“Real Love It seems I got off on the wrong foot, right from the start. Speaking unwisely, but speaking from my heart. Feelings aren’t easy to explain; meanings of words are sometimes lost, in what we say. Our fears and heartaches from the past often get in the way. My heart is tender and fearful from all the pain that has happened to me. I feel yours is, too, and that pain and sorrow can cause us to miss what could be. Being too careful, we can lose the chance that we long for. For sometimes, the one for us is only briefly at the door. It takes courage, faith and trust to find real, true love. We must not give up, and put our hope in the Lord up above If one is willing to share their thoughts and their dreams. If there is any attraction at all, it is a waste it seems. Because real love is one of the hardest things to find. But if you do, it gives peace, comfort and joy to your heart and to your mind. So here is your poem, that is written to you from me. It is written from my heart, to a love that shall never be.”

“ What is Love? Love is something that you cannot pick up and hold in your hand. It is invisible to the naked eye and cannot be seen by mortal man. Love is like the wind that comes then softly and gently blows, drifting slowly past until it fades and gradually goes. Its substance cannot be seen, touched, smelled or even heard, yet the evidence of it cannot even be put into a thousand words. It can be felt, not only in our mind, but also in our heart. It is strong when we are together; it is even stronger when we are apart. Love is what keeps the world turning and all the evil at bay. It’s what makes life worth living each and every day It is stronger than anger, hate or any other thing For only with love, can true happiness bring. This is only the beginning of the description of love, Yes, it is the greatest of all gifts and it comes from God up above. I also read once that love is never boastful, never selfish, never prideful and always willing to forgive. Love is the greatest thing on earth. It is also the greatest thing in heaven for God is love, 1John 4:8 and 4:16.”

“ I Miss You Outside the sun is shining, and the roses are in bloom. The sky this morning is so lovely, but here I sit in gloom. Outside the birds are singing, but in here, no beauty resides. For my heart is empty, shattered and broken, and will be ‘til you’re back by my side. Honey, I miss you every morning, and at night when I go to bed. I remember the times you were with me, and all the things that we said. And I miss your touch; the touch that makes me feel so much a man. I miss the smell of your hair, and the softness of your hands. I miss holding you in my arms and feeling your lips on mine. I miss hearing your sweet voice, which sounds so loving and kind. But most of all, I miss your warm tender body next to me as I sleep. I feel so empty when you’re not here; I lie awake all night and weep. Because without your love, my life is over and I’ll spend the rest of it being blue. So please say you love me and come back; for sweetheart, I miss you.”

“If we Could go Back in Time If we could go back in time, what changes would we make? If we could relive our lives, what different roads would we take? Would we say we’re sorry to those that we done wrong? Would we embrace and hold tight, our loved ones, who have been gone for so long? Would we undo some of the things that we once did? Would we change some of the words that we once said? Would we appreciate those who are now in our lives? Or would we wait again, until they are gone or die? Would we hold our children once again on our knee? Would we say to Mom and Dad, how much you mean to me? For some day, now, will be the past where you wish you could go, To relive today and there to show, Your love for those that mean so much to you, For you cannot go back in time, no matter how much you want to.”
