“Oh, I’m ready for my punishment later, definitely,” she breathed. I gripped her hips.
“I love you, maniac. Now get your ass up that mountain.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“It’s a surprise,” she muttered. “But I’m starting to regret this. If I throw up on you, will you love me less?” I chuckled and pressed a kiss to her hair.
“Only 1% less. So I would still love you more than you ever imagined.”
“Oh good,” she breathed, smiling, even with her eyes squeezed shut.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“It’s time for me to finally admit it. I’ve been playing the long game. I brought you to Italy to kill you. The peppers should do it. If only we hadn’t skipped the boat tour. It would have been much easier to hide the body.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“Say please.” I ground the words out, already ready to thrust into her.
“Please fuck me.”
“Good girl.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“I smiled at the memory of her simultaneously wanting to kill me for making her cry and wanting to kiss me before we had permission.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“It’s my honor to cherish you, protect you, love you. With you, my joys are doubled and my burdens halved.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“You’re so fucking good at that.” He pulled out of me and gathered me against him. His chest heaved, and I wanted to laugh with joy.
“You mean I’m good at finishing way too fast?”
“You make me crazy.”
“I don’t intend to stop, you know.” He cracked an eye. “I don’t intend to let you. You’re not doing anywhere. In fact, I think it would be a great idea to shackle you to me forever.”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean, that I’ve heard we can take two weeks off for a honeymoon. I’ve also heard that Central Park is a great place to propose this time of year.”
“Well, sounds like I would be a fool to refuse.” I grinned at him. His pleasure at our life together was infectious.
“You would be. In fact, I don’t think I’ll let you.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“You like teasing me like that?” His voice was low and tight with need.
“I do.” I ground down on him and he hissed a breath. He nipped at my neck.
“You better hope I let you make it home.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“She thought with her heart and her head. She was my perfect match, and I was never letting her go.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“I should totally push you into traffic.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“Good thing you said you love me, because I’ll never get tired of you. As long as I live. I want this forever,” I vowed.
“Me too,” she whispered back, holding me to her. “Me too.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“I won’t last, Margo, I’m sorry. You have me too wild for you.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“She chose me, she wants me. I wanted to yell my happiness to the entire office, the entire world.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“Margo. Say you’ll never leave me, that you’re mine. Because I’ve never wanted anyone else the way I want you.”
“I only want you, Andrew. I’m yours. I love you.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“I wanted this to be perfect for her. She had my heart, and I wanted her to feel that.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“Her competence was such a turn on.
“You’re the absolute devil, you know that? One look and you have me panting after you.”
She stripped off her blazer and shook her head,
“It’s insane.”
“You love it.”
“I do.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“My voice came out indifferent when in reality I burned with pride that this beautiful, brilliant woman was by my side.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“I’m going to be thinking about you all day. I have so many meetings, Margo. I can’t be hard for all of them.”
“I regret to inform you that you share an office with me and you can’t escape,” I teased.
“I don’t regret any of the time I’ve spent with you. Not one single moment.”
“Even when we were enemies?” I poked him in the leg and he grabbed my hand.
“Even then. God, the way you used to bark at me around the office. I was hard all the time.” He let his head fall back against the seat and closed his eyes. “And there’s this one dress you wear to client meetings that drives me absolutely insane.”
“The light blue one? I thought you hated that dress. You always looked so angry on the days I wore it.” I remembered his jaw clenching during client meetings. He huffed a laugh, and I admired the sweep of his lashes and his full lips.
“Angry is not what I was feeling.”
I sat back. “Wow. Wait, what about the leggings?”
He opened his eyes, and they were hazy with desire. “I fucking love those,” he murmured.
“This is going to be fun.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“I’m going to keep my ears open for any weirdness as you call it, but I hope you’ll be getting up to most of that weirdness with me.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“How long have you been down here?”
“Remember, you live above me. As soon as I heard your boot heels on the floor, I grabbed my coat.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“If I could have it all, I would hold on with both hands and never let go.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“The craziest thing happened today,” I said, as I traced my fingers along Margo’s shoulder. She turned to face me, our pillows nearly touching.
“What’s that?” She had a small, secret smile on her face.
“The woman I’ve been obsessed with for seven years agreed to be mine.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“I can’t wait.” He rasped out. “Then get inside me.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“Margo. Look at me.” I raised my head to see him concerned, soft, perfect.
“I have been in love with you for seven years,” he said with a small smile. “I know I told you I stopped, but it was a lie. Or maybe I didn’t realize it myself until recently. I’ve wanted to make you mine every day for seven years and every day I have failed. But this month I realized that what I felt for you in the past pales in comparison to how I feel for you now. And now, I would do anything to protect you. I’ve loved you every day since I moved into the office with you.” His voice rumbled through me. “I’ve never wanted anything more in my entire life. Not even making partner. I would give it all up if it meant you could pursue your dreams.”
“I don’t deserve you.”
“Don’t ever say that,” he said fiercely. “I will spend every day proving to you just how much you deserve this.”
“I love you too, Andrew.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“Is it fucked up that I’m glad to know I have your heart enough to break it?”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“Let me go, please.” The word came out broken.
“Never.” He replied.
With one step he was wrapping me in his arms, his hand cradling my cheek. “ I will never let you go.”
I could see the tiny flecks of gold in his eyes and his slightly too full bottom lip that I always wanted to kiss and my heart squeezed. “All of this has been for you.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“First, I would strip you naked. Then, see that bench over there? I would turn you over that bench and make you take me until you came at least twice. Only then would I finish. I can picture you taking me right now and I’m so hard.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“This is what you’re missing, Margo. I want to fuck you right here where anyone could walk in and see us.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“My groin tightened at how just-fucked she looked.
“If you need to blow off some steam, I can help with that.” I spoke the words against her ear and felt her shiver.
“Oh god.” Her words escaped on a gasp.
“Oh god is right.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
“Fuck, her fire drew me like nothing else.”
Sophia Travers, Partner Material
