“The fact is that, whether it is us or someone else going through a trial, Jesus does not necessarily save us from every difficult situation. But he does promise to pray us through to victory. He prays that our faith will be more than a match to stand our ground, when the enemy takes a shot at us. So, be patient, and let Jesus use whatever is at his disposal to get you through into his purpose and calling for your life. It's not what's happening now that's important, but what God has prepared for your future that counts.”

“Do you realise that it is God who chose you, in Christ Jesus, before he put the earth together? His ultimate goal is to make you holy & completely blameless, by the time he has finished working with you. It's not always a quick process, following a quick line fit on a graph. You are on a journey, full of ups and downs, stopping and waiting; as God develops character in you. The specific characteristics, which God wants to develop in your life are: patience; long suffering; and trust. And God may need to make several attempts at developing these characteristics in all of our lives. Have you ever wondered why the journey with God, to develop such characteristics in our lives, takes so long? It's because such characteristics will stay with us for eternity.”

“There are three good lessons to be learnt today. The first is that we need to see God as our provider in our every day lives. Then we can start looking for the abundance, which God is able to give. The second lesson is that if we want to walk more by faith, then we should learn from others who themselves walk by faith. And finally, we should be aware, from scripture, that God always provides. And he will provide for you on a daily basis, as you put your trust in the one who provides ,which is God through Jesus Christ.”

“Do not become faint hearted, or discouraged because the answer to your prayer is late. God has planned the exact day that he is going to answer you. Your prayers are never a waste of time, so don't your forget that!”

“It is when you start to feed upon words of encouragement found in scripture, that those who have stood against you will see the salvation of God effective in your life. And they will wonder what you are all about. They too will want to put their trust in God, because you stood your ground against, what seemed like, insurmountable odds. When you go through difficult circumstances, if you will learn to put such encouraging words in your heart, you will find real victory. Not only will such words be in your heart, but they will proceed out of your lips. They will provide you with an anchor, if only you would spend more time in God's word. Then you would not have to put up with so many of Satan's lies!”

“The point is that we should not just wait around, hoping that one day a door will open for us. Indeed, a door may very well open for us just at the right time and place, along our journey with God. But we must not fear that trying different doors will somehow negate God leading us to the right door in life. Finally, like following a map, we might take a few wrong turns, until we eventually reach our destination. But we cant just sit at home, reluctant to follow a map, just in case we might make a few wrong detours along the way! So, put your full trust in God, and take a leap of faith, you won't regret it.”

“Running away every time you face a problem, whether it's in church or in the work place, will not help you. You will never learn to help others, if you are a person who only knows how to run away. God wants you to learn to face up to your circumstances, so that you can become strong enough to help others, so remember that.”

“Although we are here to help people where we can, we do not do so at the expense of our own salvation. Neither are we expected to help those who refuse our help. At the end of the day, you need to stop worry about the fact that you cannot help everyone. God knows your heart, and how much you have wanted to help others. But at the same time, God expects you to do everything in your power to work out your own salvation, with fear and trembling. So stop worrying, because only God can save the whole world.”

“Have you let obstacles get in the way of you running the race God has destined for you? If you want to run the race God has put you in with greater success, then it's time to rid yourself of any distractions. Such distractions will only prevent you from achieving everything God wants you to achieve in the Kingdom of God. Remember, the Olympians run for a gold medal. But you are running for a crown of life, which awaits you when you finish the race set before you.”

“You cannot go far wrong by learning to follow God's voice through the bible. However, if you do not spend time each day in the bible, then it can be very difficult to know what God wants you to do for him. This then makes you vulnerable, taking advice about God's will concerning you, through others. You have to depend upon whether or not such people are grounded in God's word. And if they are not, you've got problems!”

“It is often the case that we will not like going through such a trial in the area of health or finance, or whatever it is that we lack in. But like a broken bone, when fixed, it is stronger than before. Likewise, God will strengthen our faith, so that we might be able to accomplish greater things for him in our futures. God will strengthen our faith in an area where we are weak, so that we can experience being victorious in every aspect of our lives. So keep trusting God, because he's not finished his work in you just yet! And in time, you will come forth from your trial, with a new level of faith.”

