“Suddenly she sensed the presence of someone moving stealthily behind her, and without hesitation she instinctively whirled around, grabbing the large man by the shoulders and wrenching him backward while taking his legs from beneath him. His body landed with a heavy thud. She quickly straddled him, placing her dagger to his throat.

"Please call my Genny. We are family now, Christopher," she said matter-of-factly.

"Indeed! And are we to expect you to topple all the men of the family and sit astride their chests? Dressed in your bedclothes?" he asked, grinning mischievously.”
