable.”
James Huang, Buddhism: Living A Life Of Happiness, Mindfulness & Peace
“I remember being startled at something that the Dalai Lama said about people praying for solutions to the recent shootings in Paris and although it was hard to swallow what he was saying, it was actually common sense. He said that we are praying to God to fix a problem caused by man himself. That is illogical and God would be within his rights to tell people to fix those problems themselves since they have caused them. Too often, we rely too heavily upon God for forgiveness and do not do the wise thing – which is to learn forgiveness ourselves. As long as we are aware that these things are wrong, then that’s enough.”
James Huang, Buddhism: Living A Life Of Happiness, Mindfulness & Peace