“Just because you have been called by God, does not mean that life will always be plain sailing for you. You may even think that, while ever you are grappling with your circumstances, Jesus is sleeping on the job. Jesus would ask you, what are you afraid of? Storms of life are a good way of bringing to the surface things that cause us fear. So, the next time you are faced with the storms of life, find out what causes you to fear and deal with it!”

“Life is not meant to be stagnant, it's supposed to be dynamic, life giving, purposeful, eventful, and God ordained. What we had in the past served us well in the past, and no one is disputing that. But we are living in the NOW, and God is in the NOW, because he's a God of yesterday, today and forever. So do not suggest that because we do things a little differently from the past, that God is somehow not in it. That's like saying that God is not capable of change and development. God is not in the purpose of leaving us, nor forsaking us. And even if we do things a little differently, compared to the past, God is still with us.”

“So, let us get rid of any preconceived ideas that God has no interest in money. Let us stop listening to the lies of Satan, in that we should not seek God for financial help in every area of our lives. Let us come to the one who owns a cattle on a thousand hills, and let him do what he is good at. That is, providing an abundance of resources for us to survive on planet earth, until the Lord returns. God did not save us without also calculating the financial provision we would need for the duration of our time on earth. So if God is for us, who can be against us?”

“The arm of the flesh can never save us, but humility and dependance on a loving God can. When we become dependant upon God, and submissive to him as being the only one who can lift us up, then we are heading for a real spiritual breakthrough. Such a breakthrough will be like something, which we have never experienced before. And then everything in our lives will start to change.”

“Complaining about our circumstances, which is really a complaint against God, does not demonstrate trust in God. And remember, when our faith is at a low ebb, we can still trust God, until the answer we are looking for comes our way. The sooner we stop complaining, the quicker God will be able to change our circumstances for our benefit. So, if you want to enter God's land of promise, and see his word fulfilled in your life, change your attitude. Start thanking God, not just for the good times, but for the bad times too!”

“It takes a lot of courage to just simply move on. But that's exactly what God is looking for in his children. He is looking for people who will be courageous and follow him, with the possibility of little help from others. It's only when we take a step of faith, that God will make things clear to you. And, from my own experience, I have often had to set out on a new journey, with little to no support from others. And yet, when it became clear that I had made the right choose in life, people suddenly become supportive of me. The reason for this is that, just like us, people may not have much faith at the start of any journey. So, if it's time for you to move on, don't hang around for too long before starting your new journey!”

“The trouble for us today is that we still judge life by the difficult circumstances we go through, as though that is the spiritual temperature with which we gauge our lives by. Favour with God does not mean that we are void of battles, and horrendous circumstances. On the contrary, through it all, we continue to learn to trust in Jesus. He knows exactly what he is doing with our lives and ministry. Trust God that his ways are best. Through it all, I've learned to trust in Jesus, I've learned to trust in God. And if you believe that you have favour with God, then continue to seek him in prayer. And let him direct you to where you might best serve his purposes.”

“Is God saying to you, today, that he has done great things to bring you this far, but now, you need to know the presence of the Lord your God for the rest of your journey? If he is, then it's time to stop looking for signs, and start discerning God's presence with you. And this can only be done as you wait upon the Lord. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. So, get waiting on the Lord, until you are certain that his presence is with you, and so that you might continue on your journey by faith!”

“As Christians, we need to discover that God wants us to walk in a constant place of humility before him. Once we have learnt to find this place of humility, before God's Throne of Grace, God can then take our lives, and start to build something with them.”

“However, if you trust God to look after you, more than your company can look after you, then there's a bright future ahead of you in the Kingdom of God. You will gain a position, where God can take you onto bigger and better things and promote you. Learn to put God first, and employ right ethical principles in your work place; despite what others around you are doing. Then you will have nothing to fear. In such circumstances, your good deeds will rise up to the Throne Room of God, and you will be noticed for your honesty. So don't fear losing your job! But trust God, who is able to move you onto bigger and better things, once he sees that you have put him before your own personal needs and security. Remain ethical, because God approves of such things!”

“God's blessings are often on individuals, rather than on places, or even churches. However, such individuals need to navigate the storms of life, until they reach safety. And always remember, although you may go through lean time, scripture still holds true, "I have never seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed out begging for bread," Psalm 37:25. So just because, like Abram, you are going through a famine, this does not mean that God has abandoned, or forsaken you. Keep putting your trust in God. It may very well be that the famine you are going through is a famine on the land. And this may have nothing to do with you, but it may have more or do with the world. Always remember that God will make a way for you, where there seems to be no way.”

“So, if you have been going through continuous trials and hardships, it is because God has something exciting up ahead for you to do for him. It's not how your life starts, which is the point, it is how it ends that matters. So don't panic, if you have been going through continuous hard times, God has something extra special up ahead for you. And soon, those giants of adversity will be driven out of the way of God's future blessings for your life. Keep putting your trust in God, because a breakthrough will come, if you will remain patient! And no matter how big the giants are in your life, God is well able to use you to remove the head of that giant, and bring it down to size, in Jesus Name!”

“Today, when you pray, ask God to start closing doors in your life, doors that he does not want you to walk through. This will then put you in a good position to start recognising which door God wants you to walk through. And do not fear asking God to close doors for you. You do not want to go through a door which looks good, but only leads to eventual ruin.”

“It takes just as much faith to use a door closing prayer, as it does to use a door opening prayer. And the stronger our flesh is within us, the harder it is for us to pray such prayers. We would rather play a game of chance, and walk through any door, hoping that God is on the other side of it. But, if we chose a wrong door, we only end up wasting time, and slowing down our journey into exactly what God wants us to do for him. Sometimes it's simpler to go through an easy door, that requires little faith, when God really prefers us to go through the harder doors, which will lead us onto greater things.”

“God not only opens doors for us, he also knows how to close them too. The simple reason why God closes doors on us, is so that we do not end up going through the wrong doors. Going through the wrong doors both wastes a lot of our valuable time, and potentially leads us into making too many mistakes. Clearly, the bible tells us, in Revelation 3:8 (NKJV), "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name". As Christians, we are very good at seeking God to open a door for us. However, we are also quite reluctant to seek God to close the doors that he does not want us to go through.”

“There are two reasons why the world is in a mess. One is because the world has rejected Christ. The other reason, is because the world will not necessarily listen to those who know God. This often means that Christians end up frustrated because they cannot impart some of the wisdom, God has provided them over the years, to others. Like Joseph, this is where we need to be patient. We cannot always cast our pearl before those who don't want to listen. Joseph was only able to operate in his gifts and abilities, simply because there was a discerning Pharaoh in the land at the time. We can only provide wisdom, when the person (or group) who need it, get desperate enough to listen.”

“God is your boss. He is your power, he is your promotion, and he determines your future. It's not you, or your boss that makes the decisions about your life, it's God! So if your circumstances are a warning that you should slow down, then you should listen up, take note, and start working in God's timing. Don't fight God's timing, because you can never win. Just a gentle submission to the will and purpose of God to move more slowly, will pay dividends, and help you from making too many mistakes.”

“Today, if you have given up on the thought of having a child, come to God afresh to see what he can do for you. Do not take no for an answer! Bring your impossibility to the God of the possibility. Do not presume that it is not God's will for you to have a child; such thoughts could be a lie from the Devil.”

“You may have found that your walk with God has been a long constant struggle. However, there will come a point when you will gain a real and powerful breakthrough into the presence of God. And then you will come to a place of rest, where God can do a lot more with you. Weeping may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning, and the dawn of God's blessings will soon break out on your life!”
